Separate unit

I have two unit Vm only in two separate locations. What is the best way for them to network together so that the user can send messages between two different Subscribers to unity?

HI -.

That might be VPIM network - you can read about it in the link I sent. VPIM is for unity servers installed in separate directories. It requires a license update - the doc lists the system requirements. I would consult with your Cisco account representative.

  • Voiceport config for multiple servers of the unit

    Unity 4,0000 sr1 CCM 4.0.2 (sr1a)

I'm a little unclear on the configuration of multiple servers of the unit for different sites to connect to the cluster of CCM even & I'm after a bit of advice.

Is it just a case of setting up various ports of voicemail, profiles & lists of hunting for servers in separate unit & then arise relevant phones in the correct profile of VM (a bit of as a failover configuration)?

Tips, advice or traps would be greatly received.

    Thank you

    NJ.

    So, sorry. I misunderstood.

The CCM, you create a set of ports vm for each server in the unit. For this set of ports on ccm vm, you must create the list of hunting; include ports which will answer calls (exclude the ports used by the unit to dialout only (MWI, trap, AMS Notification)

Create a second set of ports on the virtual machine with a different name. Repeat the above steps for the integration of the second unit.

For all the integrations of the unit, you can use the same power MWI.

  • JBOD

not even sure how to ask the question... I have 2 external hard drives connected to my iMac, and 2 external hard drives connected to my mac mini... use an external hard drive to backup to another... it's 4 power supplies, 4 candles, 4 separate units. Is it possible to do almost the same thing with JBOD?  A box containing at least 4 hard disks all indicated and marked individual hard drives, 1, 2, 3 & 4... and backup manually 1 to 2 and 3 or 4?   resulting in a Compact single speaker with a single source of single power supply (1 CAP). I would like to manually back up as I told 1-2 and 3-4 for example using Super Duper... is it possible?

Depends on what type of ports you have, but here are a few if you scroll down a little...

After you restart the installation of USB Overdrive, my cursor is stuck at the bottom. I can still move it horizontally, but not vertically.

I can't restart in OS X 10.4 to uninstall USB Overdrive, because I need the cursor for this.

And since they are not separate units, one, I can't go to the menu 'option' to boot into OS X. It would be not useful.

  • Splitting and merging of road crash

1 TB drive merger crashes constantly when waking from sleep.

After the restart of a symbol of prohibition, and from the utility disk in recovery mode, the portion of the fusion drive HARD drive is missing. SDS is visible. To get the machine working again, I rebuilt the DDI and installed OS x on this drive. Started again and improved to 10.11. run the utility disk in recovery mode, and now I see the DDD and the HARD drive even if they are separate units. Erased the two, now I can reinstall OSX on the portion of the HARD drive, proceed to 10.11 to new load my backup time machine on this disc. The discs are still divided, but the HARD drive seems to be functional and everything works.

Maybe a replacement drive would solve the problem, but I'm skeptical that this is the real problem.

    Notes:

I was once able to use disk utility to combine readers in merger by car, but he ended up crashing and I had to start over. I intend to let readers separate and work from the HARD drive at the moment.

The problem may have started after 10.11 upgraded OS.

If you have AppleCare, let them deal w / it.

Since you have a 1 TB fusion drive, I would call Apple Customer Relations - 1-800-275-2273.  Ask politely and firmly that you want to transfer to customer relationships.  Tell them exactly what you said in your post.  See what they can do for you!

  • Qosmio X 500: esata and a unique display of storage RAID external disk double Bay

    Hello

IM using external storage of Welland ME-580J dual Bay raid equipped two WD 2 TB green HDD in Raid 0.
Using the connection on my 500 - M 2 X esata I only see a hard drive. Technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology software can see both drives and will report the correct amount of storage.

Windows Disk Manager will see 1 HDD. I spent several hours trying to find a solution, but I was not able to find a solution.
Access to the external storage via USB works properly, but it is slower than esata.

Has anyone experienced this and found a solution?

    Solution to what?

As much as I know RAID 0 is nothing but striping and you cannot use two hard drives as separate units.
Every HARD disk has several parts/blocks and they work together.
Using RAID 0 will at the same time access to these two hard drives and it will increase the speed of transfer rate.

I don't have this camera and can not test it, but it makes sense to me that windows Disk Manager see as a player.

  • How to tie the two serial numbers using test including the tie in the database.

I have two separate committees, I need to link the serial number too.  One is being tested as a separate unit, then the two are tested together, I need to make sure that I connect them in the database.  Don't know how to do it, looking for any input I can get.  Using a labVIEW vi to request the entry of a Board, and then use information interface to USE testbed for UUT of the hand.

I have juries, one of the boards, A onboard, was tested by a different sequence file, then A is connected to Board B, and then they are tested as a complete set.  Received a few suggestions on how to save the two serial numbers, but went with a popup message added types of step (modified record results), and then just have the user scann the second number in and it stands as one of the results of the step in the database.

  • Fax and scan Windows

For scanning, I prefer to use Windows Fax and Scan rather than the Canon's own scanning software.

When I got Windows 7, I could add my MP990 multifunction analysis component to the control panel (devices and printers as a separate unit). This allowed Windows Fax and Scan to recognize the component analysis of my MP990 and scan him.

I recently did a clean install ("custom") of Windows 8. Unfortunately, I do not remember how to configure the component analysis of my MP990 all-in-one as a separate device and now Windows Fax and Scan does not recognize that I have a scanner.

    Please note:

    • I have already installed the latest driver for my MP990.
    • The printing of my MP990 component works perfectly.

Someone would remind me please how to configure the component analysis of my all-in-one printer in devices and printers so that Windows Fax and Scan will recognize my scanner and scan from it. Thank you very much.

From my research, I can tell you that it is one of the most frustrating problems with MFPs. I am happy to say that I discovered the solution, after a lot of experimentation.

The first thing to know is that Windows Fax and Scan uses Windows Image Acquisition. Therefore, your printer must have a WIA driver. According to this article in the knowledge base on the Canon Website:

Which inkjet multifunction printers are supported on Windows 8?

Windows 8 has a native WIA driver for the Canon MP990. It's just a matter of persuading Windows 8 to install the driver.

In addition, it is useful to check if the Acquisition of Image Windows service is running, but it almost certainly works.

If you have already installed the Canon MP990 then it appear in devices and printers as a printer. I discovered that, in my case, the MP990 is only installed as a printer. You want to be installed as a printer and a scanner.

To do so, go to devices and printers, and follow these steps:

    1. Select "add a printer".
    2. Click on ' the printer that I wan't is not listed. »
    3. On the next screen, add your MP990 printer by any method there is.
    4. Let Windows install the MP990 (again). Since the MP990 was already installed as a printer, the only thing left for Windows install is the scanner.
    5. After you are finished, you will see two icons for the MP990 in devices and printers. If you just click on each icon in turn and look at its description in the status bar, you will see that an icon says "category: printer" and the other icon "category: printer; Scanner' Bingo! You have now installed the scanner.
    6. Remove the icon that says only "category: printer" [click the > remove the instrument]

Now you can scan with Windows Fax and Scan.

I don't know why my MP990 himself initially installed as a printer only. However, I figured out how to get Windows to install the scanner as well. I hope it will be useful to someone else.

  • CP5225: CP5225 transfer Kit

Hi, do the whole kit CP5225 require the transfer of images? the user manual does not list all but a few website says it's http://www.printertechs.com/other-instructions/104-replacing-transfer-belts-itb-transfer-kit-hp-colo...

    Thank you

In your machine that the imaging drums are integrated in each toner cartridge some machines have them as a separate unit.

Toner is transferred to the belt battery to form the image, and then the entire image is transferred to the paper.

It is interesting that the supply on this machine status page does not list the transfer belt, if HP does not think it would wear out they would not have done it and replaceable by the user.

  • New memory space

Sounds ridiculous (because I lost the instructions for my Fuze), but all the memory is exhausted and I have a 2 GB memory card.

I have inserted into the drive and it does not give me more storage memory?

    What should I do?

    Thank you!

Looks like you can wait for the internal memory size to increase by adding a memory card - it will not. Internal and external memory will appear as 2 separate units if you look in the file Explorer when the drive is connected to the computer.

  • Add music to MicroSD

I got the freebie MicroSD card, and music is not just the stuff I normally listen to.  How to remove music that accompanies it and add my own?  (Idea... Use the detachable stand for Christmas music!)  If I look in the Explorer, I see the Sansa Fuze 8 GB and a folder named MSC.  The record shows no content, even if I know that the songs were there when I listened to the "rocket".

Also Windows Media Player displays not only any content on the map.  In addition, the only option I see is internal memory synchronization.

I have Windows XP and Windows Media Player 11.

WIMP 11 is fun, because many things is hidden from obvious view.  With the trendy "rocket" and the SD card mounted, click the Sync tab.

If he recognizes the card, you will see a button available: next device > click on that, and however it still shows a rocket icon, note that your ability will change the map is recognized as a separate unit.

You can now delete or add data to the card, to and from your library at will.  Cool, huh?

  • Richard & update questions about the Pavilion M8407

I just put in an order for a Pavilion M8407C PC.  I ordered the PC because it is a quad-core, running a 64 bit OS and the price was so right.  I am interested in building a box fairly high-end at about 6 to 9 months, but need something now because my box 5 years just has no power for my applications anymore.

I'll use it for modeling 3D and 3D engineering applications in the short term, and it will become a long term rendering area.

    Issues related to the:

    (1) the PC has 4 GB or RAM of 1 Gb Simms.  I'll upgrade to 8 GB, he would like to know if it is able to use 16Gb.  The OS is Vista Home Premium - is limited to 8 GB or 16 GB?  Is the limit of the 'House' or 'premium '?

    (2) the PC contains 2 360 GB drives.  Are they "RAID" ed or only 2 separate units (master & slave)?  All programs would be installed on a disk or both?  The second disk can be replaced with a larger without any OS or system of the impact?

    (3) how can be upgraded on the PC?  The operating system at any time will stop working because too many things have changed from the original HP Setup?

Thanks for the review - I'm pretty comfortable with a screwdriver and have been building my own boxes, I'm not too familiar with the way in which 'Tier 1' PCs are set up.

    See you soon...

For someone who cares, I have rebuilt the box and here are the answers to my previous questions...

    (1) limit of motherboard memory is 8 GB.

    (2) the 2 360 GB disks are not attacked.  disk 1 is the 'OS' and 'HP install' backup and the second disc is empty.  This is ideal, because all OS and programs can be installed on the operating system drive, and the second player can be offered for data.  Easy for backups.

    (3) I have considerably improved the system.  You cannot change the motherboard, that would invalidate the Windows operating system installation.  MS wrote on OEM computers, changing motherboards is paramount to junking the old computer and requires a new purchase of OS.  I think they make exceptions for warranty cards mothers replacement - better double-check.

    I've updated...

    (A) memory.  Replaced the 4 GB (1 GB simms) with 8 GB (2 GB simms).  Simms spare parts become old.

    (B) added a 1 TB drive.  The chassis has room for 2 hard drives.  I added the third disc to his empty home of 5.25 "under the DVD drive.  I had to use a kit of adaptation and screws washers to fix the kit on the sides split to create a good grip.

    (C) replace the video card.  The NVidia 8500GT has of one taken DVI and HDMI output.  I couldn't get a good Monitor 2 out of it, because my monitors have entered VGA only.  In addition, I wanted a 1 GB of memory on the card as the programs I run use large textures so need more video of 512 MB of ram.  Replaced the with a NVidia GTS250 1 GB 8500GT.

    (D) the updates above, especialy video card, required a higher power supply.  I replaced the original 300W with a 650W unit.

    (E) the M8407C system comes with a slot to accept a "HP Personal Media Drive" unit.  Recently, I received an email from Best Buy, which featured a HP Personal Media Drive unites 750 GB on sale for CAD$ 110.  Sold. Removable data backup unit.

To summarize, for a total investment of just under $ 1100, I created a Quad Core, 8 GB ram, disk hard system of 2.4 to pushing the 2 monitors.  The goal was to build a system capable of modeling 3D and animation for cheaper than buying the parts off the shelf.  I saved CAD $700 and have spare parts to help build a render region.

  • Must configure WAG54GS as static IP of no. - NAT router

I have a WAG54GS and I also have a Linksys firewall device, separate units.

My PC are behind the Linksys firewall that has a port WAN1 allowing plug a router device.

Currently the WAG54GS is factory with NAT and active firewall settings.

I want to use this device as a router with phew tirned NAT and firewall disabled and LAN IP even as the WAN IP routers.

Having a hard time trying to figure out how to proceed.

Following the basic guide of Linksys, but this doesn't seem to work.

I have 8 account no. - NAT IP

Have configured article RFC 1483 routed and changed routers LAN IP to match the WAN IP routers.

But it doesn't seem to work.

The Linksys firewall is everything is OK, as I have here another Zyxel router configured the same way and that working with the firewall OK.

Anyone know if it is actually possible to do it on this model or not.

Also it doesn't seem to be anywhere in the connection user name and the password under the RFC 1483 screen, someone knows why this is? all other routers I have sections to enter the user name and password even on static connections.

All in all it looks like a bit of a strange fish

    > However, in this case, your ISP must automatically assign the correct static IP address based on the user name > and password. For example, to configure PPPoA with your user name and password and check whether it connects or not and > what you get the IP address. If it works properly you can use. If it does not work or does not connect, then you cannot use > the WAG.

Well well... waddyah know, it works!  Why can't I thought... especially because I followed the advice on the website.

They should update for customers in the United Kingdom may be...

Thanks a lot again once, configure everything and work a treat!

  • SideWinder force feedback wheel

A Windows 7 driver is available for the SideWinder?

Ah! Wheels... (it's in the title, but I was thinking when posting ;)) controller
It reminds me of. I had a Sidewinder Wheel no pedals that I took from the local Tip (dump)
Shop and has never been able to use/experience with it due to no Win7 drivers.
Little solid gear.  Made to last, and I have no doubt that it would have been still works well if
pilots were available.  Just glad I paid just a few dollars for it.

Depends on your needs / expectations.
You probably read some reviews for wheels in your budget.

Everything is currently on sale would be not compatible with Win7, as well as others of the
not-too-distant past, such as the Logitech MOMO.
You can find second hand flying MOMO, G25 and G27.
With other wheels of the era XP you want to do a search for drivers for this brand
and the model before you buy the property.  The link below has a review of some of the wheels currently
    available.

    http://gaming-steering-wheel-review.TopTenReviews.com/

There are other wheels enthusiast of high-end more expensive as the Thrustmaster T500 and
the Fantec.  FANTEC have a separate unit from the base and a selection of bolt on wheels.
-The prices on the website below would be higher in America Nth-
    http://www.pagnianimports.com.au/racing-wheels-accessories/PC-racing-wheels.html

I used a Logitech MOMO for a couple of years, but came across a super special, less than half
price ($150 AUD - normally $350 + here in Oz) Logitech G27 from a local retailer a year ago.
The G27 is very nice, but it has only two frames requiring no bolting through the table/desk
and need the extra support if you get excitable and pull on the wheel, as I tend to do.
My Office PC is such that I was able to drill the hole for the bolts and have the wheel
in a good position, other than to be a bit more tedious to install is not a problem.
It takes some time and can be a bit frustrating, to calibrate the wheel initially according to your
    style and games.
There are a number of fan sites dealing with changing Logetech wheels as well.
