• Error handling in QMH projects with several sources of error

  Hi guys,.

  I have a head scratcher:

  QMH architecture, I have a state machine that describes a certain task of legislation on different instruments.

  Each of these instruments has its own message loop vi management and each of these loops could cause errors.

  I want to pass these errors to the state machine (VI main if you want) in order to take appropriate action or - at least - inform the user what the error instrument came. Currently, I use a global variable for each error source and merge errors in primary VI.

  Problem: Multiple errors, only the one connected to the first entry of the fusion VI errors is displayed.

  What is the best way to get errors from several sources to level superior screw and keep all the error information for debugging purposes?

  I am trying to create a magazine layout Builder. In doing so, I have several PNG files in a blank publication.  I put it right now so that whenever you click on a trigger target Exchange with a different design element.  However, the point of my Configurator is to show how the different elements together, look what means that I have several active triggers at the same time in order to see how to watch them together.  Is there a way to do this?

  I don't think this is a feature that is available in the widget of blank publication provided by muse - there may be an external widget that can do the trick. However, if you want to try to work around him with the blank publication widget, I used this workaround solution myself:

  1. In one layer, make a widget of composition with the single trigger
  2. With layer a locked switch to two layer and do another composition directly on your first widget
  3. Be sure to check "hide target: with click" and "hide all initially" to the two widgets

  The 6123 does not support the detection of change, so the best course of action is probably to use an external RC (or NORMAL) door with 4 inputs.  You can connect your signals to the doorways or, and then use the signal to trigger your DAQ hardware.  If you use a NOR Gate, then you would trigger on the falling edge.

  The "additional material" is really just a simple IC.  You will probably find something that meets your needs on digikey (search example below parameters):

  I acquire several records of six 6561 cards.  Why I can't write TDMS files, should I change the format to something the TDMS file will accept?  What is the format that would be?

  Has anyone seen an example of multi-check continuous acquisition?  Is this possible?  I want to get the number of records more that the amount of on-board memory can accommodate.

  Thus, the reason for which the string name of the input string becomes an input array when we wire in the Digtal waveform data is because the table of digital data in the cluster comprising its waveform creates a new string in the TDMS file for each row of data in the table. If the digital data has been compressed, you get always 1 channel per data line and an additional channel (the first string) for the command.

  If all this you by gliding, and I wouldn't blame I had to reread several times myself, then I recommend you simply play with the vewier of TDMS files to get an idea of how channels are created.

• Clip of MultiCam, but with audio from SEVERAL sources at the same time?

  I recorded a seminar using several audio and video sources. Audio sources include a wire tie, room microphone and read directly from a computer.

  I got all the raw materials imported into FCPX and created a multicam clip, and everything is synchronized perfectly.

  For the video, I know how to make the cut between my different cameras.

  But for audio, I would be able to play several audio channels at once - namely, lapel mic and the mic to the audience. How can I do this?

  I know I could put the multicam audio clip: setback (for example) then also drag the microphone to the audience for the game. But that means every time I make an edit, I have to make it through two sources and must be absolutely sure that they fall never out of sync.

  I guess I could drag the multicam clip in the timeline twice (one above the other, so two are playing simultaneously), with a video source set to none. But the same problem - I always have to be very careful with the changes, two parallel versions never move out of sync.

  Is there a better way to do it?

  There are also sometimes I can do some automation of the volume of the different channels... so everything what you are proposing, please keep this in mind.

  In fact with a multicam clip you need not "stuff" to work with multiple audio. It has excellent support directly in the application.

• Create the header package or body of several sources in 11 G files?

  I am new to Oracle and although the concept of a package is quite simple (I think than just DLL), it seems terribly cumbersome to have to put all the code for the header or body of a package in a single file. I have a few hundred functions and procedures in the package and it would be nice to be able to split the source into multiple files. I was not able to find a reference to this feature anywhere. Is this possible?

  You want to have hundreds of functions and procedures in the same package?
  A lot of people would create several packages, each with less procedures.

  You can call one script from another. Just put a line containing

  If you use two @ signs instead of one, it means that the file is located in the same folder as the appellant.

  (1) a main script, which calls (2), (3) and (4) and grants privileges
  (2) a script to create the head of package
  (3) a script to create the package body

  Only (1) is called a full path name with a single sign. @ all others are called using the @ and the simple name of the script.

  Being new discoverer but familiar with most large tools like Cognos, BO BI, MicroStrategy etc, I have a question about the generation of reports with multiple data sources. Can the discoverer be directed towards several databases (for example MS SQL and Oracle) to a single report or the semantic layer? If I want a report on the activities of the client and a part of this activity is in each database, I can join the database tables (4 or 5 or N number of tables) on the appropriate identification fields and create a single layer for the writers of the report to look? How many sources can I enroll?

  Hello

  Discoverer uses a Layer (EUL) of the end user who is a semantic layer for reports and is stored in a set of tables in an Oracle database. The only way that discoverer may report multiple sources of data is to use a configuration of database links in the Oracle database that point to other data sources. You can then select the data sources when you map files in the EUL. Once files are set up you can report it to the coast of multiple data sources.

  Hi, sort again at the sight of lab but I'm looking at some old lab view code that has an array of integers 8 bits with 8 values inside that is connected to a DIO VI writing.  Is just a few questions, there a way to know if writing DIO VI is a view lab Vi or VI created by a user? Also the DIO is the NI PCI-6533, 32-bit card and there is the array of 8-bit integers has 8 elements inside it would be the the map first write the first 4 elements at the same time (first element of bits 0-7, bits 8 to 15 seconds, ect) and then the last 4 items in the table or would be writing DIO VI will have to run twice once for the first 4 values and, once again, for the last 4?

• Several sources of data for Dimension - Fragmentation

  I have a requirement where I have 2 tables to a dimension, say a customer table. Table Customer has information for all customers except those that begin by me '. Customer_M table has information for all customers whose names begin with M. when I pull the measure by the fact, he should get the customer information in the tables.

  I tried to implement the content of Fragmentation as well as data source with a check mark on "this source must be combined with other sources at this level." It does not work.

  What I am doing wrong.

  Usually the Fragmentation is to go when sources with the same structure and with different data, in your case I don't see same structure.

  This might be the reason why you're not able to get as expected.

• Several events triggered by a change

  Now trigger several events with changing a field to single user. In Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS, I have defined the field twice and associated with two different events. My search looks like:

  Key code	Decode
  USR_FIRST_NAME	Change of name
  USR_FIRST_NAME	Change of name
  ...	...

  It works perfectly, but it seems that the duplicate key of Code to randomly disappear after awhile, leaving me with a single entry for USR_FIRST_NAME. Is this normal? Is there another way to make a single field 2 events fire?

  You're hurting.  You should have that key in code duplication.  Here's what you can do however.

  Key = USR_FIRST_NAME code decode = change of name

  Now on your definition of the process, as long as the task starts with "change of name" you can add as many instances as you want.  You can create the following tasks and they will all trigger:

  Change of name

  Change of name - full name

  Change of name - display name

  Change of name - Email address

  Just the first part of the questions.

  This logical dimension has columns from 2 different physical tables, TableA and TableB. The relationship between TableA to TableB is 1 to zero.
  
  There are 2 ways to create the logical dimension:--
  1) go to the properties of logical TableA table-> then source it + sign click and then add the right outer join TableB, tableA with.
  We see here a tableA table in the logical table source.
  (2) so that we have 2 logical table source, drag the column tableB.
  
  Please try to explain without using the concept of fragmentation and without taking into account the fact tables. I have a question for the simple logical dimension only tables.
  
  I wanted to know which is the right path and what requirement/factor decides what to do?
