Settings - E-Mail

When I disable 'send messages' under 'messages' and click 'save', I get a confirmation e-mail. However to receive messages from my group continues. I connect you and go to the settings section, but "sending messages" is not disabled anymore.

In addition, under "E-mail-Digests" I can't choose 'don't send any digest '.

I don't want emails from my group 'support assist' more. How I can do to stop it?

Karl234,

In the settings you can usually get any emails or anything.

Settings, email, Setup email, uncheck the boxes here.

If you just want to stop messages of support help, go to the forum. You must be in the forums section.

In the right column, you will see options.

Notifications from the Forum off / on. Make sure that it is disabled for the forum.

If the notification is just for a thread, go in the thread, click on online display of the email. You will see...

If you click on the email you sign up/unsubscribe which will stop the emails for this thread. (You can hear the phone mute)

  • How to configure the settings of mail on HP Laserjet Enterprise 500 color MFP M575 printer/scanner?

How to configure the settings of mail on HP Laserjet Enterprise 500 color MFP M575 printer/scanner?  The Office has 5 staff members each with ending with [email protected] for example e-mail addresses.  We have also created an email for option analysis as [email protected] (not sure if creating an e-mail address for the scan option is required).  We are not part of any domain, and there is no server in the office.  When you try to configure the email on the printer/scanner control panel it asks the host name.

What host name that I can use?

If you try to configure the browser by using the IP address of the printer, he asks as the SMTP server. The MS Outlook 2010 all our emails use mail.junior - albania.org incoming mail server and outgoing.  Other settings in MS Outlook 2010 are box My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication checked and use the same settings as my mail server entering selected.  On the Advanced tab: incoming server (Pop3): 110 (SSL encryption is not checked) and outgoing (SMTP) server: 465 use the type of encrypted connection (SSL) following.

What server SMTP should I use in this case?

I would appreciate your help in the configuration of the HP printer/Scanner for scanning and sending by electronic mail to the members of the office staff email addresses.

    Thank you...

I'll link you to the product page with several documents which I hope will help you to configure your e-mail settings. Please look through them and see which ones fit your needs:

Scan and send (e-mail, send to folder, digital sending, etc..)

Here is another site that has some videos that will guide you through the entire upward (here I would try everything first )

If these don't work, please let me know and I will continue to search it for you.

  • (settings?) mail does not display current email (i.e. not updated) and also FREEZING

I have a recurring issue that domestic /seems/ (?) to be on my network? and whenever I get around to trying to solve I'm distracted by something more important so it continues to be a nagging and annoying problem. I essentially by default using my iphone to view mail that is a major pain.

in any case, the mail isn't often DAY and watch instead to the amount of mail yesterday. I tried to 'pull' mail list down so he could update - which seems to somehow be something I need to do on my iphone so he can update when I'm on my home network or another network (this must be some setting iphone related to light do not push?).

However, this does not work on the laptop.

Similarly, I ALSO try to click the MESSAGE ICON MAIL which I assume is a push "manuals" that I have to try to get the post to update?

    1. can I change a push affecting somewhere to see if that fixes things?

    2. I saw something that referenced a GMail/yosemite bug (delay in the release of still have bugs in the mail...) and it's said to enable and disable the IMAP parameter for any mail or something? I couldn't quite find it.

    3. I saw a thread that seemed to say I should trash a few last state file but it's a site pretty pop ups to be wary of the use of this suggestion.

How to remove the Mail from the saved state:

    1. Force quit Mail app ('Application is not responding do not"question!).
    2. Go to the Finder.
    3. Hold the Option key and select 'library' in the menu 'go. '
    4. Go to the folder 'containers > com.apple.mail > data > library > state saved application' and move the folder called "com.apple.mail.savedState" to the trash.
    5. Empty the trash.
    6. Restart your Mac.
    7. Mail recovery.

can someone advise? It drives me crazy and suck major (and mojo) time out of my day.

    Thank you

  • procedure for NUKING all THE e-mail settings

I decided to nuke everything on my mac air associated with the settings of mail no matter how much I try, I can't him reliable get new messages. I have been kindly provided a number of different (and relatively technical) papers and decided to wear it just to the genius bar.

would someone mind just doublechecking my methodology here before I go through setting up again? I do not have these articles printed here, but if I can do this without /studying/ upward on the mail (again) I would be excited.

So basically what I did is I took at the genius bar and had the nuke guy all settings and we decided collectively I go home and remove and then reset the accounts.

now I think I have it FIRST remove accounts and nuked THEN all of the data.

am I right in thinking that I should go ahead and "re-nuke" all parameters before the definition of my new accounts?

It occurred to me just now that I opened the mail at a coffee shop - I am connected to WIFI - and I have no mail. so now I am delete my email accounts, but I think the crab data will still be in the system after I delete the accounts and reset them to the top.

    thoughts?

    Thank you

I don't see why it would be wrong to repeat what has been done on the Apple Store before adding back accounts. It helps ensure that you start with a 'clean slate' and not data withholding.

  • Display Manager keeps Dell mode multimedia for Windows applications like settings, Mail, etc..

Can't understand why my display Manager continues to change the media color profile when I go in settings or by mail (Windows 10 apps).  In my Auto Mode settings, everything I have is Standard as default values except for the game mode for games full screen.  Yet whenever I go to the application settings or mail it keeps switching media.  I use the U3415W display in Windows 10 and I have the latest drivers.

It is a conflict between the new and old versions of the MDD. If you are comfortable with the Windows registry, go to HKCU\Software\EnTech\DDM\Apps and simply delete the values that begin with 'Metro '. Then restart DDM and the default mode for Win10 applications will be everything you select to 'by default for universal Windows applications'.

  • Mail and gmail don't agree in the Sierra, once again.

I had resolved all the gmail against messaging problems in El Capitan, but after upgrading to Sierra problems are back.

When I write and send an e-mail message, I find myself with a project in gmail attached to the messages thread which is waiting, despite having sent in Mail. The message is sent, but it remains as a draft in gmail. If I delete those, I'm deleting my copy of the message sent in gmail, but if I send them from gmail I'll send the same e-mail twice.

Any who see other related issues with Mail and gmail to disagree again?

I noticed that they have changed the settings in mail preferences you must specifically choose folder where you want to that mail to store drafts in. I have changed (back) to save them locally, which is always annoying, but I hope it will help with future messages, but what about all these projects message already sent? If I remove them, gmail sync sent versions of mail or delete?

How did the years and years pass, and Apple can't do gmail and work well together? Is not gmail so widely used they would have fixed this now?

I have problem with my IMAP accounts additional air currents. I suggest that you create a new user to test.

Try to set up a test account, see if the problem is global, or just linked to your account.

    CREATE A NEW USER

Go to system-> Preferences, create a new user in users and groups.

Switch to the new user by logging incoming/outgoing or use the fast user switching.

You can skip signature with your Apple ID, unless you test iCloud Mail.

By default only the applications Apple will be in the dock in the new user. Go to Applications to open other apps, that you can test.

If you see the same question in the new user, report it to the comments of the Apple in order to be connected and put in the queue to be fixed.

  • Problem - iPod Touch model MC0886LL, Version 4.2.1 (8C148) e-mail

Just found and loaded up my old iPod Touch, model MC0886LL. When I go to gmail, it reads, "cannot get the job. The user name or password [email protected] is incorrect. I went to settings and 'Mail, contacts and calendars', under "Mail & calendar" I saw my Gmail email address. I clicked on it and saw it as 'Account' with my gmail address. I clicked on it and saw my password. It should be correct because it has not changed, but always I deleted and returned the correct password, but again, I get the same error message. This device is no longer supported?

    Thanks, Lgo

Try to remove the iPod Gmail account and re enter the settings.

  • Mail going offline

I use an iMac and a relatively new Macbook Pro.  Both computers are set up the same and use the same network.  My Mail from Apple often goes offline on my Macbook Pro.  I have to turn off and then back on my wifi.  I also do when my internet (using Safari) freezes.  I have read several posts on this problem, but you have not seen a solution.  I posted about this earlier (impossible to find my post) and someone said it was a problem with my network.  Not sure why I have this problem on my Macbook Pro and not on my iMac, several air MacBook, iPad and iPhone.  Help, please.

    Thank you.

    Hi Brendan Frank,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. From your post, I gathered that your e-mail account in the Mail application is taken offline and also, you have problems with Safari does not, but only on the MacBook Pro not the iMac. I want to check my email on multiple devices, so I can understand your concern. I'll be happy to help you with this. I found this support article happening on some information:

If you cannot send or receive e-mail on your Mac.

    In particular, this section:

If Mail indicates that your account appears to be offline
Mail will say that your account appears to be offline due to a network problem.

If you are connected to the Internet, but your account appears to be offline, your e-mail settings may not be correct. To view your current settings in Mail, choose Preferences from the mail menu, click accounts, and then select your e-mail account.
OS X will automatically use account settings appropriate for many e-mail providers. You can use the search for Mail settings to display these settings, or receive the settings from your email provider. Then compare them to the settings that you see in Mail preferences.

If your MacBook Pro has not been restarted recently, I recommend a reboot.

If Safari is slow, unresponsive, which closes unexpectedly or has other issues, this article goes on some information for the Safari issue that you are experiencing as well.

You can also test these two problems in safe mode to see if they occur. First of all, you need to add the email account in the Mail application.

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

To return to your main user account after try safe mode, simply restart the Mac. To check if these problems are specific to the user or system-wide, you can always check this in another user account.

How to test a question in another account on your Mac.

    Have a great day!
