Series 5300 MCUS are supported by the flexible port configuration?

Hi all

I could not find a guide to the administrator or something for the MCU5300 series. I want to learn if the ports are flexible or not. You know that it supports up to ports 20HD or 40SD. Is it possible to make this support 10HD and 20 ports SD at the same time as Polycom RMXes? Or do I have to choose a mode (HD or SD) and to use them only in this mode?

Best regards

Chambers oumar

From what I understand, it is the characteristics of the MSE8510 in a standalone MCU.

On the MSE8510 is not possible, then I say:

No, it is not possible to have a flexible port configuration.

So yes, it is a fixed parameter.

Here, some more old, posting on the MSE8510:

  • Cryptographic cards are allowed on the Ethernet ports

I want to set up encryption between E0 on RouterA and E0 on RouterB. Is this possible?

RouterA and RouterB are related through the ports series (T1) or dial-up connections (ISDN, POTS) and are never on the same ethernet connection.

Intermediate links between RouterA and RouterB change regularly and frequently in my portable environment.

When I apply a cryptographic card to an ethernet port, it seems to crash the router, part of the traffic goes thru, but I lose telnet.

    I use 2520 s and 4500's

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

Mark Matthias CCNA, CNA, CNE, MCP

The card encryption should be applied to the port outgoing (port facing the other peer router). You apply the encryption card to T1 and ISDN/POTS interfaces and define your ACL crypto to encrypt traffic between subnets ethernet.

  • The KVM Port configuration series B

    Hello team,

Is it possible to change the KVM Port for servers UCS B-Series?

I used WireShark to check that access KVM for B-Series use the same default port as UCS C-Series (2068).  I found the instructions for changing port KVM for C-series.  However, I have found no documentation on the change of this value for B-Series.

The CLI of the UCS, I tried searching orders local-mgmt thus brought to the system, fabric interconnects and individual blades, but I still could not find something.

    Thank you

    Trevor

    Trevor,

Given that the KVM is NAT would be through the management interface of the FIs, we do not allow the port to change on the B series.

    Kind regards

  • Data NMEA which are received on the serial port, when the system starts causes windows 7 to interpret these data as a serial ballpoint mouse and moves the cursor jumping around.

I know this question was asked several times before, but the solutions proposed, such as changin the registry does not help. It changes by itself. In the configuration that I have in my boat, the stream of NMEA data is directly injected into the COM port so no driver is necessary. It's a problem easily solved in windows XP, why is it so difficult in W7? There must be a way to permanently disable the plug-and-play driver load. I found this program that works only for Vista, if I understand correctly: http://www.stentec.com/en/download-freeware COM port plug & play blocker. If something similar could be provided by MS for W7, it would be very good...

It turns out that the program at the port of Stentec COM (freeware) http://www.stentec.com/en/download-freeware care & play blocker, also works in W7. I don't know how it works, but it does, and it's good for me! It also works for the virtual serial ports.

  • DataGuard problems, bad to the log_archive_dest_2 port configuration

Hello! Thank you all in advance for your help and sorry for my English, I will try to explain as best as possible.

    We have a dataguard.

It has two headphones, the ports are 1534 and 1544, but... someone changed their 1535 once there is and now I had to re-set up everything again.

The thing is log_archive_dest_2 at the elementary level is wrong, because it points to instead of 1534-1535. I tried to edit init.ora and restart the instance but it always points to 1535 again.

I don't know if this setting depends on the other, or there is a hidden configuration, I don't see

I have recreated the password file in the primary and copy it to the secondary, after that I restarted both cases, but nothing

No sense to me. Do you have a rebuild on my system and was not able to reproduce.

At this point, I would like to grep for the problem (change of wider path if necessary)

    grep 1535 -R /opt/oracle/*

I hate when it makes no sense. There must be somewhere.

I was thinking about it more. If you have a data broker, they can change the database settings. Any change of this?

I see this in your settings file that supports this theory

    *.dg_broker_start=TRUE

Any set of values in Data Guard Broker wins the spfile parameter. So no matter what you the SPFILE and PFILE broker file overwrites.

  • This replacement of hard drives are supported by the Satellite P30?

    Hello
My P30 came with a HARD disk that rotates at 4500 rpm of 80 GB. I really need a floppy that can write and access data fast enough for video editing (rendered) and multi track audio recording.

Are there alternative products that can improve the performance of my computer? I have already ordered 2 GB of RAM.
Would a Hitachi Travelstar 7K 100 works with my device?

I guess you mean the Hitachi Travelstar 7K 100 100 GB drive HARD 7200 RPM 8 MB cache 2, drive HARD 5Zoll.
I think you can use the HARD disk with the following properties:

    hard drive 9.5 mm with capacity 30 GB/40 GB/60 GB / 80 / 100GB / 120GB
    Bus Master IDE
    Support 100 synchronous DMA Ultra

Disk HARD 7200prm will produce more heat but perhaps the laptop could handle this. Otherwise you will get some overheating shutdown downs.

  • Not ReiserFS are supported on the Toshiba NB100

    Hello world

    I recently had a new Toshiba NB100 (netbook) with Ubuntu installed Remix (hardy, uname - r = 2.6.24 - 19-lpia).

The problem I have is that it does not support reiserfs volume (disk usb in my case) and I couldn't find the way to solve. The only available with the string 'reiserfs' package is 'reiserfsprogs' (already installed).

I realized that resierfs module has not yet built on architecture 'lpia '.

    Is this correct? Any solution?

    Thanks in advance

  • Routers are supported by the Time Machine feature?

    Hello!

I am looking for a router that supports the feature Time Machine for someone else. Now, I know that the Nighthawk R7000 router doing since I was able to find a tutorial on the Internet. The X 6 as R8000 is apparently too much. Is there a list that shows all routers compatible with Time Machine or do I really get random routers and check their manuals to determine if they support Time Machine? No doubt the right of the latter?

    Thank you very much!

    Benjamin

    Hi @Chosenusername

    Welcome to the community!

Most of the newer model will support this feature, but it is also best to check their precision manuals.

    Thank you!

  • What features are supported on the OS 4.0 browser?

I'm just starting development of web pages on the Blackberry platform. Our target more common denominator is OS 4.0.0.160. Can someone point me to a resource documenting the features of the browser of this platform? Supported version support, CSS, DOM scripting/AJAX JS, etc.. I did a search and no success for it.

  • Tecra S1 and drive external hard usb 2.0 are supported in the BACK

I use Norton Ghost 2003 and Maxtor 200 GB USB 2.0 external drive to store my image.

I need boot BACK to start from floppy or cd and recognize my external drive before restoring my image with ghost.

My Tecra S1 use bios 2.40 and my external drive is not recognized under dos.

Other mobile third-party, everything works fine.

In this forum, someone else has the same problem.

    Anyone can help us?

    Thanks in advance

    Gaetan

    Hello

Maybe this helps you, the Tecra S1 has an Intel 855 PM chipset.

If you google around you can find a BACK based USB driver and storage of mass for your chipset.

  • Are the XQuery functions that are supported in the path of a function XMLTable clause?

    Hello

Oracle 11.2, can I use XQuery functions in the path of a function XMLTable clause? I tried, but does not fit any result. Here is an example with and without the function fn:lower-case():

    SQL >
    SELECT EVENT_ID, ACTION
    OF EVENTSCHEMA.event x,.
    XMLTABLE ('/ *' from EVENTXMLTEXT)
    COLUMNS
    PATH varchar (10) ACTION ' / * / action'
    );

    EVENT_ID ACTION
    ------------- -----------
    1000 OBSERVE
    1001 OBSERVE

    SQL >
    SELECT EVENT_ID, ACTION
    OF EVENTSCHEMA.event x,.
    XMLTABLE ('/ *' from EVENTXMLTEXT)
    COLUMNS
    ACTION varchar (10) PATH "fn:lower - case(/*/action)".
    );

    EVENT_ID ACTION
    ------------- -----------
    1000
    1001

At the end of the day, I will generate lines such as

    PATH of char (1) INFERRED ' if (fn:upper - case(/*/cah:extension/cah:inferred) = 'TRUE') then if "t" ElseIf (fn:upper - case(/*/cah:extension/cah:inferred) = 'FALSE') then 'f' not null'.
    PATH of TIMESTAMP BIZTRANSACTIONDATE "fn:adjust - dateTime-to-timezone(/*/cah:extension/cah:bizTransactionDate).

but they also return null. If I remove the XQuery functions in them, they work.

Do you know what could be the problem here?

    Thank you!

  • "Another computer on the network has the same IP address as this computer. Contact you network administrator for help resolving this issue. More details are available in the Windows system event log"

Please, anyone can help as I don't know what to do? I am running Vista to the Windows Welcome page
I am the administrator and I have no other computers attached to my laptop?
I use the same USB port to connect to internet, but recently, I had to try another USB port I get the above error message.
I have no idea how to do to correct the situation and would appreciate guidance step by step.
    Thank you.

    Hi RDCICON,

    1. which device you are connected to the USB port?

    2. you still get the same message when you connect the usb device or use the device on another computer?

    Method 1:

You can try to run the tool built into Vista Network Diagnostics. To do this, click Start, go to network and select network share.

On the left side of the window select the diagnosis and repair.
It should help to find which device is listed with the duplicate IP address.

Method 2: Release and renew the IP address by following these steps.

    a. Click Start. Click Run, type cmd, press ENTER.

    b. at the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER

    ipconfig/release

    ipconfig / renew

    Method 3:

Check and confirm the DHCP client service is started and set to automatic.

If the DHCP client service is not running, then set it to autostart. Steps to set the auto service:

    a. click the Start button

    b. type services.msc in the search box.

    c. search for DHCP client and set it to automatic and make sure that it is started.

    Method 4:

Reset the router and see if the problem persists.

You can refer to the 3mentioned of general troubleshooting method in the following article to reset the router.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/956196#Gm3

You can also see the producers of the router manual or contact support for additional assistance.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Operations supported by the CMIS connector

I was wondering what all the operations defined by CMIS, are supported by the CMIS connector that comes with Drive esp. 2.1 of Windows Explorer. When I right click in Windows Explorer, the player context menu only gives these options - Check, Check, check out Cancel, Show versions and connect to. But the tech note to CMIS connector says that we can even rename a folder, create a new folder (and some more) by selecting options in the context menu. I believe that those who are certainly no options provided by Windows, but should be in the disc menu.

    Some clarification would help greatly.

    Thank you.

    Hello

For the "Rename", "new folder" you mentioned, Adobe Drive indeed is based on the provided context menus explore in Windows and the Mac OS Finder. In addition to these menus, Adobe Reader also supports 'copy', 'paste', 'delete', the contextual menus etc provided by OS.

    Thank you
