• I tried several times to set up an email account with Thunderbird, but the next time I start the computer and start Thunderbird, no account is displayed.

In doing so, I got an e-mail account IMAP incoming more two outgoing SMTP server (comparing them, I also understand the configuration error that I had done the first time). I then deleted the manual as SMTP server the automatically the installation server worked correctly.
  In this context, accepting them and sending E-mail worked OK. However, the next time I started the computer, the e-mail account disappeared and Thunderbird was asked to set up a new account again. I have successfully set up manually once more, but the same problem resurfaced at the next startup, the e-mail account was gone...!

  I'm trying to "understand :-)." "How to secure my laptop, a single user stand alone - not connected to any local network where obtaining internet access SECURE in my only goal.  I never SHARE with any other computer and want to disable ALL unnecessary services - what services can I disable in Windows 7 and with the Windows Firewall work with AT & T Internet Security Suite McAfee I entered and disabled all connections through the Windows Firewall to the internet PUBLIC - as I assume that the firewall 'rules' will block all malicious attacks - knowing that it is NEVER safe to assume something where I just enough conscience to accept the fact that I then know near NOTHING scares me.  Thanks - I'm trying to educate myself and the fear that Windows 7 will be obsolete before I have achieve this noble goal :-) - and then the nightmare should be repeated on a new version of Windows.   I wonder if you could help out me?

  I have problems with internet access on a wireless router with what appears to be a conflict between three different pieces of equipment.

  I have a laptop running Windows 7 & an Ipod Touch which access entered it internet without any problem on a Belkin 54 g wireless router.

  Everytime I turn on my Windows Vista desktop PC, both devices 'hang up' (not the o/s of just no internet access) desktop PC seems to have access to internet at the outset and then access toggle on and outside.

  I then shut down the PC and reset before internet access wireless router is available on the portable computer and the IPOD Touch. I find it very frustrating, because I want that all three devices to be able to access the internet at the same time.

  An error message came up initially on the laptop, marking an IP address conflict. I paid for for a guru PC "told" to come take a look at this - he made some changes to the IP address of the desktop computer, then it wouldn't be anywhere near the addresses of the other 2 devices, but this seems not to have solved the problem.

  Can you please specify? Any help would be welcome!

  I have a windows 7 64 bit pc.

  I mapped drives that I have used for years.

  Now, 1 mapped drive on this pc, my account is locked when I try to run an executable file. I can connect to other PCs and it is not a problem. I don't have any credentials stored on my pc. I rebooted, removed from the computer from the domain and readded. I checked the server when the actions are (logged in as myself) and can run executable files. It is a problem on this pc for this drive. Even if I use the full path in windows Explorer, my account locked with incorrect password.

  Any ideas on where to find the next?

  The executable is probably attempting to access a shared resource using the incorrect credentials. You would examine its inner workings in detail, for example by checking his profile files and registry keys, in order to know what it is.

  In each user account, there is a PUBLIC folder.

  Public folders are open (accessible) to all users.

  Back to your admin account > transfer document files/records in the Public record > logon for the user account > go to the Public folder > you should see all the documents.

  How to "transfer" documents in the Public folder?

  1. drag and Drop option.

  2 copy and paste option.

  3. copy to or move to the right click options.

  * My favorite is the options copy to or Move To.

  I built a laboratory to test ESX and I always wondered what the best practice when you want to access the SQL2005 DB vcenter and updating manage DB.  In the past, I always created separate user accounts to access their database.

  Any problems if I were to use one account for both of the DB.

  Role separation is advisable for many reasons. In this case, you can create a more flexible and more secure configuration using two accounts. Functionally, it work whatever it is, but if you need to separate the instances in the future you might some unwanted configuration dependencies.
