  If maisl isn't here as stated above then you must erase your SMS database.

  To clear the TEXT completely check following the steps:

  1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer.
  2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
  3. Double-click on the backup and restore, and then click Advanced.
  4. In the list of device databases, select the appropriate database.  For your problem, select SMS.
  5. Click clear.
  6. In the warning window, click OK.

  Don't forget to have if you erase your SMS as mentioned above, then all Messages will be lost and cannot be extracted unless you have a backup.

  Hi everyone, I need your help. I recently lost my blackberry and I had connected my hotmail account to the phone. Is there a way I can disassociate it now? I myself have retired to the fact that theres nothing I can do on the card memory and messages, etc., but is it possible to link the hotmail account so that he who has the phone has no access to my e-mail account? Please help because it can become a serious security problem for me. The only thing I could think is changing the password for the hotmail account so the phone would not allow the verification of authentication. I don't know if it would work.   Hi and welcome to the Forums!

  Change your Hotmail password will work... DO IT NOW! Then worry about the rest.

  You can connect to your Web of BIS carrier site and remove the e-mail account configuration. Or you can call your operator and ask them to do-, you must call them anyway to report the loss.

  On your next BB, consider using a device lock password... that would protect your data against the one who picks up your BB where you lost.

They were not because I added my email accounts before, when I visited settings again to add an additional account, I was unable to do so because they were gel / disabled.   Check the settings > general > Restrictions and do of course restrictions to make changes to accounts is not enabled.

• The e-mail address domain blackBerry smartphones is not found

  I'm unable to add an email account for my account bis.

  The error message I get back is

  The e-mail address field is not found.  I have configure the mail host myself and I can send and receive e-mail in outlook.  The domain is tmconcepts.ca.  I think it might be a dns issue, but I'm not sure.  Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

  I ran a MX for your domain search and don't have any issues find your mail server.

  In regards to integration advanced, won't see it an advanced option, but if you follow the article knowledge base, I provided above, it will take you through the process.  The key to the advanced integration of departure is to enter your email address and leave the password empty fields.

• Mail indicator - Hello blackBerry smartphones?

  Hi guys,.

  I got my Bold 9700 for a few days now - overall very happy. I'm a switcher iPhone and I am myself that I did not have the months of the switch there are kicking!

  However - a quick question! The notification next to the envelope icon does not appear when I get a new mail message electronic (I put my Gmail account on your phone). I get the mega-small icon in the top bar, but the red asterisk is not appearing on my icon more Gmail (the one that appears on the dock background thing.

  What confuses me, is that it appears on the "Messages" icon Clues as to why what is happening there, but not on the Gmail mail icon there? I have looked through the settings but can't seem to find anything.

  someone correct me if im wrong, but the id of a session on her BIS account (if you happen to be with sprint its this address: https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=sprint ) and you will need his pswrd for her. Click on Edit next to the email acct / and then signatures I think, and you should be able to edit from there. ID do it on your pc and not the handset... If you need help just ask.

  I think these are more a problem with the facebook settings not the device itself. Notification settings of e-mail on the facebook site (not the phone) send you a message in the facebook app on the phone. Mobile facebook settings are those who send you text messages. Go edit those to your facebook site preferences.

  Take another look at the link I sent to you in my previous post... that tells you what reconciliation capabilities exist with each account type. On this list, you will see that HotMail has the ability to do what you want thanks to BIS, but POP doesn't.

  I had to have mine replaced. I got home and probably intervened a couple back. Mail works generally, but I want to get it's completely clean.

  I have 3 email accounts, but when I look at my records, I show 6 of Inbox. That's probably because I did a restore from a backup, then when my mail didn't work, I deleted the accounts online and added, then I entered my new info on the device. Basically, I have 3 files orphans. My end result is 2 files per account, but only 1 is synchronized. How to remove the folders Inbox 'yellow '?

  When I look at my service books, I show only the 3 accounts being synchronized, which I guess is correct. I have just wnt to get cleaned up. I can remove the accts and service books and then add them again, but the 3 files orphans remain. Any suggestions?

  Please help, I just upgraded my mail for the latest software and the mail has stopped working, when I go to the post office set up it says update available for the device, but when I switch the unit to new email set up the version of the application 6.11.0419.0755 the phone then freezes on reboot screen. Why this phenomenon happens and is it possible to use the current mail set up, and no upgrade.

  My initial error message to come after I updated my Blackberry to the new OS6, I went to my email setup, and he says "search for updates"
