Series Toshiba 40RL933G - no subtitles on DLNA without transcoding

Hi guys,.
I have 2 40rl933g TV. I used USB to play any good movies.
I install me a DLNA server, put all the parameters needed, but failed to play subtitles via DLNA without transcoding.

All advice if it is possible to play the media + subtitles via DLNA without having need of transcoding (and use high CPU :))

See you soon
Yasen

Hello

Operating instructions (page 53), you can find this note:

+ To select the subtitle and audio language (* USB ONLY *) press subtitle to select you preferred language subtitles. +

+ Note: this function is not available depending on the content. +

In my opinion, this means that subtitles are available only to play movies from USB device and it also depends on the content you are playing

  • Toshiba 32L4333D mp4 subtitles issue

    Hello everyone!

I just bought this TV and my major disappointment, I discovered there is a problem with the files mp4 video playing actually no subtitles at all of my USB. Avi & mkv files play fine although the conversion of all the movies in a different format or using embedded subtitles isn't really a sollution for me.

The question is like the one I found here: http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=76798&tstart=0

Also note: the question has not to do with no any utf8 and notepad ++ record as the subtitle is not loaded at all.

    Anyone have a proposal?
I got very frustrated with this problem and I even plan to return the tv back unless I found a way...

Edit: Mentions Toshiba Greece in a facebook post that srt files are not taken in charge atm and "sub - .smi - .ssa." might work, but I also have tryied all of them using subtitle workshop without success... :(

It is really strange. I have two Toshiba TV and there is no problem with reading the subtitles.
In my case, each film is saved in a folder with srt (subtitle) file. SRT file must have exactly the same name as the avi file.

When I run the USB stick film began and subtitle will display correctly. the same thing happens when I do that on PC using VLC player.

  • Toshiba TL 938G - application remote dlna and toshiba problem

I try to use the remote control feature and toshiba dlna app, but I can't when the TV is connected to the network via wifi.

If I connect wired lan and pc or androind tv phone WiFi then everything is ok.
I have tryied three different routers, but if all devices are connected wireless is not possible.

I can use the dlna via wifi from my phone to the pc.

The problem is with toshiba tl938g.
The tv connects via wifi takes ip address normally and I use toshiba places without problem.

I assume you mean on Intel WiDi because I found your other son on the Intel WiDi.

You can use only one WLan connection at the same time.
As far as I know that if you are already connected to the network using the wireless network card, you can not use WiFi to connect the mobile phone.

So if you want to connect via Intel WiDi TV mobile phones you have to unplug the TV from the router.

  • Series Toshiba ME - cannot reinstall

Hello to you all, Experts from Toshiba!

I hope I am on the right Forum, if not, someone will probablt have let me know!
My problem (like any other person, I have one), is that my laptop Toshiba ME series seems to be dead!
All of a sudden when I start it, it just said "MISSING SYSTEM"...!
Now, I had all sorts of messages and warnings over the years, but this one was new!
I thought - never mind, pull out the 'drive to install XPPro"and reinstall the system then spend a few weeks to update etc... !
PROBLEM... Opens the CD-ROM, the CD-Rom gets implemented, closed - and then starts with a few rounds and then more NOTHING...!
In other words, the CD-Rom drive will not open disk - so I can't re - install!
I have a set of emergency "floppy" who say they will reinstall WIN XP (6 floppies in all) - but at the end of the procedure, he told me to put the CD in - which, of course, does not work!

The PC IS old, almost as old as me, but I'm Scottish and I do not throw anything!
At the top of which, I tried to get a newer laptop, but I live in France, and so far I could not find someone (DELL included International) who can sell me a new one with a ' QWERTY '!
They've all got keyboard "AZERTY" practicing, and I'm too old to learn to type again!
-What is the advice of the masters of Toshiba and assistants there - turn on - HELP!
Thank you ALL - in advance!

    Hey,.

I searched a bit using Google and I can't find any information about ME series.

You can check the model number on the lower side again, please?
Also look for the exact model name.

I found a thread that describes a very similar TV acoustic behavior:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=70847

It seems that the Dynamic Volume is enabled in the settings of your TV.

+ Audyssey Dynamic volume® control volume levels in order to eliminate the strong points and lift the soft dialogue for film and television more enjoyable viewing. +
+ In the sound menu, press up or down to select Dynamic Volume. +
+ Press left or right to select On or off.

Check it out. Maybe it helps.

  • Toshiba 40RL933G: software to manage movie on Win 7 PC files

    Hi all.

I am looking for another software than the Windows Media Player to manage my movies on my pc.

    Reason:
Sometimes I copy a new film in movie library, or I add a new folder to the library and media Player does not index them. ->, I do not see the new movies in the libraty and so I can't go to my toshiba TV and watch the movie with the network of media Player that is built into the TV.

Some movies I can see at the end of a few seconds or say in the Media Player "are seeking changes in the news media" then I see new films in the library as well as on the tv when I opened the network folder on my TV. But some movies do not appear even after hours of waitung.

When I remove the database of media player and rebulid them, for the most part it works and I see all the movies, but it takes each time 30 to 40 minutes.

I am therefore looking for a media player such as Windows Media Player, which can handle this better.

I have a Toshiba TV and a Windows 7 PC with Media Player 12.0.7601.18150 40RL933G.

    thany for your help.

    Hello

I recommend checking the VLC media player
VLC media player can be used as a server and a client to transmit and receive network streams. VLC is able to stream all that he can read.

XBMC 13.0 Open Source Media player is also great tool

  • Help: the Toshiba Bluetooth SD Card 3 is without work...

    Thank you for looking.
My laptop model is Satellite 5200 with SD slot, but the it does not work, I doubt that it is the problem of the SDIO. But the toshiba bluetooth Information Center said 5200 supports BlueTooth SD card 2, Hmm. in addition, I've updated all the software and the drive that relate with Solt SD and Bluetooth. Help, please.

    Hello

Well, I'm not very familiar with this series of satellites but I'm sure that you will find useful information in the user manual which SD cards are supported.
But in my opinion the unit doesn t supports Bluetooth SD I/o cards.

    Good bye

  • Series 2 GPS mapping works is not without an iPhone?

I tried run/walk with the following applications without my iPhone, but they don't display any map of my route in activity CA. seems like it should always be attached to the phone to follow?

    • RunKeeper
    • Apple training app (run/walk in the open air)
    • Runtastic

Y at - it a setting that I need to install or configure on the watch or the phone?

I sometimes test by putting my phone in airplane so my watch mode is on its own, but it still doesn't seem to work.

At this stage there is no 3rd party apps that have access to the mapping feature. Only the application of the workout gives you a map.

That said, when you did the run/walk outdoors with your phone in airplane mode did you your watch out of airplane mode? When you put the phone in airplane mode, it should automatically put the watch in airplane mode as well. I ask because that how to turn off the GPS as well in airplane mode. And of course if the GPS is off you would not get the plan...

  • Series Toshiba NB - screen Creek

    Hey all,.

Unfortunately my beloved netbook has acquired a Creek right about here <^^>screen >
Toshiba will be able to replace it? Nobody knows what kind of policies they have?

I doubt that Toshiba or any laptop computer manufacturer would cover a screen crack under warranty. The standard warranty covers only manufacturing defects, not accidental damage.

I think that LCD screens are cheap anyway, so I send it to a Toshiba Service Center and get a quote. There is a list ASP on the Toshiba site in the support section.

  • DLNA without IPv6

I would like to send pictures of my computer Windows 7 Home Premium to the "Smart TV", through our wireless network. I've already sent some of my Android phone.

I understand Windows media server systems do with homegroup and homegroup requires IPv6. Unfortunately my router modem does not supports IPv6. I asked questions earlier about access to other computers on the network without Win7 Homegroup.

How do with Win7 without IPv6 and homegroup?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello

  • Consolidation of project without transcoding

So, it seems that Adobe has removed one of the most basic features of the post production pipeline - consolidate the sequences with handles WITHOUT him having to transcode.

So as an example to say, I have a 1 hour long interview in ProRes HQ I cut 3 small snippets to use in a teaser. I used to be able to "Collect files and copy to the new location" and then add my handles say 24 images for example (see below).

    Screen Shot 2015-09-11 at 11.46.37 am.png

Then I 3 clips of ProRes HQ with handles that I could send for the classification.

But now I don't have the option to move the whole clip 1 hour to a new location or adjust but I have to transcode the images and does not even have the option to transcode to ProRes HQ in any case.

    Screen Shot 2015-09-11 at 11.22.48 am.png

Obviously for the ranking, I want to give them the highest quality file but do not see how I can do now.

Spoke of 'support' and the guy told me to install the old version of first instead so I could do it. I can not believe this is their solution to the problem.

    Can someone help me out?

    See you soon

    Hello Joel,

now, I don't have the option to move the whole clip 1 hour to a new location or adjust but I have to transcode the images

As I understand it, the film has no effect applied, ProRes is smart rendered so there is no loss in the transcoding process.

and do not even have the option to transcode to ProRes HQ anyway. See you soon

You can import a preset SOUL or create an and import it.

    Thank you

    Kevin

  • Toshiba 46TL938G DLNA servers subtitles work, but USB only

If I play something with subtitles of DLNA does not work. But if I copy this exact film and .srt file on a USB and put it in the 46TL938G, it does not work.

In any case make subtitles of DLNA?

P.S. in any case to date ridiculously obsolete Media Player / usb interface drive that uses Toshiba?
It seems more obsolete than my Samsun TV from 2002!

    > Anyway make subtitles of DLNA?

Someone suggested to change the file format of film.
Subtitles are visible, reading files MKV and AVI but not MP4 files

In this thread, you can also find information that it of possible to read subtitles and movies using transcoding
