  I bought a new laptop from hp 15-ac120TU Online and I'm not able to find the VGA port in my laptop. But the manual that came with the laptop have a VGA port to its peak. But in the specs of the laptop online has no VGA port mentioned in it. Is there really an available for this laptop VGA port.

• Ports missing in Deviuce Manager

  When I try to HotSync my Palm Pilot (last fact successfully less than a week ago and no change since I know the computer), I get a message saying that COM5 is in use. The Palm Pilot uses COM3. When I go to Device Manager to try to fix this, I find that the 'Ports' are listed are no longer under the Device Manager. How can I fix it? Thank you.

• Limit on SGE2010 port mirroring?

  I was told that there is a limit (8) on the number of source ports that can be mirrored on a given destination port. I can find no specification or other documents to substantiate this claim. Someone at - it of factual data to confirm or refute this assertion?

  Hey Gumby, that is correct, there is a maximum limit of 8. However, as you note, the documentation is hardly, in fact sheet and admin data guide does not say it.

  For a long time, we had a very controversial case, we had a customer very angry because he had an old switch SRW2048. The old SRW allowed all ports to use for a PERIOD. However, its power switch died because of old age, and he received a SG300 switch. The SG300 supports up to 8 for the DURATION as well.

  When the customer discovered that, he was quite unhappy... So I made an inquiry to find out if one of our switches would behave like the old end of life / end of switch sales in the present, what concerns. The answer is no, including the standard EMS/SFE models.

  However, you can also monitor any VLAN. So it shouldn't be too much a problem to cover almost as much traffic as you want.

  Good afternoon all

  I have a 24port SGE2000P and a 48 SGE2010 port.

  My SGE2000P works brilliantly.

  However, my SGE2010 is very bad.  When turned on all the lights of the port rest for awhile.  Then they turn off very briefly and a battery lights before the power clique and it reboots and starts the cycle again.

  I connected it to a cable from the console and reports a variety of decompression errors.

  Most common are: -.

  LZMA: Decompression of file failed!

  HOSTG_rscode_file_load: cannot load the file

  % OS-A-MEMORY: main system memory Pool overflow

  % ERHG-E-SEND: return to the DEFAULT size of the TABLEs

  % ERHG-E-SEND: RSP_INIT: fatal error

  Error fatal file 20d0001.SW loaded error;

  Depending on which firmware the switch is on and which mode (stacking or stand-alone), it is.

  I tried to change the firmware for: -.

  3.0.0.17

  3.0.0.18

  3.0.1.0

  using both Console cable (sigh 25mins) and through TFTP server (on rare occasions I managed to enter).  And I tried the two image of sw 1 and 2 where one of them was defective.

  As all 4 of these use the same firmware start the 2.0.0.03 software, which I don't think is replaced as part of the process of the firmware if it's the same thing.  I thought that perhaps it was corrupted.  I tried to install 2.0.7.5 (I think) who has an older startup software.  But it would not downgrade from 3 to 2 allow me.  And it wouldn't make sense that it runs the software before initialization it unpacks the firmware.

  I managed to get away from the switch upwards in stand-alone mode, maybe twice 80-100 cycles of power.  But when I tried to make a change, he crashed and restarted.

  Finally, I realized if I use my SGE2000P as master of the battery, I could get the SGE2010 to start much more regularly than the unit 3.  Still not 100% but maybe 50% of success.

  If I put as unit 2 seems to power cycle and not go up.

  Also, when I set up the stack the stack Master network cable on the SGE2000P SGE2000P IP it gave errors on the console of the SGE2010 port, but did not restart.

  If I tried to access the master IP SGE2000P Stack WebGui interface, while the cable network plugged on the SGE2010 he crashed and restarted the switch when I entered the admin password.

  Hi Ewan, these errors are showing no errors loading and table files. Unless there is a serious component failure through xmodem firmware reload should fix this.

  Since you already xmodem box I would say based on the main system of the pool error, it is probably a failure of a component.

• Can't get into Bios after you enable the sata port

  Hello community,

  I have an Optiplex 755 and added a second hard drive.

  In bios the sata 2 and 3 ports have been disabled, I enabled both because I know not didn t on the port of witch the new drive has been connected.

  After a reboot the system stuck on ' Drive 3 not found: Serial ATA, sata-3.

  When I disconnect the new drive, I get the above message for 2 and 3 of the road car!

  I can only power the system off, the keyboard is not working at the moment. After a reboot, I can select F2 or F12, but the system will be blocked with the same error.

  I tried a third device to the port missing but then there is no error message, but there is only a black screen with a blinking cursor. No chance to get into the bios setup.

  The version of the bios is A08.

  Thank you for compensation for me!

  What may help is to reset the BIOS. To do this, you must follow the steps detailed here: ftp.dell.com/.../optiplex-755_user%27s%20guide_en-us.pdf (search for clearing the CMOS settings).

  Before the passage of the system back on, make sure that the system is in its state of origin (the original hard drive and optical drive). This can allow you to start the operating system successfully and access the configuration of the system as well.

• Invalid Web site URL

  We have WebCenter content as well as Imaging. At one point, we had to enable SSL and not that it is invalid later. The problem we are facing is the URL generated for continuous Web location to use SSL [HTTPS rather than HTTP] and also PORT missing. This only happens for imaging of content. Another WebCenter support generate the correct URL.

  I could solve this problem. I found the solution in My Oracle Support Doc ID 1474536.1

  Solution

  1. go to the > / ucm/cs/data/ipmsys/apps folder.

  2. open the .hda who has a problem with the web site.

  4. There is a parameter called ViewerURLFormat, check if the format of the URL is as expected. If this is not the case, change the URL to match this format:

  http://:/imaging/faces/Pages/UrlTools.jspx? ToolName =& DocumentId = %s

  5. save the changes and restart the two managed servers (content and imagery). The amendment should reflect documents that are uploaded again in the application of Imaging.

  There is no W7 drivers for these devices.  You must use the Vista drivers and if auto installation does not work, you will need to install the drivers manually by navigating to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file from the device in the Device Manager (browse my computer for driver software).

  Hello.

  My unit is transfer 51 asynchronous data bytes in frames (each image to 80ms) on six different channels (ch1, ch2, ch3, ch4 rate 19200 baud and other two ch5, ch6 baud rate 115200) and these data series of six diff is received by my system and it should be checked for any error byte... (as I'm new to labview I programmed a long vi) in which use visa read and process the received data. But now, my real problem starts... until some time that my system will be receive data without no loss but aftr some time (say 15 minutes approximately) data loss starts from the track being baud rate of 115 200 and later other channels begin to do the same... But my system is supposed to run for 4hours for a trial of endurance of a plane... If the data loss is very less in number its OK but 3 of 4 frames then starts missing... it's like losing 75% of data... I enclose a wink of my code... It's just for a single port (in a while loop) I took... Imagine I; did the same thing to rest the port in a single while loop... Please guide me where ive that has gone wrong, or is this something to with time delay... pls help me

  If I understand you correctly, you are looking for e.g. screws, correct?  Have you tried looking at the example Finder LabVIEW?  Examples in LabVIEW, click Help.  "Once in the Finder of the example, for digital i/o, obtained material input and output" DAQmx "digital generation or numerical measures.  Carefully read these files, and you should find something that does what you want.

  Alternatively, you can go to the online community to find, for example, code: www.ni.com/community

• Dell Nvidia Quadro 600 reference - adapter provided by Dell dongle (display port > DVI) is missing entries

  A puzzle - DP > DVI adapter dongle supplied with my refurb Precision T3500 is absent from the entries on the side of DVI. [Both the bag of dongle and the dongle have labels with "DP/N 023NVR" and "CN-023NVR-48570-22M-039X-A00"]

  The card is Nvidia Quadro 600 Dell w / 1 DVI port and 1 DP.

  I want to go to DP to VGA *... so I need a second adapter grafted on the dongle from Dell.

  Missing entries are above and below the long horizontal (spade) of entry. All my DVI > VGA adapters have 2 tiny over the shovel and 2 pins below.

  The DVI port on the card fits those 4 pins.

  The dongle does not work.

  Can I just use the hot pin (heat a PIN and create holes) approach... or DVI use these 4 connections?

  If the latter, why NOT the adapter address these connections?

  If you have Display Port, then you can get a Display port to VGA.

  But they tend to be expensive sometimes more expensive than another monitor that is DVI or VGA vs HDMI
