Shading of a cell and adding a chart above/below a paragraph

Hi all -

I create a two column table and a line for the examples. For the left column, I created light gray shading for 30%. For the tag paragraph in that same column, I import a framework, which contains the word "Example", since the reference page. To do this, I selected the Advanced tab in the paragraph designer and selected the framework that I created on the reference page in the list of the drop down box below FMP...

The image appears in the column of the table, but it seems that the word 'Example' background is not transparent. Thus, the cell shading is blackened by the framework of the reference page. See the file attached .gif.

Can anyone provide ideas to either make the transparent framework, or adding shading to the framework? Thank you!

Getting back to your original question, I did a few tests. On the reference page, select the image containing the word example. Then set in the drawing tools, its pattern fill to none; This makes the transparent framework.

In my tests, I created a graphic image with filling of None and inserted a line of text inside. This method works.

You can also create a block of text within the graphic image and also set the fill pattern of the block of text votes to zero. This also works.

Apparently, even if you create a block of text to the reference page, FrameMaker does not name; Therefore, does not allow it in designer paragraph as a frame above / below. But create a graphic image with fill to none DOES not work.

    A way to create a style of stoke (Stripe type) with a small percentage of height up and downstairs dedicated to scratches, then apply the color out in the dialog whn would you apply the contour to your net of paragraph style. The downside to this is that the 'weight' of the two lines can vary when you change the weight of the actual race.

    To avoid this and still be able to ge the fill to expand the width of column, you can use a 1-cell table, or you could use rules above and below and underscore cutom for filling and key line with a tabulation of withdrawal right. If you need space on the left, as shown in the illustration, you would probably need a tab on the left as well, instead of a dash.

    Break the problem into small steps:

    Step 1. All separators (periods and asterisks) convert the asterisks.

    Formula in B2 (fill down)

    = SUBSTITUTE(A2,".","*")

    Step 2. Find the position of an asterisk in each cell.

    Formula in C2 (fill down)

    = FIND("*",B2)

    Step 3. Extract everything to the right of the asterisk.

    Formula in D2 (fill down)

    = RIGHT (B2, LEN (B2) −C2)

    Step 4. Convert the text to numbers re using the VALUE function.

    Formula in E2 (fill down)

    VALUE = (D2)

    This table has a header row and footer of the line, so the SUM in E9 apply to all cells in the body.

    = SUM (E)

    You can combine the individual forms in a unique and complex formula, or simply to hide intermediate columns B, C and D:

    The problem is that I have to name and define as input a lot of cells, while MS Office report Express VI allows only 25 named cells and 17 entries.

    Here's a technique I use with the GTA.  Suppose you know the cell you want to put something, and you want to put.  For example, you want to put 'My text' in cell B4 and want to put "Pi =" and (number) 3.14 in cells adjacent C8 and D8.  Here is the code to do this (explanation below):

    The 'Get Excel rental' function will be an Excel cell ID, as B4 and translate online and column (offset 0) numbers.  If it is to group together, they become the 'address of the cell' who wants the easy table Excel function.  However, the easy Table needs a 2D picture, and we have that one value - no problem, simply pass through the table to build twice to make a 2D table 1 by 1.  Now, you can use Easy Table to put this unique value ("my text") in cell (B4) you want.

    I did a similar thing with "Pi =" and put it in the cell C8.  However, since I want the following value to enter in the next cell (right), I use the output of simple Table, 'next cell-top right', to indicate where the number 3.14 should go.

    (We use 5 x external hard drives for our backup schedule).

    I removed the defective drive and added a new using the correct wbadmin command.

    Now, everything works fine except that the backup now ends at 0831 considering that with the old disk, it would end to 0600.

    There is no any difference about this disc is in the USB docking station - it's just to take 2.5 hours more than previously on all players.

    Starting backup to 2100.

    What can I do to bring it back up to its initial speed?

    I have recently upgraded to Windows 7 and the process for adding some of my old material has been an interesting question. Who made me stuck is to be able to access my network scanners "mailboxes shared" in order to recover my scans.

    The product in question is a large format Xerox 6204 printer/scanner. The installation process for the basic print server run the 6204 as a network printer went relatively smoothly and seems to work as expected. However, the problem arises when I want to use the functionality of scan of the 6204. Scans are stored in mailbox store ' ' on the 6204 and must be retrieved by a piece of software Xerox called "wide Format Scan Service. This program essentially connects to mailboxes mailbox via the IP address of the 6204 on the network and from there should allow me to download the scans on my Windows 7 computer. Unfortunately, in order to connect to the mailbox store I am currently disable the firewall of Windows 7 altogether.

    I tried to add the Service to Scan large Format to the list of allowed programs, which gives an "impossible to connect to 6204' error. I tried to add the program to inbound and outbound rules manually, even though my experience with this is limited, with the same error. So leave the default settings in the wizard, I also tried to use the technical netstat to find out what are the ports, the software used and adding them to specific ports in the properties of the rules - all without success.

    For now, I'm stuck the point of having to run my installation of Windows 7 without a firewall to use my scanner large format, which is obviously an undesirable situation. If anyone can offer help or advice on how I can solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

    On my old computer (XP), I used app fast backup protection to back up my files to an external drive, Iomega hosted Media Network Hard (2 TB).  I have a new Dell PC with Windows 7 (64 bit) OS.  With the help of a cable I copied all the files from my XP to Windows 7 computer.  All the files on the external hard drive, copied to a "network".  I am able to view all the folders of the Iomega file, but I can't back up my files to protect fast has not been improved to work w/Win 7.  Quick protect is divided into 6 different discs (photo-U, V-ActiveFolders, W-Music, X-backups, Public-Y, Z-movies), Iomega recommends using backup Windows and restore.  "Before you start this process, I would like to know if Windows Backup and Restore will copy a new set of files and adding to what is there in the folder backup previous Player X or if it will start a"new"backup" folder on drive X.
