  Unfortunately not... you can not show USB devices to virtual machines. Try to use tools such as "USB Anywhere" to USB for VMS using the network.

• How can I set sharing of files between two iMacs?

  I want to set up the sharing of files between two iMacs in my office. Both work on iOS 10.11.3 and both are on the same WiFi network. I'll Finder, select the name of the other computer under 'sharing', then ' connect under... ". ", and then enter the name and password of the other computer. On a computer, I am told that it is connected with each other. However, the second computer always shows "the connection failed". I tried the 'Registered user' choice of "Guest" and "using Apple ID", but none will establish the connection. There must be something obvious that I'm missing, but I wasn't able to find out. I also tried to see if they would communicate with Bluetooth. Bluetooth screens on each computer show the the other is detectable by the proper name, but is never establish a connection.

  I don't think there is a way to link the two accounts iCloud in photos.app library.

  However, my partner and I are in the same situation as you and your spouse: two phones, a MacBook Pro (MBP) and the need to share the photos with others and to optimize the space of our digital camera shots.

  In short, we use the following:

  -Two Photos.app libraries; one on each user profile

  -Two photos of iCloud albums; one for each phone (each of download us the best of our photos of the iPhone) shared with the other

  -A system of photo files referenced on an external hard drive for our digital camera

  -An album to iCloud for digital camera (again, for the best DSLR shots) shared with each other

  With this configuration, we can display each other best shots on all Apple devices through the iCloud sharing feature, and you can see all of our DSLR photos without cluttering the internal SSD.  This system is also convenient when you backup using time machine (configured to capture the MBP and external hard drive), because only one instance of the photo should be saved.

  My only complaint is that files referenced photo can not be uploaded to iCloud photo library a user directly, even if the referenced files will be shown along the iPhone photos side in the Photos.app (hence the need for a DSLR iCloud photo album).

I am currently working on a project where I have to deal with the problem mentioned in the thread topic: I have a PC with LabVIEW RT which must be able to establish network connections using two different network cards. One will be used to connect via TCP/IP to a host computer that will show you the data transmitted through variables shared; the other communicates with another PC via the Modbus Protocol. The key is that each communication is done through a separate network card.

  So far I could not understand how to set up these two things happen. Does anyone know how to do this? Advice will help you.

  For communication of RT, I use a project of RT standard, with the RT PC, given one of the IPs, and for the part of Modbus, I created a server I/O with a master and a slave. Separately, everything works fine, but when I get them together it does not work.

  Sorry it took me so long to answer, I've been busy lately... I found a solution to this problem that I mentioned, and just in case anyone has similar problems in the future, I will briefly describe what happened.

  Caseyw suggested, he had to allow both NICs through the measurement and Automation Explorer. The cause of the failure of connections was in fact that I was not using the 'right' for Modbus communication, which was rolled out on the secondary card. The solution was to use the URL Protocol with the correct path in the field, addressing the right IP address. To avoid making this post a mixture of subjects, I do more futher, but I got the gist of it, so if someone has similar problems when I work with multiple network cards or Modbus communication protocols, do not hesitate to contact me, I'll be happy to help you.

  I accidentally deleted BISystem role of Application of Console. But, went through couple of posts and recreated the Application role, and characterized by the BISystemUser to the role.

  In short, I did the procedure below.

  1. stop BI Service

  2. create a role and a member with the user BISystem

  3. Add the policy to the role

  •Oracle.bi.Scheduler.manageJobs

  •Oracle.bi.Server.queryUserPopulation, it not appear in the list you can add it manually using following parameter

  permission class: oracle.security.jps.ResourcePermission

  Resource type: oracle.bi.server.permission

  Name of the resource: oracle.bi.server.queryUserPopulation

  Action: subject

  • oracle.bi.server.impersonateUser, it does not appear in the list you can add it manually using following parameter

  permission class: oracle.security.jps.ResourcePermission

  From now on, you can have a single (unique) signer who can esign Widgets online. If your second signatory is fixed, then counter signer is the best option. Apart from that, it is not possible to have two different esigners who continue to change. I took this as a feedback however.

  I'm having trouble mapping a group LDAP to the role of the Complutense University of MADRID.
  Let me explain the situation.
  
  I have an external LDAP (Apache DS) with two groups (groupofuniquenames), 'Administrators' and 'Test' and two users 'ldap_admin' and 'ldap_user '. ldap_admin is a uniqueMember administrators and the ldap_test a test uniqueMember.
  
  At the University Complutense of MADRID, I created a custom role 'Test' with privileges "RWD" group 'Public '.
  
  I guess that the external LDAP has been configured successfully as an LDAP authenticator provider - myrealm settings tab, since I can see groups and external LDAP users, and they can connect the DCU with their user id and password.
  
  However, ldap_user is unable to perform the check, and on their profile page, the role is "invited, authenticated."
  And when I pass ldap_user in the test group to the Administrators group, the role is then "invited, authenticated, admin, sysmanager, refineryadmin, rmaadmin, pcmadmin, ermadmin.
  It seems that the Administrators group is mapped correctly, but not the group test.
  
  I try to apply the advice given in these two threads:

  I have created a 'externalLdapMap' identification card, completed the provider.hda file and put the map "Test, Test". I also tried with "Test, contributor" that I was not sure about the first mapping.
  Whatever it is, after restarting the server of the University Complutense of MADRID, I'm still not able to grant the privilege of writing for a user to the Administrators group.
  
  I missed something in the process?

  I think that you have enabled the LDAP authenticator credits and that this error will go up.

  You must create an OpenLDAPAuthenticator and do the same settings with flag set up and then test the scenario.

• Can't see the reports with the role of the consumer

  Hello. I'll implement the shared folders for multiple LDAP groups. Whatever the group, a user can display a folder only if I agree with 'Open' for the role of consumer of BI. We will be setting up folders for each Department and would like to only members in that Department to see the folder.
  
  New role: warehouse (single Member: warehouse LDAP group)
  in the option default-> enforcement strategies, I made a creation as on consumers of BI policy and the role of warehouse as the beneficiary.
  
  Is there anything else I should do?

• Bug in the role?

  I create a user of group "labuser" and assign it 'Virtual Machine Power User (example).

  Creating a User1 as a member of labuser. When I try to create a virtual machine, it is rejected as 'Need to assign Allocate resource virtual computer', so I did.

  After that user1 can create VM without issue, but it goes too well. I noticed that user1, I can act like I'm administrator. I can change roles. Even though I shouldn't have permission (this is uncheck the box). I suspect if this is a bug. Pls let me know if you need more information.

  No, I tried this time with the same result - my user cannot add/edit/remove roles or add/delete permissions to objects.  I added the role of "Virtual Machine Power User" (sample) to an ESX4 host that resides in a cluster, in a data center running on an instance of vCenter 4.

  I don't think that this will fire connecting to vcenter with two different names.

  If you use vcenter on windows xp and you are also the vc on the same client machine?  You can also list local groups that userX belong to?
