  I have Dell AC511 USB speakers attached to the Mac Mini.  When using these speakers, slices of level default volume using volume up/down on the keyboard go straight from muted way too loud for the rest room in the evening by pressing volume up only once.  Is there a way to make slices when you press volume up/down key on the keyboard be more specific?  Using the mouse to adjust the volume (using volume in the menu bar icon or by using the volume slider in the control panel) offers much more granularity.  I would like to have these more granular increases when you use keyboard volume keys down too.

  I have an old desktop iMac to less than 1 year, I've upgraded to El captain of Yosemite.  Just fine, except the quality of the internal speakers.  Yesterday, I received speakers brand new engine audio 5 +.  Hooked by instructions.  Between the speakers volume levels are completely unbalanced.   Can you be more specific with how your output of iMac is done?  As usually, always check, then check your connections in your speakers and make sure that the audio cables are intact and not frayed.  If you use the headset, ensure that the headphone cable is robust and doesn't look like not to is damaged/twisted.

  You can consider getting the audio DAC AudioEngine to manage your Mac, as it is much better than one built-in that comes in your iMac.  I use it on my new iMac 5K that I received a few weeks ago.

  What operating system do you use? Vista or XP? Try to install Hotkeycontrol 7.0

  If you use XP for CQ40, the setting of the brightness (Fn + F7 or F8) dysfunction.

• Aspire 8942G. The on screen volume level display has stopped working.

  When I use the wheel of volume on the keyboard, I would see a numerical value on screen from 0-100 indicating the volume level.  It has stopped working.  The volume and the volume in the taskbar icon work properly.  Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  First of all, I have not any common suggestion for burning inside or more. I just use it regularly and have never use speakers over 50% of the volume.

  However, things go wrong when I notice that the speaker do a slight distortion, even at a minimum volume (5%). I tried to disable the software of beats, set Equalizer of the player flat, but the speaker is distorted almost on every music.

  Tried to play some youtube and it is still distortion at all volume levels.

  I have check the card driver its IDT and its updates. No additional software for the audio except for the drive itself.

  Does anyone has a related suggestion this topic?

  Try to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the IDT HD Audio Driver (this will also reinstall the Beats Audio interface) - how to use the Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  When windows has fully charged, use Recovery Manager to reinstall HP Quick Launch Buttons.  Once again, when this has completed,restart the laptop.

Just one thing that bothers me is that, until now, it will display the warning when rasining top music volume level using earphones, but today it suddenly stopped showing this warning.   I'm trying to control a power supply DC via GPIB. The power supply being used is the QL355TP of society Thurlby Thandar Instruments (TTi).   p.s. Try to replace the decimal comma to period. It is possible that the driver does not correctly handle the comma.
