Separating dark head from the bottom dark when there is no edge;

I have two things to this image that I would like to improve / play with / learn.

-the top of her black hair blends into the background.   Is there something I can try to improve this distinction?

-J' managed to lower the 'hotness/brightness' of his shirt, but I want to reduce brightness hotness from the white foreground further - the tableclothe especially, and perhaps her white forearms.  I tried the tool selection fast, but even if it seems to select the correct area, when I go to adjust the brightness or contrast, the area that changes is not in the foreground, but the sweater full that I don't want everything dark.   Suggestions for what to try?  I am very new to this detailed information would be helpful, thanks.Screen Shot 2013-07-20 at 8.31.01 PM.png

  • Your areas of semi-transparent selection very unlikely selection. You could check that by displaying the current selection mode quick mask or activate the channel corresponding in the palette layers. Based on your screenshot, that no one can say exactly what it looks like, but you need to loook into that and adjust your settings, use the different methods of selection and so forth.
  • Brightness / contrast is an inadequate adjustment. You always have color in fabric of your shirt and table and simply cranking up the brightness globalyl eradicate every detail. Use levels, curves and color balance adjustments or simply Desaturate whites to remove blue-ish tones.
  • That said, as far as the computer is concerned, white is white. Where no details were recorded, none will appear. You will not be able to recover any information in the areas of breath that already screaming white. You killed them with flash.

The same as your other question - you need equalize the overall contrast. There is enough distinction to create a quick selection, for example with the magnetic lasso and slightly lighten the foreground with adjustments, using the color dodge / burn tools to improve details in the selection or duplicate the layer and mask it with the selction then usie modes with twisted fusion opacity... Conversely, you can also get a better picture to desaturate the background so that the dark and disturbing yellow-ish tones are subject.

    The code is located on a label and is a 25-digit alpha-numeric (and very hard to read) code separated into 5 groups of 5 numbers separated by dashes.  If you can't find it on the bottom of your laptop, open the battery housing and remove the battery and look there - I know of cases where this is where it was placed.

    If you can't find the product key, your only choice is to contact the manufacturer and see if they can help.  Sometimes the relocations made with recovery disks don't need to be activated (depends on the manufacturer and their recovery process must ask them and confirm before you spend money on the recovery discs).  A valid product key is required for activation if activation is required - there is no way around this problem.  And in case you are considering on it, you can't switch from one product not enabled - you need to do a clean and complete installation (update disc will not work).

    I stumbled by chance on this post and I'm able to help. I had the same problem last week, Secure Boot in gray in the BIOS. The solution that worked for me was to restore the keys to factory default (or something similar). This is done in the same menu where you can enable/disable Secure Boot. As soon as I clicked on that, Secure Boot is clickable and I could allow it. Hope that helps.

    It's a matter of Windows not a question of IE.  However, FWIW, what I would do is disable Auto-Hide, and then use the menu item move the taskbar, for example Alt-space, M and then do a few movements of the cursor to see where you can get it at.   That's actually what I did in XP.  I am now on W7 and apparently this Alt-space, M thing does not work here.  In W7 they apparently now actually do less esoteric function, for example, there is an explicit option for this in the taskbar properties dialog box.  Who would have thought?  I don't know what the State of this feature in Vista.   Try both?   ; )

    First, make sure the taskbar don't are not "locked"...
    Right-click on an open space of the taskbar > make sure there is no checkmark at "lock the taskbar".

    Now, make a left click inside of a space open to the taskbar and HOLD > drag the slider down until he goes back down > drop PREY > lock the taskbar. For the benefits of others looking for answers, please mark as answer suggestion if it solves your problem.

    If you mean that the taskbar, click with the right button on the taskbar and uncheck lock taskbar.

    Use the left mouse button to drag the taskbar to the side of the screen where you want to move and then block new taskbar.

    You will need to either buy a version authentic retail Windows XP, with its key sales, to a true scource or visit the site of laptop manufacturers, support for your model and see what versions of win are taken care of, then buy a commercial version of this o/s.

    The key on the base of the laptop is the recovery key that requires that the recovery disks provided by the manufacturer.

    You could phone manufacturers to support to see if they have the origonal recovery cd send you, for which it maybe a small fee.

    GUYS, I GOT IT. AND THE SOLUTION IS WAYYYYY WITH JUST A RENDERING. So after countless time I spent trying to make it, I found a way that me really happy that my old rendering has not worked. All you have to do is download adobe media encoder and BAM your gold. I make it in h.264 that i couldt using the old rendering and now it works fine.
