I just bought a new sealed factory, the R6300v2 in-the-box router and when I try to save it, the message "this serial number has already been registered in our system by a technical support representative." The purchase was via (graduates by) Amazon Prime. How is this serial number is already registered?

so, looking at my products on my netgear account, I see the router listed with s/n, I tried to write. You know not who/why/when/how the product has been registered, but apparently not of course as it was recorded while I did the initial installation, but maybe it was.
