  I have searched through the forums to see if anyone has experienced this before, and it seems that people have but solved the problem in a few simple steps. I tried as well.
  Here's the question (on Windows 7 64-bit):
  Window "think" there is a second monitor attached to him off to the right.
  I go to my properties of screen resolution and it shows only one display.
  However, I can leave my mouse to the right and see that it continue.
  It's as if he thinks there is a second monitor attached.
  This causes problems with my colors and Aero.
  Windows is stuck in 16 bits, even if all my properties all are set to "true color (32 bit)".
  I ran solve them problems with transparency and other Aero effects Wizard and he returned with two questions:
  1 color depth is set too low (once again I looked at all the properties everywhere and they are set to 32)
  2 desktop Window Manager is disabled (looked in windows services and is being run/auto start)
  I started in safe mode and reinstalled my drivers (Intel HD3000) graphics card
  Any help would be great as using 16-bit icons in all my applications is terrible.

  Very well... Figured it out.

  Start > Device Manager > graphics cards
  I saw there are a few things in here, one being "Air Display Adapter.
  Air is an application that allows you to use your iPad as a second monitor.
  I right click on it, click 'disable' and restarted. Everything is good in the world.
  According to me, the issue was the last round of Windows updates to update my video card drivers and Air screen only plays nice with drivers updated.

  I managed to set my main screen for a second non-existent monitor.  When I start my PC, the "secondary" monitor is the external monitor only connected to the PC, but the main office is LEFT more non-existent "primary" monitor (all my icons and the start menu are there as well - but I can't get to one of them).  If I right click on desktop to the secondary monitor (the monitor physical only), I can click on 'settings', but I only get the hourglass, which disappears after a few moments.  I presume that the video display settings applet opens on the primary monitor does not exist, but I can't seem to him.  I spent some time trying to 'capture' and move, but it's just frustrating and useless unfortunately.  Now...  I start in safe mode and go into the video settings, but there is no option for a second monitor.   1. can I plug a second monitor? I can't because there is no other VGA connector on the machine, but there is a header on the System Board - however, it is disabled in the BIOS...
  2. don't reset the BIOS?  I did, I have reset several times, and there is no effect.
  3. do I tried another monitor to rule out the possibility of H/W failure any?  I have and get the same results.

  Is there a way to simply put the display back set to 'normal '?  Unfortunately, without a solution for this, the machine useless.  I'm puzzled.

• I think that there is a bug in the function RT Set CPU pool assignments (SMP)

  I'm trying to configure Symmetric multi Processing on a PXI controller which has 2 CPUs.  I check the number of processors using RT get number of processors (it gives me 2).  I have a constant matrix of wire to the RT Set CPU pool allocations function and create an array of 2 elements with system and reserved as the two values (to assign a single processor for my timed loop and the other for "everything else").

  It works, which means it seems to do the assignment.  But if I look at the assignments of Pool Set CPU error line, it returns-2231, "invalid CPU pool settings. Each pool must contain at least 1 CPU. »

  I do not know what that means, or why I am getting the error (I might just "ignore it", but if the error is 'real', which is not supposed to do).  The entrance to the Pool Set CPU assignment is described in the documentation as "an array of enumerations, with an entry for each CPU.  For me, this means 2 entries, which is what I have.

  Does anyone have a rational explanation of what's going on?  Is this a bug?  The documentation is the problem?  I have attached the front (showing the number of processors and the error output) and the (very simple) block diagram.

  I reread carefully the Note help "Specifies the Set of processors available for automatic load balancing".  Now that I know the 'right answer', I can interpret what is written as planned, but it's not easy!

  It is also curious that, although the previous example has generated error-2231, if we deleted the error (or wired never error line), function has, in fact, affect the system and Timed Structures pool to CPU0 (I have a few 'real' testing code that shows CPU0 with Structures Timed cycles).  Given that the function "does the right thing" even if you specify parameters of 'bad', perhaps it should be treated as a warning, not an error (or otherwise make a mistake of 'real' not assigned to a pool - it also wouldn't hurt to have a less obscure the Error Message, or more explicit "be sure to have at least a CPU explicitly assigned to each system and Timed Structures pools") , maybe in "BOLD".

  I am currently working on the implementation of a temperature regulator using a distributed seller USB driver.  I spent the last three weeks, this troubleshooting error:

  I suffered from seemingly random and intermittent communication problems in communications instrument USB as well. In a particular case, it is with a USB device of NOR. The problem actually proved to be the USB cable to the device. Someone had replaced the original OR with a less robust cable cable. Cable OR original had a Pearl of ferrite at one end to help the noise to remove. The replacement cable is not. Once I changed to cable OR origin, intermittent problems went away. I don't know if this is your problem, but a good cable USB makes all the difference in this application.

• After I upgraded to windows vista 32 bit to windows 7 Ultimate edition 32 bit, I can't run 3D games, saying that there is no video on my computer card.

  I have check the dxdiag and found at the Directdraw, Direct3D and the AGP is not accelerated. And there is no button or option for me to activate one of them. I remember once I installed the suite ati catalyst, I couldn't find in the program file. my graphics card is ATI Radeon Xpress 200, and the installed DirectX is version 11.

  Please activate the Direct3D acceleration. You can do this by starting dxdiag and allowing the Direct3D acceleration in the name1/2 after installing DirectX 8. 1 b (or later version) and the latest drivers for your graphics card.
