What is the FTP.EXE program included in Windows 7 and Server 2008 helps to connect in PASV Mode?

I ask because I had a strange experience with her. First, I will mention that I did hours of research and found many articles stating that it does not work in XP/2000/Server 2003, but I found nothing for Windows 7 or Server 2008.

I found some people who kept him at work and others who could not. I tried with Windows Firewall turned off and will be on and firewall rules created. Others said it is not supported and that I should use a third-party FTP client. I could make it work in Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer. I am well aware of the situation these options in Internet Explorer.

Here are the best real, I could run from the command line on my PC Windows 7 (32 bit), but not on Server 2008 64 bit.

Now, before someone comes and asks me to check the firewall, I want to mention that I tried more than five clients of third-party FTP Server 2008 and they all worked perfectly. In addition, from the same Server 2008 it worked fine in IE and explore.

    On Windows Server 2008:

Chilkat provides this FTPS test account for all those wishing to test the secure FTP client functionality. You can connect to ftp.secureftp - test.com, connect as a 'test' with password 'test' and download that all files present on the server. The "test" account can also retrieve entries in the directory. There is, however, no downloading files on the server.

I check the server system property and I see that we use ADAPTEC Serial ATA RAID host as storage next to Microsoft iCSCI and ADAPTEC RAID SCSI Disk Device 500 GB HD controller initiator.
I also see that ADAPTEC Serial ATA RAID host uses aarahci.sys as a pilot, I check the driver, it's the most recent driver.
My question is the same as I understand that there is something wrong with the driver, but I don't know what really happened. Maybe the driver is not good, the disc has fault or we do not have enough memory (our server has only 4 GB of RAM and memory load is still > 80%, sometimes it reached 96% and current Page File is 4265 MB)
Can someone help me to point out what exactly happens with the error above?

    That means CURRENT_IRQL: 5?

  • Viewing JPG and GIF files crashes the server (Windows Server 2008)

I work in an office with windows server 2008 and we are having a problem where the right click images and choosing preview or open with IE will crash our server, then everyone must wait 3 minutes to go.  I tried like 2 hours and cannot find any info on this problem online.  Everyone knows about this problem with Server 2008?  It seems to be very consistent and arrived on different images (JPG, GIF) until we had to install a third Viewer left - but the problem is still there and now and then someone accidentally blocking us.

I have tested what it about three times what about everyone when it crashes - but so far I'm 3 for 3, so I don't think it's randomly occurring even though I don't know if led EACH image.

    Help, please!

  • Print spooler print server 2008 crash with file hpb6sy2917_x64gui.dll error

Print spooler print server 2008 crash with file hpb6sy2917_x64gui.dll error

This happened on 02/10/15 and happened again on 24/02/16. We have two printers that depend on this file. HP Color LaserJet 553 and HP LaserJet M604. I have over a hundred of the M604 on my network and the last time that this happened, it dominoed across the print server system.  This has also caused some spools of printing stop on end users. The only way I can get end users up is to uninstall the driver package.

This issue affects the Windows Server 2008 and windows computers 7 as well.  Try to determine why this has happened twice and determine how fixit before the rest of my Server 2008 and end down as well.

The error lies in the hpb6sy2917_x64gui.dll.

This time I had to remove the printers and drivers with a regedit. I also deleted all files in all files for 2917 in the

C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3 folder. But this time, when I reinstall the M604 M553 drivers and it lowers again print server spooler. I'm frustrated to say the least.

I tried clearing forcefully queues by deleting files in C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\PRINTERS

  • need help with SQL Server 2008 R2 deadlock uninstall process

I installed SQL Server 2008 R2 trial version on my PC running Windows Vista Ultimate, a day ago, but he placed himself completely in the disk partition (E :) that I specified. [i.e. I found some parts of the installation in my C:\program files as well as a USB as well].

I tried to uninstall SQL Server 2008 R2, but was only partially successful.  I'm prevented from uninsalling the main parts using the programs and features Panel - that is "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2" and "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup (in English).

    Still visible are:

    1 C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft SQL Server

    2 C:\Program Files (x 86) \Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0

    3 C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start demarrer\programmes\microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2

I would like your help to uninstall the other goals of SQL Server, so that I can do a clean install once more.

Any advice on how SQL Server 2008 R2 evaluation version must be correctly installed what a future unistall is not messy, would be welcome.

    Hello

Your question of Windows 7 is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums. It is better suited for the SQL Server forums. Please post your question in the SQL Server forums.
