Setting vhv.enable to true fails

I can't have the value vhv.enable = TRUE.  I have another property with the same code go together (I checked the vmx file) but THT will not.

System.getModule("foo").setProperty (vm, "vhv.enable", "TRUE");

System.getModule("foo").setProperty (vm, "featMask.vm.hv.capable", "Min:1");

When I check the vmx file, THT is not defined, but the featMask is.  Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using powercli the example below should do the trick for you. I assume you are using a 5.1 or 5.5 ESXi physical server.

$config = new-Object VMware.Vim.VirtualMachineConfigSpec

$config.nestedHVEnabled = $true

This will fill the file with the vhv.enable = line true .vmx

(Note that this is just a snippet of my code)

I'm working on SRIOV and I need to activate intel_iommu = we're in grub, so that it allows the transmission of memory and management mechanism. But when I activate intel_iommu = on and after restart my system stops with error ("" megaraid: could not get the pp list "") pls find the attchement for details of the error. I googled just this error but did not patch appropriate to exploit. If the similar question has already been resolved Dell, please send me the fix and the appropriate measures to move forward.

    It is unfortunate that your problem is still not resolved. I would suggest trying the following methods and check to see if they help.


    Method 1: Use the registry editor

    1. Press on the key of the Windows Logo + R.
    2. Type regedit.
    3. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/Desktop/NameSpace.
    4. Find the key: {B4FB3F98-C1EA-428d-A78A-D1F5659CBA93}.
    5. Double-click on the default value in the right pane and the value on others.

    If this does not resolve your problem, there are corruptions in the system folders. I try to check the use of method 2.


    Method 2: Scan SFC

    Verification of the file system (CFS) is a utility built into the operating system that will check for the corruption of system files. The sfc/scannow command. (System File Check) analyzes the integrity of all protected operating system files and replaces incorrect versions, damaged, altered, or damaged with correct versions where possible.

    I'm new to IVI drivers (started using them last week) and I have a problem with the option of initializing RangeCheck.

    So get used to the IVI drivers, I used the example provided with the AgilentE36xx IVI - COM driver (on my computer, it is located in C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\IVI\Drivers\AgE36xx\Examples\VS.NET\Cpp\Example1).

    I could do everything I wanted except get an error out-of-range, during the passage of an out-of-range value to a function. I put the RangeCheck init option to true, but I don't have any error in the simulation, nor with the connected equipment.

    Attached is the code (from the example of Agilent) but modified so that it should throw an out-of-range error when adjusting the tension on the following line: spOutput1-> VoltageLevel = 1000; ... why no error.

    Still, it runs correctly. Can someone tell me what I'm not doing correctly.

    I'm trying to access an online simulation via MyMIS Lab of Pearson for a class online. I was using this simulation a couple of days, but when I logged on this morning, the simulation does not open. I copy and paste the error message that appears when I try to open it. Basically, it reads "you see this error because you have DEBUG = True in your file settings to Django. Change False and Django will display a 500 standard page. I have no idea what Django settings are and have studied how to change the setting, but I'm not familiar with this at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated so I can get my homework done! Now, we are working on enablement patch online using Oracle EBS - Réf.-E48839-02, Chapter 4. When applying patch 13543062: R12. AD. C, after all the pre-reqs tasks that we face worker failed on the first steps. After reviewing the logfile worker, we try to compile the requested package body but it returns:

    ERROR on line 1:

    ORA-04063: package body "APPS. AD_ZD_PREP"contains errors

    ORA-06508: PL/SQL: called program unit is not found: 'APPS. AD_ZD_PREP ".

    1. check if the RDBMS 17502060 patch has been applied to the database.

    2. If the hotfix has been applied, then run the script:

    SQL > sqlplus / as sysdba

    17502060/files/sqlpatch/17502060/postinstall. This patch SQL.

    3 run ADGRANTS

    SQL > sqlplus / as sysdba

    SQL > @$APPL_TOP/admin/adgrants.sql APPS

    4. Finally, to compile the package body

    SQL > conn apps/apps

    SQL > alter the body of package AD_ZD_PREP compilation;

  • DesignJet 5500: Cutter has stopped working. Strawberry setting is "enabled."

    On my 5500 after printing something from the machine always cuts the paper.  The printer is no longer automatically cutting paper when finished printing.  I checked the menu of the printer and the strawberry is set on "on".  It makes no noise related to the cut, I don't think that the printer is trying to cut.

    Are there other settings that I can check?  I get no error message.

    I found the page break and characteristic cut, it's under media settings.

    I changed the media type and the strawberry started to work very well.  I do not change the paper, only the type listed in the media settings in the printer menu.

    I gave up trying to clone an existing config a spec just dynamically created in memory, and applied.  It was a LOT easier and had no password problems.

    Our web site is configured with index.cfm as default document. We have configured a directory to use Basic authentication. If the URL is without extension (/csts_test/) IIS authenticates the user but the mistakes of cfmHandler IsapiMidule out. If the URL contains an extension (/ csts_test/index.cfm) or if the default document is a static page (HTML, etc.) IIS authenticates the user and the page is returned to the browser successfully. This seems to be similar to the post on the forum default document is not being processed when not included in the URL , but no resolution is documented.     Does anyone know of a way to make the IIS connector honours a CFM document file by default if basic authentication is enabled? Is this a bug in the connector?

    Both basic authentication and Windows authentication require that the directory with the isapi_redirect.dll to have permissions that are defined so that user authentication has reading/performance. This solves the problem.

    The operating system and the virtual machine configuration:

    There are 2 physical Oracle servers base (model # 2 - Oracle SPARC Solaris 11.1, T4). On both machine 'Oracle VM for SPARC' software is installed and logical domains are configured with Solaris 11.1. Oracle RAC 2 node cluster is currently Setup between the logical field in each of the servers.

    Objective:

    We plan to install and configure Oracle RAC 11 g R2 (11.2.0.4) on two machines of Oracle VM. Control script of pre-installation (runcluvfy.sh) on the RAC node is completed without errors/warning.

    Question:

    During the installation of oracle grid infrastructure, SSH configuration failed and on the shell prompt shows JVM CRASH LIB...

    I'm not able to install RAC because of this problem.

    Your suggestions/help will be greatly appreciated.

    The update URL is generated via the app.update.url pref you can check on the topic: config page.

    If you want to see the exact URL and then install Live Http Headers extension and open its window.
    If you open "> about" then this will trigger an update check to retrieve an update.xml file and you should see the full URL in the HLH capture window.
