  I discovered how to do this after much trial and error.
  The solution is quite simple. Insert your MS Office 2003 disk in drive D.
  Go right out of "Programs" click on DVD RW Drive D. click on 'install '.
  It worked for me. It actually installed everything fine without even asking for the product key.

  N ° it applies only to the version you have purchased. You would need to buy the old version if you can find a legitimate copy (which may be questionable).

  There is no download available for version 3 I know - version 9 is the most ancient available offered by Adobe.  Serial numbers are valid only for the version that they were purchased for.
