Shader 3.0 model

Hi, I just installed the game prince of persia: the sands forgotten on my Pc (I'm using a windows 7), but when I try to play the game, this message comes 'your graphics card supports shader model 3.0, which is required for this game', so the game does not load. is it a hardware problem or software? Whats model shader 3.0? How should I do?

Install the latest driver for your graphics to the site of the manufacturer of the chipset.

If this does not work, what graphics card you have?

    What should I do if I bought a game and installed and went to play and he got a pop-up that said it need a shader model 2.0?

    Hello

    What is the name of the game? and what is your graphics card (the name of the model and manufacturer)?

    The Shader model 2.0 is inside the graphics card - I think that your graphics card does not support Shader model 2.0. Look at the minimum hardware required for your game.

  • Tecra A9 PTS52E - can I use pixel & vertex shader?

    Hello!
    Problem: A malfunction on pixel & vertex shader
    Technical data:
    Model: Toshiba Tecra A9 PTS52E
    OS: Vista Business 32-bit
    RAM: 4 GB
    Chipset: 965 PM
    Graphics: (probably: X 3100)

    Details: Install some games (not new) it pops up the window that my graphics card is not shader pixels. I think - WTF - X 3100 and I965 Chipset families graphics cards have pixel shader - download graphics driver is useless-> graph avaible only version of the map is only on the Toshiba.com: 7.14.10.1244 - and this version too, I installed on my computer. Intel (WTF) does not support my chipset (965 PM)

    Question: Is there way/solution to update my graphics driver and be happy with pixelshadering & vertexshadering my games?

    Hello

    Theoretically the Intel X 3100 graphics card supports Pixel - and Vertexshader 4.0 because it s DirectX 10 graphics card.

    In your case, I would try the new driver to display on the Intel site. Download the latest version and install it but first remove the old driver.

    In addition, it would be interesting to know what you are trying to play the games. Don t forget that Intel adapters are not the best for games and perhaps the games doesn t support this card.

  • Model as a member.

    Hello

    I wonder if there is a way in which I can enter member (snapshot) one model in a 3D and create a static image of it. I can stage.image the 3D Member, but I would still fairer to the model that I'd be looking to enter soften it. Still more would be nice to include an alpha to the Member to knock out the background if the model was an odd shape.

    If there is an xtra or a method to do this, I would be creatful to someone who can point me in the right direction.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Bravo, Simon.

    As far as I know, only the default camera to a 3D Member will produce the "member("3D").image." But you can set the size of the image with the "defaultrect" of the 3D member property. The 3D member doesn't have to be on stage.

    If you want to get an image that has the size of 1024 x 1024 you would first set the "defaultrect" of the 3D-member.

    Member("3D").defaultrect = Rect (0,0,1024,1024)
    Member("3D").regpoint = point (512,512) - just to keep the Center in the Middle, would be wise to use variables here...

    Byte = member("3D").image

    or the faster would be to initially create an image and then use copypixels.

    Byte property
    ...
    pImage = image (1024,1024,24)

    ... - later in the script where you want to copy the image of the 3D member in your bitmap image...
    pImage.copyPixels (pmember.image, pimage.rect, pmember.rect)

    to generate the alpha channel, I think you would have used two images, one with a white background and a black model. Simply apply a black shader in your model (and its children) and make the screenshot. Then use a jargon of imagery to add the alpha channel to the coloured version.

  • Satellite A300 - need a new graphics card driver to play the game

    Hello.

    I have a little problem,
    I have the game of simulation of tractor and I'll start the following error message:

    Error: Not impossible not init 3D System.
    Shader 2.0 model is necessary
    Please install the latest video drivers.

    I install some drivers on my computer, that I found on the Toshiba site, but still you can't and don't know what to do with it.

    Could someone help me please?

    Hello

    The error is obvious; the game can not start and run due to the graphic driver.
    I guess that you will need the most recent version.

    I think you should check your graphics card chip and search on some 3rd party pages for the other version of the Toshiba driver page driver driver won't help you.

  • Upgrade to a new video card

    I have a Firebird 802, model GM339AA - ABA with a video card which is a Nvidia nForce 760i SLI.

    I find the video card does not have the minimum requirements for a next game, Guild Wars 2, and although it works well for other games I I don't want to try and replace it with a better video card.

    When I opened the machine, I can't say (it's my first HP) if the current map is something I can replace myself or replaced with a better video card.  My computer model allows components like the video card to be replaced without having to send it back to HP (it is more under warranty)?

    Your stock Firebird 802 easily surpasses the minimum specifications of GPU for Guild Wars 2:

    NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800, ATI X 1800, Intel HD 3000 or better (256 MB of video RAM and shader 3.0 model or better)

    The fire bird has done three GPU. The nForce 760i SLI GPU THAT is integrated with the motherboard chipset and it is very low for most of the games. There are also some style portable two GeForce 9800 S GPU that normally run in 2 - way SLI and are much stronger. If you see only the nForce 760i SLI on your computer try to install the drivers in my signature. They are the latest Nvidia drivers that support the bird of fire s GPU 2 - way SLI mode, out.

    Guild Wars 2 must now run in simple mode of GPU on one of the two 9800 S GPU which should be much faster than the 760i SLI GPU. You can open the Nvidia Control Panel and go to the page manage 3D settings to create a Guild Wars 2 game profile and select one to use SLI mode. SLI mode afr2 seems to work for the games better, I tried.

    If you see this post I would like to know how it goes. I wrote a long message on the upgrade of the Firebird GPU but the forum has eaten so I'll keep this one short.

    Hello!

    In recent years I have regularly used Illustrator. I have CS4, fully updated version.

    I'm currently trying to create a pattern scratched complex to use as a fill, consists of a solid background (with a glow effect broadcasts photoshop) and then stroked stripes (of a downloaded pack brush).

    The problem I have is that I need to the central section of the brush (as the ends are narrower) so the brush stroke encompassing is too wide for my boss. If I try to erase the ends, or or the other arrow allows to shorten the race, he brings just narrow end in my band essentially trying to ruin the entire look.

    When I apply a clipping mask, it makes everything look right, but it does not work with the shades of the model as it is always read the brush stroke, encompassing the area for the model, which is absolutely not what I want!

    I put a screenshot below, the orange bands consist of brush strokes 5 each (technically, I used the online tool), but I need the pattern tile to be only chestnuts box section.

    I hope this makes sense.

    Please help me!

    Thank you

    Drag your graphic design in the Swatches palette to create your template. After back on the canvas, and then drag the nuance. Now there is a pre-emergent box when the limits of the work without attributes. with the direct Selection tool, select this box and resize it to fit the area you want to be your model. Drag the new artwork in the swatch palette.

  • Interaction with a 3D Cube

    I m development of a Web page where it should be a 3D cube, and each of its faces has point to another URL. I have already built and shaded the cube. I also coded in the part of the rotation of the cube. But I've always found the part where the click on a certain face lead me to a specified URL.

    I wrote this code in order to find the way to see the face that was clicked:

    ****************************************************************************************** *****************************************

    on mouseUp me
    returnData = .modelsUnderLoc member("3D").camera [1] (the mouseLoc, #detailed)
    Member ("TXTcara"). Text = 'You clicked on face' & & .faceID returnData [1]
    end

    ****************************************************************************************** ***************************************
    where TXTcara is a textfield on the stage where I print what a face has been clicked

    But he always tells me that I clicked on the side 1 or 2. I mean a cube has 6 sides... and copy the following code declares that she has two!

    How I can certainly find out face that has been clicked?

    The cube was built like a box.

    the face is the polygon and not the face of the cube.
    If you use the built-in modelresource.ca each face of the cube has a separate shader (watch it models shaderlist). I am sure, that you are going to assign different shaders faces different clickable cube. so, you need get the shader that was clicked on.
    This information is the #meshID of the collection of data that is returned by the functions of collection (modelunderloc and modelunderray), if the #detailed value.

    so in your case:

    on mouseUp me
    returnData = .modelsUnderLoc member("3D").camera [1] (the mouseLoc, #detailed)
    Member ("TXTcara"). Text = "You clicked on face" & .meshID returnData [1]
    end

    I assume that your statement is a sample quick to point the problem, but just in case... you should check, if a model was hit in the first place and the above behavior is often on the 3D sprite and if you have only a camera you could get out with all code it hard (member name, camera index etc.) with :

    on mouseUp me
    SP = sprite (me.spritenum)
    ml = the mouseLoc - point (sp.left, sp.top)
    Cam = sp.camera
    returnData = cam.modelsUnderLoc (ml, #detailed)
    If count (returnData) > 0 then member("TXTcara").text = "You clicked on face" & .meshID returnData [1]
    end

  • A30 w/ATI Mobility Radeon graphics adapter use Shader Model 2?

    I have Windows XP sp3 on my A30. Try to install something for my son, but he says that it is unable to run because it requires a graphics card that supports Shader Model 2.

    Are there new drivers that would work?... is .or impossible for me to hope for this configuration supports Shader Model 2?

    Thank you!!!

    Welcome to the forum!

    ATi Radeon 7000, which has been used in the units of the A30 is * very * long in the tooth by today's standards and there is not much that can be done on its performance or lack thereof.

    The 'latest' driver's eight, according to IBM/Lenovo:

    http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?docid=DS024264

    These machines are still OK for light use of navigation and office, the GPU is still their biggest bottleneck.

    Good luck.

  • Game room requires a video card that supports shader model 3.0 your video card does not meet these requirements

    I downloaded Microsoft Games for Windows - Live. I then downloaded & installed the game games room. When I tried to play it I got this error: game room requires a video card that supports shader model 3.0 your video card does not meet these requirements: How can I fix? Will this work? http://www.download3k.com/system-utilities/system-maintenance/download-graphics-card-driver-update.html

    Hello Ann42633,

    If you have not changed the video card that you purchased your computer, you can visit the Dell Web site and use the service tag to determine the video card.

    In addition, you can locate the type of video card you have by the following text:

    -Click Start

    -Type Device Manager into the start menu search box, press enter

    -Develop graphics cards

    You must also obtain the appropriate driver from the Dell Web site and update your video card.

    Hope this helps

  • Nobody knows what a shader model 3.0? I'm tempted to play the fuel on my laptop (PC game) and whenever I click to run, an error window reading "shader 3.0 necessary...". "appears.

    Quite new too; just released this year.

    Impressive graphics and all that jazz

    Hi Gjosh,

    Thank you for visiting Microsoft answers.

    A pixel shader is a set of program codes that is usually built into a graphics chipset and drivers. Its purpose is to allow more realistic light on 3d models, generally effects for games. You get this error because your video card does not include native support for pixel shader. It is possible to emulate the pixel shader using third-party software, if you have a fast processor and a good amount of RAM.

    I would say either you contact the manufacturer of your graphics card to download Shader 3.0 and install the same or you can use the Internet to search using your favorite search engine and download and install the same.

    IMPORTANT : Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be resolved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

    Kind regards

    Hi Yagimc,

    What is the model of the graphics card?

    To play SIM 3, the graphic card must meet the following requirements:

    DirectX 9 compatible .0c card with 128 MB RAM (NVIDIA FX 5900/ATI 9500 or better) and support for Pixel Shader 2.0.

    You can contact Intel support to check if your graphics card supports the above features.
