• Set the value of selectOneChoice managed Bean

Hello Experts,

My script is as follows: -.

I have a selectOneChoice in my page and I fill it with values in the loading of the page (in the constructor of my managed bean) and he filled in correctly

< af:selectOneChoice binding = "#{viewScope.MyBean.select}" >

< f: selectItems value = "#{viewScope.MyBean.arr}" >

< / af:selectOneChoice >

ARR = new ArrayList < selectItem > ();

arr. Add (new selectItem ("1", "Label 1"));
arr. Add (new selectItem ("2", "Label 2"));
arr. Add (new selectItem ("3", "Label 3"));
arr. Add (new selectItem ("4", "Label 4"));

Now, I need when I click a button on my page, make sure the value selected from the selectOneChoice '1 '.

I tried the following, but it does not work:

1 - select.setValue("1");

2 - SelectItem TR = new SelectItem ("1", "Label 1");
select.setValue (si);

So, how can I do in my managed bean?

I appreciate your help and thanks in advance

The has a value property that the component stores the selected value. You can either declare a temporary variabel on the page (http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2013/03/25/creating-variables-and-attribute-bindings-to-store-values-temporarily-in-the-pagedef/) and use this variable to store the selected value, or you can use a bean for this property. Once you have set the value property, you can select the entry by setting the value property to the index that you want to select.

• How to set the session bean of backing bean variable

Hi all -

I have a bean with a session variable and I want to set the value of this variable to a bean of support. Could someone please suggest how to achieve this.

I use ADF 11 g.

Greetings-
Rohit

Hello

First of all, you need get the referral of bean in the bean to support session, and call the method that sets the value of the attribute. Getting session bean reference - you can use dependency injection, which is the best way, but you must register your bean in faces-config. XML (not adfc - config.xml, see http://biemond.blogspot.com/2010/04/ejb-injection-in-jsf-managed-bean.html).
An alternative is to search the session bean's JNDI.
Third option involves data controls: you create a session bean data control and then expose the method to fix your attribute value, in the calling page to jspx pageDef. To do this, you can't use method that begins with 'set', because you will not be able to exhibit in the pageDef (at least not with the Visual Editor). Then, you can call this method from the bean to support using this code:

BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("yourSessionBeanMethodExposedInPageDef");
operationBinding.execute();

I hope this helps.

• < af:valueChangeListener > sets the new value back to the old value

Hi people,

I'm trying to implement a search bar with < af:inputText > and < af:selectOneListbox >.

When the user selects an item in the listbox control, the inputText will be updated. After hitting the "ENTER" key, the search action will be taken.

The valueChangeListener will be called when the selection of items in the listbox.

The problem can be described by the following two cases:

(1) the user types something in the inputText box and hitting 'ENTER' key for a search. The valueChangeListener is called and sets the value of the string user typed.

(2) the user selects something in the list box, each time changes the selection in the listbox control, the valueChangeListener will be called. But when the user presses the "ENTER" key, the valueChangeListener is still called, and it sets the return value to the old value. For example, the list has 'a ', ' b', 'c '. The user selects 'a', then 'b '. After hitting the "ENTER" key, the value in the inputText is replaced with "a".

The code is as follows:

Code in .jspx:

< af:inputText value = "#{pageFlowScope.word} '"

autoSubmit = 'true' immediate = "true".

valueChangeListener = "#{pageFlowScope.update}" / >

< af:selectOneListbox valuePassThru = "true" >

< f: selectItems value = "#{pageFlowScope.items}" / >

< / af:selectOneListbox >

Bean managed code:

publicvoid update (ValueChangeEvent event) {}

This.Word = event.getNewValue (m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString ());

}

I don't know how the valueChangeListener behaves like that.

Could someone provide me with clues or tips?

Thank you

Carl

Carl, tell us your version of jdev, please!

There is something wrong in your implementation. I do not see an inputText field who's value stored in a variable pageflowscope "word". This field has an attached valuechangelistener which is obsolete, because the field already stores its value in the variable pageflowscope. The same that you are trying to do in the valuechangelistener. So I don't see a selectonelistbox which does not store the value selected anywhere because it doesn't have the value property for it. There isn't an attached valuechangelistener so I wonder how your valuechangelistener is called at all when you change the selectoneListBox.

Well put method's return value to a managed bean variable.

Create a variable in the bean and set the return value to this variable.

the inputText and outputTextValue to this managedBean.variable value

That's all...

• How to set the default value of the component selectOneChoice in the table to the ADF

Hi all

I use jdev 11.1.1.6.0 version.

I used an adf table in which an attribute is selectOnceChoice.

To create the table and selectOneChoice I used the data control java bean.

and drag and drop a table and after that I have drag and drop one of the attributes as selectonechoice and linked with the return of the method list as < key, value > pair.

I want the default value to select only one option in each attribute rows.

I checked with simillar issue on post next, but not yet resolved.

My jspx code is

<af:column id="c11"
headerText="Invoice To" >
<af:outputText value="#{row.invoiceTo}" id="ot19"/>
<af:selectOneChoice value="#{bindings.invoiceTo.inputValue}"

and the display attribute

Data value = invoiceTo List = lovMasterKey attribute

Display attribute = lovMasterValue

that list is maintained at < lovMasterKey, lovMasterValue >

According to the value of invoiceTo line, it should show as default value is selectOneChoice, but its showing no not as a default value.

Please, help me how set the default value of selectOneChoice in the table according to each value line invoiceTo.

Thank you all for the help on this issue.

Problem has been resolved.

Reason for this was used

It is solved using code used for the list built for selectoneChoice more

List lovMasterList = new ArrayList();

SelectItem siItem = new SelectItem();

siItem.setLabel(objAfCmnLovMasterListVO1.getLovMasterValue());

siItem.setValue(objAfCmnLovMasterListVO1.getLovMasterKey());

• How to set the render property of the field on one facet of panelSplitter?

Hi, experts,
In jdev 11.1.2.3,.
How to set the render property of the field on one facet of panelSplitter?
-If the panelSplitter is reduced then make some fields in the second pane. otherwise, do not make these fields.

It is not an easy job for me to set the EL expression.
Thank you.

OK, just did a small test case. It turns out that the difficulty is to automatically update the fields when the separator discloses. To add a pair of earphone client/server. This sends the event to disclose to the bean to update the fields.
Page code:

If your still to know how to to this topic, here's an option. I hope this helps.

-----------------PART 1-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Override the default constructor as this.
lov instance will be created after the entry of the TF of the 2nd screen, so by LoggenInUser then will start,
and will be used to create the instance of lov uses this value as a bind variable.

SerializableAttribute public class EmpByMrgLOVImpl extends EmpByMrgLOV {}

private String myusernameid ="";

/**
* This is the default constructor (do not remove).
*/

public EmpByMrgLOVImpl() {}

Set usernameid here when built
get the usernameid of the bean class - btw the bean will be updated on the Taskflow method call before execution and now and set in constructor
FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance ();
ELContext elContext = facesContext.getELContext ();
ExpressionFactory expressionFactory = facesContext.getApplication () .getExpressionFactory ();
ValueExpression exp = expressionFactory.createValueExpression (elContext, "#{mySOMEBean.LoggedInUser}", Object.class);
This.myusernameid = (String) exp.getValue (elContext); set the user to act as link var

}

{} public void setmyusernameid (String myusernameid)
This.myusernameid = myusernameid;
}

public String getmyusernameid() {}
Return myusernameid;
}

}

-----------------PART 2--------------------

variable binding must Access EmpByMrgLOV VO using groovy as below

You EmpByMrgLOV YOUR query tab, add bind var as below:
Name = EmpSOMEUser (change to what your query)
Type = String
Value = ADF. Object.viewObject.myusernameid

-----------------PART 3--------------------
Once you have created a method taskflow run between your fist and 2 nd page, add set / gets in the bean for the var as below

public MySOMEBean {}
private Stirng LoggedInUser ="";
{} public void someMethodCalledBeforeTFEntryintoSecoundScreen (String loggedinuser)
if(loggedinuser!=null)
setLoggedInUser (loggedinuser);
else {}
System.out.println ("not loggedin user");
setLoggedInUSer (null); This will result in a null btw pointer
}
}
public setLoggedInUSer {(String loggedinuser) {blah blah}}
public String getLoggedInUser() {blah blah}
}

So part3 gets put first based on what you collect on your first page, then
part1 at lov construction that uses part3 for her time

• Problem to set the function key button

Hello

JHs: 11.1.1.3.35
JDev: 11.1.1.4

I have a button that I want to assign a function key for. I based the JHs tutorial and added the following lines:

(1) #ADD_GROUP_ACTION(${JHS.page.group} "RefreshButton" "${JHS.current.item.id}") for model TOOLBAR_BUTTON

(2) ${JHS.registerFunctionKey("shift F5","Shift+F5","Refresh","RefreshButton",true)} to the REGISTER_FUNCTION_KEYS model

Now, the new function button appears in the list of the function keys when I press ctrl + K, but by pressing ctrl + k has no effect. I have no idea why it does not work. What should I do to make this work?

Here are the attribute added to the page:

< name f: attribute = "RefreshButton.
value = "ReplyDepartmentQueuePC:ReplyDepartmentQueueRefreshBtn" / >

and here's the definition of the commandButton:

< af:commandButton id = "ReplyDepartmentQueueRefreshBtn".
textAndAccessKey = ' #{nls ['REPLYDEPARTMENTQUEUE_REFRESHBTN']}. "
Icon="/jheadstart/images/refresh.gif".
actionListener = "#{bindings." ExecuteQueryReplyDepartmentQueue.execute}.
shortDesc = "#{nls ['REPLYDEPARTMENTQUEUE_REFRESHBTN_HINT']}."
iconPosition = 'creeping' > < / af:commandButton >

See you soon,.
Will do

Will do,

Can enable you logging ADF for package oracle.jheadstart.controller.jsf.bean, which should show instructions for debugging of bean FunctionKeyHandlerImpl Manager.

Better yet, run your application in mode bug, set a breakpoint in FunctionKeyHandlerImpl.handleKeyCode and press Caps - F5. That should clarify what happens.

• Unable to set the Current Row key

Dear all,

I thought this for awhile. Kindly help me please on what is the problem with this code.

I can access my required iterator in my managed bean and I wanted to programmatically set the
current line with this pseudo-code.
Row[] rowDatas = someBindings.getAllRowsInRange();
for (int index = 0; index < rowDatas.length; index++) {
Row rowTemp = rowDatas[index];
if (someCondition == true) {
someBindings.setCurrentRowWithKeyValue(rowTemp.getKey().toStringFormat(true));
break;
}
}
I wanted to find all the rows in my iterator, that's why I call getAllRowsInRange()
Loop through all the lines, then find a row that matches a condition. The value of this line as the key of the current line.

My problem is that it doesn't define the current row to the row that matches my criteria.
One reason behind this?

I'm stuck with this for a while...

Hello

Just check wat this line is back: rowTemp.getKey () .toStringFormat (true)

It returns the value of the current key (i.e. 100) or something like long number 271367896897890709890.

setCurrentRowWithKeyValue(); will only the exact value.
