  I was an IT Help Desk for many years and know my way around a computer, generally speaking. I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite running Vista.

  W Hat has happened, is that my taskbar is bigger that we shouldn't. Normally the task bars are fixed at about 1/4 inch in height, but mine is a good half inch. I can do more great by dragging the double arrow, but this method does not work to do if the shorter.  When I select "auto hide", it will disappear, but he returned to the screen in a minute or two.   I reinstalled my laptop from scratch, then installed 5 Lightroom demo. The installation program went through the cloud tool adobe creative (was not like this before), I got 5.5 LR

  Then I tried to activate it using the serial number that i' will had for awhile now and it is rejected as invalid. It's the same SN I used shaved, and it's the same thing I see when I check my account information on the Adobe website. I made sure that it was not a typo.

  Looks like you have not NI-VISA on the work computer. Try installing with the Manager of cable and you should be good to go. You can get the latest version of NI-VISA here.

  You could deal with this issue when the User Account Control (UAC) is turned off or because of the cache of Windows Store.

  It was a mistake to boot! An event of default would erase the name of task... it's the same for another sub - VI for other tasks so I'm not that. But it works now that I've totally simplified the Subvi. Two other people have worked on it in front of me (newbees) so I have a lot of cleaning up to do.

  I tried to disable the firewall, but this does not solve the problem. I do not have antivirus software installed so that either cannot interfere.

  When I wrote my first question I had difficulties to access weather data and wildlife in every web browser I've used. For example, I tried to download the software from the download page of W & W and in Explorer, it would get a page that says "Cannot display Page". Other browsers had other types of errors. Finally, the company sent me a file of the program that I installed but then when I entered the serial number, I would get the message "the underlying connection was closed unexpectedly.
  This morning I tried again to download the program from the W & W page and also to enter my serial number for the installed program and it seems that the W & W database is connected successfully, but now I get a message saying that the serial number is invalid (which is certainly not the case).
  Since for some unknown reason the databased WW can now access my computer I have now will contact the company to see why my serial number is rejected.

  Im having a problem with my gf laptop and im don't know that if it's a hardware or driver problem... maybe the mobo/gpu is out or already gone? IM really not sure but here is a picture of what looks like the screen on startup...

  If the external monitor works fine... we have a bad display... but there are 2 components that can go wrong in the display configuration, the inverter or the display itself... the only way you can find out who is in replacement of the inverter with good known... from the image you posted, for me it most resembles the inverter is the problem task...
