Setup of Microsoft Windows 5.0 with qt application

Hi all
I developed a GUI application using qt (worm 5.3.2). now, I want to release it as an installation package for windows. I know that there are so many 3rd party tools that will create/build the package for my program to install the application. Windows provides also officially some SDK (called the package windows install 5.0) to create packages on windows platform, so instead of using any third party tool 3 I want to use the Microsoft SDK to create my Installer application.
I want to know that is it possible?
As I read somewhere that using windows install, you only create packages for applications which will be build in VC ++

This issue is beyond the scope of this site and must be placed on Technet or MSDN

You can reinstall and reactivate on the same machine as many times as you want. You may need to reactivate by phone after the 5th time.

  • Windows 7 problems with gel applications, programs stop working until you restart

Windows 7 is a stupid IDEA! . Since then, I have installed windows 7 64-bit on my 64-bit machine. I had problems. Programs to decide that they will not open until I restart. IE and Firefox both freeze when all Web sites are trying to load a video. Also other programs will just stop working and turn off while they don't reopen until I restart again. I installed 7 as an upgrade not a clean install, I'm not sure how to go about backup up files for that. I'm also extremely ready to roll back to Vista, I have not had ANY problems with him. I am also about to throw my laptop through a wall with windows 7 and microsoft. Thank you for another piece of trash! (and headaches). With all that money, you would think they can actually DO SOMETHING RIGHT!. I have now lost $120 on garbage, might as well use windows 7 CD as a Brawler of ice this winter.

    PS everyone has ideas?

    TechBuff48

Rants are part of the dealing with technology. As long as they are against the technical and personal equipment no technical, I think we've all been there. Ironically, two days after my message praising Win7, I had a spontaneous reboot that seems to be associated with a known issue with the sensitivity of kernel-power. I was able to reproduce twice, so I think I have a work around until the bug is addressed.

OK, back on topic. If you have a version to the retail/TMC, you should be able to perform a clean installation with the option to format the drive; then, the fun of reloading everything from scratch and to restore from a backup. I'm not promoting a particular site, but this one

    http://www.winsupersite.com/Win7/clean_install_upgrade_media.asp
    or
    http://community.winsupersite.com/blogs/Paul/archive/2009/10/23/clean-install-Windows-7-with-upgrade-media-the-answer.aspx
    or
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/31402-clean-install-upgrade-Windows-7-version.html
    or
    http://answers.Yahoo.com/question/index?QID=20091022164612AAAJ4kM

There are also other tools available to start from a CD or a DVD and then format the drive in NTFS, reinstall it from scratch. But you must have a DVD very convenient for loading eligible upgrade then Win 7.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite P70-A-112 - Windows 8 - Bug with the Application Manager & display

    Hello

I bought this Toshiba laptop in August with 8 (64-bit) windows integrated.

It all started yesterday, when Windows has crashed due to a "BAD_POOL_HEADER" error Since then, I can't access the "Start" menu in Windows 8, can't run all the applications related to this tablet - like menu. For example, I can't even open a photo more or cannot open a PDF with Acrobat Reader.

    My problem is twhreefold:
First of all, it seems that the app Manager doesn't seem to work when I start the computer. And this application manager seems to be required to operate the start menu.

Secondly, I can't access the settings of my computer with my cursor on the upper right, making it impossible to shut down my computer in the normal way.

Third, when I managed to restart my computer, I get most of the time to a black background and just an image of non-working image of the quickbar at the bottom of the screen. Nothing works.

Oddly, the only way I found to "solve" this problem is by pluging - in a second screen. However, it is simply a temporary solution: whenever I plug off the second screen, the nightmare starts again.

Could you please help me identify exactly the problem and help me solve it?

    Thank you very much.

    > According to other forums on the net, it could be a hard drive problem.

Yes, probably its problem of memory. I think that the modules of memory must be tested.

    > What to do?
    Your laptop is new. Right?
This means that the guarantee is valid and should be fixed the hardware problems under conditions of warranty.
In my opinion you should like your ISP for assistance.

I'm tempted to "solve" the problem, but am looking to better understand what this might mean benign or malicious way >

    Any ideas?

    Sorry, I can't send a screenshot

I hope that someone will be able to give some assistance soon, but in the meantime, have you asked on the Spybot forum?

Yes.  It is a tool on demand and not in real time thus creates no problems or conflicts with the other application in real time, including Kaspersky Antivirus.

  • Is it possible to get my HP b109 a - m to work with the Microsoft Windows 8 Preview version yet?

Is it possible to get my HP b109A-m to work in Microsoft Windows 8 Preview version yet?

I could not use the Windows 7 drivers, are there plans to make Windows 8 drivers for it yet?, or I need to obtain the new printer?
I installed it in Windows 7, as a second OS, again but want to work in Windows 8, when this is possible also.

Be that Windows 8 is in a phase of preview and not an official release, its possible that all functions of the printer is not available. This seems to be the issue with your scanner. As far as I know, the print drivers will be after the official release of Microsoft Windows 8. In the meantime, I would order all Windows 8 specific to Board Windows 8 Preview issue.

    Take care

My Cookie file was corrupted in data and my programs continually pop up with the 'corrupt file' error when a program opens, pointing to \Users\name\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies.

The problem is, Chkdsk will not fix this, and I can't access the file. This opens up a world of problems when I need to fix this error, so I can upgrade to Windows 7. Help, please!

I just ran the scan again. He said of the errors found, but could not be repaired.

This problem actually has nothing to do with internet explorer. It's the cookies folder that is corrupt in the Windows folder in roaming. The error file is in conjunction with the programs, that I try to run (AIM, Skype, so forth). Trying to enter the folder it says it's corrupt. I don't know what is the root of the problems or how to solve this problem, but these measures have not helped so far. Regarding the repair, I will try that next.

Here is a picture. This is the error of the lower right

It's what the tool SFC to see system files corrupted and try to repair the system files.
    SFC could not fix it.
