  It's probably a setting in your fun - you use Parallels or Fusion of VM Ware or is it through Bootcamp?

  Dear experts,

  I was faced with a boring issue while installing HP Photosmart C4700 all-in-One Printer series full feature software and driver recently I donwloaded the HP Web site.

  During installation, the window suddenly closes when the' updates'. No error message or anything that might tell us what has gone wrong, it disappears from my screen.

  HP Photosmart C7180 printer does not print the correct colors. All color cartridges are ink. Self-test page print the shows reddish brown in black, dark blue area in zone yellow, nothing in the light areas of cyan, and cyan and clear blue stains in the light areas of magenta and magenta. All the printed words on the page are black.  The printer gives no error code word.   So, here's a strange, my Photosmart C7180 age of 9 months has developed a bad habit to print all pages in landscape mode. I used the printer almost daily for 9 months, but 2 days ago I started to notice this weird quirk when printing multiple-page documents. I can't verify what may have triggered (this software or an OS update) because it is possible that I haven't printed documents several pages for a few weeks. I checked for the OS/App/Firmware updates and checked that I have the latest drivers and software. I restarted the two systems and reset the default settings for the printer.

  I can print a single page in Portrait mode, but if I have 3 pages print the 2nd page comes out in landscape. I can print the 2nd page individually and it is fine. It happens that I print from Microsoft Word, or even if you use the Microsoft Photo Editor or HP Photosmart software.

  I use the TCP/IP connection to print from my laptop Microsoft XP (even though I just checked that this happens when you use Bluetooth as well).

  You talk about the Toshiba Configfree application.
  I don't know why the Setup error appears, but I wouldn't reinstall this tool m.
  You can find it on the page of the Toshiba driver A100 section.
  But there are 3 different satellite A100, so be sure that you have chosen the right way.
  After removing the BONE in addition Configfree & remove programs, you must restart the unit, and then you try to install it again.

• DAQmx Setup error

  I have a brand new with Windows7 - 64 bit.  I installed LV 2010 RT, FPGA and all drivers. No problem.  I then installed LV 2012 with RT, FPGA, a few tools and drivers.  I got an error when installing on DAQmx.  I told him to continue.  Then, I got an error at the end saying that something was not installed correctly.  The two messages are attached below.  I have uninstalled all NOR associated and repeated.  Same result.  I can open and run LabVIEW 2010 and 2012.  I can open MAX.  However, when I attach a USB-6008 to the computer, it is said that the driver is not loaded.  MAX can't see the 6008.  Which, of course, corresponds to the Setup error.  Any ideas how can I fix?

  This problem is often related to anti-virus software. You have any antivirus running on your new computer software? If you do, please try to uninstall DAQmx, disable the active virus scan utility and install the drivers as administrator.

  That's good news. I think you also need to analyze of rootkits being on the right side. So, now:

  Search for rootkits with a program SPECIALLY designed to detect and remove the (aswMBR):

  Download this file to your desktop. Double-click the icon to run the program. When the opportunity to download and install the latest Avast definitions do.

  Run a scan. Results in red indicate that this was not a false positive! Do you need to remove the rootkit (including "FixMBR" if necessary).

  And finally, leave your PC on overnight and search for viruses, using this site:

  Once we are convinced that your PC is clean, here are my instructions (just in case where you still cannot run batch of Geek-Tech file, etc.):

  1. download the installation of SP3 and IE8 (beforehand) files. I prefer to keep these (and other useful files) on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links for the installation files:

  (You can TOTALLY ignore the message "intended for it professionals"!)

  It is VERY important to ensure that Internet Explorer is at the level IE6 before installing SP3. In case you have IE7 or IE8, you must uninstall it / them, using the Control Panel Add / Remove programs. Let us know if you need assistance with this.

  Once again:

  Make sure that IE is IE6 level before installing SP3. You can go directly from IE6 to IE8 after SP3 has been installed.

  2. disconnect Internet. Also unplug all unnecessary devices.

  3. temporarily disable the automatic updates. To do this:

  Start | Control Panel (switch to Classic view if not already selected). Automatic updates

  4 set up a clean boot. The last thing you need is for a program that runs in the background to interfere with these updates! (It happens!) For more information:

• Photosmart C7180 on Windows 7 x 64: big problems

  My Photosmart C7180 faithful went to a near-useless state because I attach to my new desktop running Windows 7 x 64.  I am connected via a wired/usb connection cable. Some of these new antics include:

  • Said solution center it is disconnected when it is not
  • The scanner does not work
  • When I try to print a doc, I receive a partial copy of the doc, plus 5 or 6 sheets of paper with a few random characters, printed at the top.

  I've installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled the latest version of the software as downloaded from the website (v 13.1.0) far too many times.  This does nothing.

  I ran the HP print and scan doctor... the print side says that it works very well (it isn't). the analysis option fails on the driver record, saying that "the scanning driver is unable to communicate with the product.  I followed the instructions to unplug the printer, reconnect, restart the computer several times... even once, it does nothing.

  Anyone out there have any suggestions, other than to transport this thing to the recycling center?

  I would try possibly using another method of connection. Maybe it's the USB cord that is defective. If you have another cord try that, or you can try to set up the printer on your network using a wired Ethernet connection.

  Try this and tell me how it turns out that!
