  (1) FOR loops are your friend here.  You can make a slight restructuring using loops, and then you will have less mess to deal with, the inner loop through tunnels of autoindexing to make it even simpler.

  (2) I would only treat the numeric values of the characters.  So go terminal of control of the chain, the capital letters and byte array to before the outer loop.  You can use a size of Board over there to tell how many times the outer loop to iterate.

  (3) the Index table is extensible.  So you only need over the index of the first, and it will increment itself, as it develops.

  Remember the ABC's of the GROUP BY:

  When you use a GROUP BY clause or in an aggregate function, then all in the SELECT clause must be:

  (A) a ggregate function,

  (B) one of the expressions "group By."

  (C) adding to C, or

  (D) something that Depends on the foregoing.  (For example, if you "GROUP BY TRUNC (dt)", you can SELECT "TO_CHAR (TRUNC (dt), 'Mon - DD')").

  To ask him, there are 5 columns in the SELECT clause.  The last one is a function MAX (...); It is an aggregate, is not serious.

  The first 2 columns are also named in the GROUP BY clause, so that they are well.

  Whenever possible, you should separate entry and calculations on their own tables. Lock tables calculation in order to protect the formulas. Leave unlocked data input tables to allow data entry.

  I have a list of phone numbers in a single column. Some cells have 1 phone number, some have 2, and some have 0. Cells with 2 phone numbers are separated by semicolons.

  I need all the phone numbers in a single column with 1 phone number in each row. The order does not matter, so I'll "Sort Ascending" once completed to get rid of the empty cells with no phone number.

  I need a function that takes the numbers after the comma and puts them on their own line in the same column.

  Note that the numbers are in the format: + 1-xxx-xxx-xxxx so if please be aware formatting as text and not as a mathematical equation.

  Easy enough, as long as all entries are accurate according to the format you described. Here are two examples, all tous deux two on the same table. The selected cells are part of the first example and are not used in the second.

  

  End of flag: The two examples use the flag to end on the A11 to indicate when the formulas have reached the end of the list. As entered flag consists of eight occurrences of the text "end" (including the trailing space), with the final space deleted. This will be assimilated by the formula two phone numbers, provide an indicator of the end of each list.

  Separates the first phone number in column B using this formula in B2, filled up to the last line containing a phone number in column A (or the line beyond if you want that the flag of the 'end').

  B2: = IF (LEN (A) < 1", LEFT(A,15))

  Len (A) checks no entry in its ranks. If that is found, IF put a string NULL. If there is an entry, LEFT out the first 15 characters.

  The second n phone number each line is copied into column C with this similar formula in C2 and filled up to the last line containing an entry in column A.

  If there are two numbers in this line from A cell, the semi colon will be the 16th character.

  After having extracted the numbers in two columns:

  Select all the cells in column B of B2 on the last containing a B10 number in this example). Copy.

  Go menu Edition > paste formula results

  Select all the cells in column C of C2 on the last containing a number C10). Copy.

  Click once on the empty cell in column B, following the list of the "first numbers" (B11 in this example).

  Go to edit > paste the results of the formulas.

  You can now sort the table according to the values (telephone numbers) in column B.

  Example 2:

  Go menu Edition > paste formula results

• Prevent freezing when loading the data in the table of GUI

  I am receiving messages via a TCP/IP connection.  Information of these messages are retrieved and displayed in a table, as they are received.  Number of messages is received over a short period of time, and a large amount of data is added to the table.  When this happens, the freezing of MISTLETOE and the user cannot press the Cancel button until all the data are inserted into the table.  How could I prevent this gel?

  I studied this forum and I found a few tips, but they did not help.  I used SetCtrlAttribute instead of SetCtrlVal to update the table.  Using SetCtrlAttribute to enter the information in the table slightly reduces the gel as the table is redrawn only once all information is entered in the table.

  I'm working on a game. Previously, I had 13 executives of sprite as separate files and used getBitmapResource to load into an array of bitmaps. It worked well.

  I've upped the number of sprite images to 26 and make them in a single bitmap file with 2 rows of 13 (corresponding to the States of game). I'm trying to load them into an array of Bitmaps - either one or two dimensions. None worked. The last loaded image is one that is displayed, regardless of what I call for. I use Bitmap.scaleInto, in OS5.

  My attempts at debugging continue to wonder if I'm violating a rule, with the berries of the Bitmap. Like, the berries can only work before because of the structure of the .png files? Bitmaps are already in an internal table format that blends in with my paintings?

  I can also have incorrectly implemented the scaleInto, although I'm working with the code for a very good post on this forum. Here is that code, currently configured to use a single dimension table. There are a few more from the referenced post lines, to maintain transparency in the sprite frames.

  Transparency works. And, if I shorten the loop values, the last loaded picture appears, regardless of what image I try to get out of the table.

  I know that I could skip the drawBitmap preload and only when needed. But I have a lot of code in place that expects to be able to check the dimensions of several bitmaps, in addition to these. And it seems just cleaner to shorten them.

  you re-use the image object, most likely, you end up with a table of the same objects (a table only refers to the object, it does not copy it).
