• Drive access denied when opening PDF files

  I noticed this on adobe Reader Versions XI and DC. What happens is whenever someone tries to open a pdf file that has name of file path is greater than 217 characters they will receive the error 'Access denied.' rename the file or move it to a path that has character < = 216 characters users can then open. If you try to save to the location it will appear to have saved, will throw any errors, does not save everything simply.

  I upgraded the drive to the new generation of DC. Tested on a new installation of Windows 8.1, I had at my disposal and tested it on all computers 15ish which give the same result. With different PDF documents are both on the internet and made by me using

  I also have a problem when opening acrobat and I click on tools without waiting first a couple of minutes, Acrobat chrashes with a message not responding.

  I found that it is the Pitstop Pro plugin that is causing the crash. Without the plugin, it works fine. But as soon as the plugin is in the plugins folder, it starts to get blocked.

However, I have tested all other applications that I mentioned in my previous answer by a remark: If you aim to simplify the mesh, they are all extremely complex. Perhaps, the only suitable for the layman is Rhino rhinoceros - downloads; it provides an export utility where users can select several options to reduce the number of nodes. Also look at the script environment: I could quite easily find a way to generate scripts in Blender and MeshLab to process a batch of files without the GUI, but I didn't do it with Rhino, but I see it has script capabilities Rhinoceros - overview and Developer: rhinoscript [McNeel Wiki]

  It is quite possible. Acrobat Pro, open the file, click Properties, and then view initial tab set the zoom to 100% and save the file.

  For windows, right click on the PDF? Open with > choose default program > set Acrobat DC as the default PDF Viewer and click OK.

  This is not related to Acrobat, Microsoft, you can see this problem with Microsoft Word is known: grant access file: cannot open the document: user - Microsoft Community it is a sandbox application. It restricts user with several workflow.

  I created a PDF form using LiveCycle 8.0 who must hide or disable (or the other would be nice) a button when the pdf file is first opened, as there are already entries by the user text in a form field.   It seems that even if the default property is defined (and detected) by the events above before all entries by the user (and saved) text is loaded into the text box on a form fields, so what I'm checking do appear to be capture input by the user to the point that they are triggered.

  Basically, I'm asking how to check for text entered by the user (i.e. is not part of the 'default' text field property) in a text field and then disable or hide a button on the form on the pdf being opened?

  I solved the problem.  My script just wasn't running.  I forgot to open the form in Acrobat Pro and do a ' advanced-> enable usage rights in Adobe Reader.  As soon as I did, everything went very well.

  Please right-click on any PDF on your system, then go to properties > under general, you will find "opens with". Here you will see 'change' option, by clicking on it, wil give you a window from which you can choose the Acrobat Standard XI as a default for PDF files.
