  Today, I went from 12 elements of Photoshop and first elements 12 tries at versions purchased in a box that came with two installation disks. One of the drives was of 12 items of Photoshop and elements 12 Windows first and the other of these versions on Mac.

  On the desktop Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit, I was struck with the wrong serial number for Photoshop elements 12 installation I did first. Tried 4 x, double and triple checking for you sure this wasn't 'user error '. It was not the case. The 5th test, purchased serial number was accepted and the installation went to a success.

  Tonight a friend alerted me to similar reports occurs for many users of Photoshop Elements Mac 12. See the link at the top of my post.

  At no time see this problem with the installation of first elements 12 from the same disc with respect to the installation of 12 Photoshop elements.

  Subsequently, I installed these programs with the same installation disc on my laptop 8 64-bit Windows, I have no problems with the installation.

  For now, I don't know if this incorrect serial number is elusive to 12 items in Photoshop or not.

  If someone experiences this problem with Premiere Elements, please let us know.

  I wouldn't say that it is a general scenario but yes, it would be the first check/solution to win at least.

  For Mac, if all goes well to avoid all the problems more because the fix has already been taken to our end.

  I'm having a hard time getting a serial number for Adobe Acrobat Pro XI.  I bought a package in a box from a local retailer.  Inside the box is a redemption that code by entering, a serial number is supposed to be generated.  I made sure to be careful of one and zeroes, not the confused for 'I's and s 'o'.  Entering the Red/Cd, I get a message that the retailer has not enabled the purchase of the software.  I go back to the dealer, tell them my problem and they exchange my s/w for a new box.  I'm going home and the same problem occurs.  My question: has Adobe changed the process of obtaining a serial number for a purchase of software in a box?  It's quite frustrating.  I don't understand why Adobe have a process for obtaining a serial number of legitimately purchased software that does not work.  Any help would be appreciated.  Please forgive me if I posted this in the wrong forum.

  Support from Adobe: "you cannot use the redemption code, must be redeemed by us."  They manipulated the redemption code, serial number recovery and registration of the product during my chat session.  I asked the question what is the purpose of providing that a closed redemption code and this question remained unanswered.  At the end of the day, I was able to get my serial number and activate the software.

  I finally (after 5 attempts) through the swamp on the other side.

  Here's what I did...

  1 uninstalled all of the CS4 program.

  2. manually deleted the folder under Program Files Adobe

  3. Ran the CleanCS4 program, who told me that I had to run microsoft windows install clean up utility

  4. has opened a new Director on my office profile

  5 install CS4 here

  6 open photoshop

  7 open acrobat.

  (I think that's everything now works).

  Hey guys, I am looking for my 'series of 16 digit number' my WiFi Xoom. Currently, I don't have it with me, but will be tomorrow afternoon. I though the WiFi Mac address and the protector of cover back when I bought the Xoom that has three barcode on it and a few sets of numbers. I need to get this fast number, but I don't know which is the real 'serial number '. Served from Motorola and repair space requires the Mac address, serial number, only problem I thought, this is 12 digits, not 16. I also the box here also, with bar codes and the numbers on the side as well.

  Is there anywhere not on the Xoom, which has the series 16-digit number? Or am I to combine some of the channels of this numbers 16-digit number? I have my doubts, but I thought I'd ask.

  If something is listed for your purchase on www.adobe.com , the issue could be a problem with licenses or the app Manager CC data stored on your local computer, whatever done PS - CC think he needs a serial number, and probably a technical support person to connect remotely and hack something to get PS - CC to understand you are allowed.  Logging usually outside and in the CC Manager is enough to have the Manager CC rescan and figure things, but usually happens in cases where a serial number is not required for the app Manager CC does not see that the PS is allowed.

  Another idea is that perhaps the type of purchase, you did through DigitalRiver has a sort of serial number associated with that would be included in a letter of confirmation of the order, to verify all e-mails or digital recipes that you received during the order process to see if a serial number is listed.

  Finally, where do you have the PS - CC version you have installed?  If it wasn't in the either a button in the application of CC-Manager or an icon on the creative.adobe.com pages, then it may be the wrong version, and the fix would be to uninstall what you have and download and install the version CC-Manager/creation, and it might be useful to do, anyway, even if you don't think that you have installed the correct version in case something does not quite work in the first installation.  I don't know if your European location would cause the wrong version to download.
