• First pro does not control the properties of the video clip to match the sequence

  Hello

  I have a sequence in my calendar set at 1920 x 1080 and based on my understanding of the video clips, I place in the timeline should automatically be adjusted in cadence, resolution etc. I looked in my settings to see if an option to do this automatically has been disabled, but can not find it and the timeline is always insert Staples into their native format 1280 x 720. can you tell me what I am doing wrong?   This dialog box appears only when you place a clip in an empty sequence. This is to help you create a sequence quickly that meets (or not) your footage.

  To do what you want, go to your Pro first preferences > general and select the check box for the default scale to the size of the image.

  1. Is it possible to manually resize a video in first 11 items so that it fits within the margin of safety?  If yes how can I do this?

  What operating system executes your 11 items first?

  1. with the margins of safety on the Edit box monitor and the video clip selected, scaling the image on the screen to fit the area of interest.

  The scale can be done by clicking on the screen to bring up the bounding box of the image, then by dragging on one of the handles of the limit

  box for scale.

  Tip: Depending on the specifications of your TV, you can change the margins of safety to target edit them project Menu/Settings/general

  How can I set a video clip that includes only part of the video?  During playback, the player must pick up at a specified time t1 and then play for the specified time.

  Hi DillipShah,

  I couldn't find a sample SMIL in the repository, but your example looks like it is a mistake.  Void clips use two attributes clipBegin and clipBegin.  They also do not have the ' in the end, all the values are supposed to be seconds.  The other problem is that the url of the video is relative, which means that it may not work if your clips is not stored in the same directory as your player.  I'm not too sure if the regions are still supported.

  The SMIL plugin can be loaded using the MediaFactory, for an example on how to use a plugin, see the MASTSample in the apps/plugins/trunk folder of the source tree.  Optionally, if you do not need a SMIL, you can create a subclip by specifying start and end to the constructor of the StreamingURLResource times.

  I need to run a video that I can turn over any other flash content.

  Since I also have to add sub titles, I decided to import the video clip into a clip. The clip now has as many frames as the video.

  I added subtitles to keyframing a line of text in the video and synchronized it upward with the film. (it was not really easy...)

  I placed an instance of the clip on my main stage in frame 10. I added an on and and STOP simply would take you to a framework later without the movie clip instance and return to frame 10 once again if you want to see the video again. It worked well.

  To book the elegant transistions I wanted to fade video in and out. So on the main stage in the frame of 10 I placed this action script:

  (+ gave my movieclip the instance name mc)

  Stop();

  Import mx.transitions.Tween;

  Import mx.transitions.easing. *;

  var myTween:Tween = new Tween (mc, "_alpha", Strong.easeIn, 0, 100, 2, true);

  well which mitigates the video when the playback head to frame 10.

  There is another part of the script that should be able to tell the end next to the clip and it melted:

  myTween.onMotionFinished = function () {}

  new Tween (mc, "_alpha", Strong.easeOut, 0, 100, 2, true);

  }

  This however, I can't work:

  (1) if I place this code in the frame of 10, the video goes first but immideately faints again.

  (2) I tried to put 15 images of code at the end of the clip, and that did not work.

  (3) I tried to put 15 images of code at the end of the clip and add _parent.  and who does not.

  It is possible to work and if so, how?

  If this isn't the case, please let me know if you have any other approach proven to suggest.

  If the first interpolation works in the timeline panel, and then in the same timeline in frame of whattever close to the end you just create another interpolation there.

  I wonder, when I remove the film clips should I also be burst their table?

  I have an onEnterFrame function that attaches the video clips and the drives in the array, so I'm afraid that if I don't pop the table will continue to increase in size and slow down the film. This is the case, or will they be automatically removed from the table by the above removeMovieClip() method?

  They will not be removed from the table, but the table can now point to an undefined object.  So if the intention is not to try to deal with in this code, then you must delete them from the table.

• Help with blurring/softening of the edges of the video Clip

  I use first items 12 and I'm trying to blur/soften the edges of a video clip. I can't seem to find the right tool, ff, you've been able to do this, what tool or combination of tools did you use?

  This is very easily done with cropping effect.

  Do not need to modify the edges (put them all to 0) comes from the pen.

• No audio in some of the video clips in my CS5.5 project

  I need help. I worked on this project, which has been lying on the ice for a while. While, although my system drive crashed, but I got the project and sources stored on my external HARD drive files. I accually took the project to the external drive when my system HARD drive was running.

  If the drive crashed, and now I started the project again. The first thing that came was that the scratch disk was unavailable or locked, so it was fixed to my documents. Do I reccon which is the default when you start a project if no has been highlighted this? In this case, my old documents folder was most likley my disc scratching since I am new to this program and probably did not change the default setting.

  QUESTION: Some of the video files in the custom of the time line play the sound of the file video of said. Some will be. Also, even if I open the source file in a new project it will not reproduce the sound of the clip. The only thing that works is to move and rename the clip, then I get sound in first pro. The original video clip also has external sound in multimedia players. Then this thread me to the conclusion that first pro saves the audio file somewhere (the location of disc scratch?) which is now empty since my system crashed and I reinstalled first pro?

  My theory is correct, and is it possible as pointed out the original file and make first scorn all pro old audio he recorded somewhere else?

  I hope everything is clear enough, otherwise just ask if you need further information. I attach any hardware specs, because my sound otherwise works fine, even in first pro according to the clip.

  Just delete the files.  PP will automatically recreate those he needs when you open the project.

• How to create a play button to the video clip using AS3

  This new bit and searched the forums adobe and google. I am trying to create a button that will play an any MovieClip.

  I have a clip that I imported into its own layer of rebar (layer1) 1.  I gave the MovieClip an instance name of foundationMovie.

  I created a button and that on its own layer (Layer2) above layer1, is also in the picture 1.

  I added a

  Stop (); action of layer2

  The video is not set to AutoPlay.

  I want the video to start playing when the viewer clicks the button.  I know I have to put some sort of event using AS3 listener in my calendar somewhere.

  I found a code and I tried to work with her.  I'm sure I've mutilated it beyond usability, but it's what I have.

  If you use the FLVPlayback instance it should be on your scene, or you should have the code added to the scene. If you use the FLVPlayback instance, you don't need to import the video file, you have to have the component dynamically load by assigning the file to its source property.

  That said, the code that I showed earlier would continue to operate if the component FLVPlayback instance name of the instance 'foundationMovie '.  It's because the component has a play() and stop() supporting method.  What you need to do probably, is looking for the FLVPlayback class in the help documentation of Flash to see all that is avialable for her regarding the properties, methods and events.  You will probably find there examples as well to help you configure things.

• Reposting of the video clips in the form of audio files only (while maintaining quality)

  I'm dubbing parts of the short of re-recording (on the same device) actors speak in a quieter setting.

  Dubbing mpeg clips are about 2 minutes of time each (about 250-400 MB each).

  I want to perform a new made clips mpeg with just the noise so I must not have these clips of 400 MB.

  which I use only for stereo audio.

  Sound seems to be a lot more 'lossless' video, so a new rendering should not change the sound that discernably.

  Can anyone recommend settings or types of files, such as wav or whatever, that will preserve as much quality

  possible sound but eliminate the video so I'll have a lot more small files to import.

  Just export only the audio in WAV format.

• Combine all the video clips in a new clip

  Not exactly necessary for my workflow, but something I'd expect to see. In a main element with many intermittent faults, which I clean, either in the viewer or the timeline, my clips unique original becomes a series of video clips. With this master clip now cleaned, I couldn't want to change in a way that maps the changes done to eliminate imperfections. Kinda like having a $5, $4 1 s and the spare change to raise to $10 and preferring to have a single $10 bill, instead, another handful.

  The manual says no way to do it within the FCE. If I export the standalone series of clips as .mov, QT hit the resolution from 1080 to 720 (no thanks). If I export to QT conversion, the 1080 can be maintained, but the only file that results has its image reduced by 20% (?), surrounding it with black borders. When brought within the CTF, the clip is still listed as 1080. But I still have to resize it with success, as the means for it apparently do not allow borders to trim.

• Green vertical lines / tracks audio FX of detachment and the music of the video clip

  iMovie 10.1 on El Capitan

  This isn't a simple modification / detach Audio edition.  Is delete an image only without deleting the other independent music and audio tracks FX built under it (not worth original audio with the image).

  I built FX and music tracks on a video that has many Visual changes (with some images just by music).  Now, I want to change a few images, but when I cut the video image, some FX and music under it also disappears (tracks built under the image, not shot with it).

  It seems that green vertical lines under the picture (in the time line) are tying in various capacities, although these FX and music tracks run far beyond the video image and were not turned with the video image.

  How can I remove those green vertical lines and detach these multiple audio tracks of the image I want to cut?  Thank you.

  Yes, if you delete a video file or even attached with audio clip, the audio will be deleted also.  You must move the anchor (green line) to an adjacent element.  To do this hold command and alt (option) key down and click on in the half superior audio clip (or in the clip of Cup or title) where you want the connection be moved on.

  (If there is no synchronization issues you can simply change the audio if it is related to another clip, and then quarterback after the change of the image.)

  This only happens to a music video and a photo.  I removed the clips and replace them again and it still happens.  I can't find a way to remove the white titles from the images.  Help?  I don't know if I have Vista or XP...

  The same letters seem if you watch the video in Windows Media Player?

  In Movie Maker - timeline view... Look at the track "Title Overlay"... If there is
  the unwanted titles here... right click / delete them.

• Title not listed is not in the video clip

  I'm having a problem with the titles in my video clips.  I am working on a project and had no problem creating a title and placing it under the second clip in my sequence.  However, I can't can't get a title to display on the other elements in the sequence.  I tried to restart the project, creating a new title, dragging the first title (which works) under this clip (and even clips is close), but nothing seems to work.

  Now, I noticed in the workspace title, I see the title on the nearby video of the starting and at the end of the title, but not between these two points.

  I've attached screenshots and would enjoy solve this one.

  Try to put it on a higher track, the video above.

• How can I put my own description of my video clips in the 'Cashier' section, which limits me to include my meassage under the video clip?  By choosing "General" desription, ther 'Party.  This isn't a freedom of choice.
