• Sharpening LR4, editing in CS5.

  Normally, I don't base crop and tonal corrections in LR, export TIFF for print size with a bit of sharpening. Can do editing in CS5. But I have a daughter with really, really beats the acne. So to save large files edited on it, I'm Cntrl/e ' ing and retouching/easing him directly in CS5. So, my question is the sharpness, I put in LR applied before being sent to CS5 (is this really the same as an export), or if it is applied when exporting to TIFF size?

• M2ts file Audio Editing problems (CS5.5)

  I am relatively new to CS5.5 and more than puzzled at not being able to highlight the audio 5.1 m2ts files to carry out any audio correction (such as a parametric equalizer).  It is also not possible to cary of J & L cuts either, for the same reason.

  I had no problem to do with AVI files, but noted a post-dated 2009 (which I guess applied to CS4), where none realize a montage could on the m2ts files, unless they were décimalisé all first, that only the AC3 Stream will be able to be edited.

  Can anyone suggest what I forget?  Even the base of Pinnacle Studio 15 can edit audio m2ts and I can hardly believe that it is always necessary demux these files for CS5.5...

  It worked perfectly OK, as long as I dropped the audio in a track unused 5.1. If I dropped it track 1, designating everthing els, he locks up as before.

  However, this lead me to the solution: it seems that some sort of bug has occurred when I used "Automate to sequence" to fill the timeline, as 5.1 together audio track 1 in the project is corrupted.

  Reboot again with a new authorized project the problem.

• Problems with LR4 - develop Module - Edit in CS5

  I just upgraded to LR3 4

  When I make the adjustments on a RAW or JPEG file in the develop module and then send it to PS5 for more work, not all settings appear in CS5.

  When you choose "change in" it will give you a message warning you that the ACR CS5 is not compatible.  You should check 'Render in lightoom' not ' to open anyway'.  If you do not receive the message, it may because you checked that "do not notify" previously, in which case go to edition, preferences, general tab and click "reset all warnings.

  The compatibility problem will be fixed in ACR 6.7 (today in the form of "Release Candidate" pre-release which can be downloaded), but full compatibility, it will ACR7 in Photohsop CS6, when it is released.

• Master CS4 CS5 editable text frames is no longer editable

  Problem: Text blocks on the pages of document CS4 (from locked on masterpage text blocks) are more editable on CS5 document pages.

  Location of CS4:

  MasterPages contain blocks of text that are locked to prevent users from inadvertently move them when working on pages of a document.

  On the pages of a document, the text frames can be edited, i.e. text entered, but are locked in position.

  Problem CS5:

  When you now open the same document, text images on the pages of the document are fully locked, the positioning and content. In other words, that they are more editable! The only way I found to make them editable once more is to unlock the text blocks. But unlock also removes the lock on position.

  I do work with Adobe and I just wanted to give a little more clarity on the subject of upgrade. Currently, you cannot upgrade a Student and Teacher Edition to an another Student and Teacher Edition - you can only upgrade a Student and Teacher Edition to a retail version. However, this upgrade cost is often more expensive than just buying the new version to the Student and Teacher Edition reduced prices up to 80% off (assuming that you meet all the eligibility requirements.)   I just upgraded to LR6 and also use CS5. I often send pictures of LR to CS5 for additional editing. Now, I have a problem with that since the upgrade to LR6. After editing in CS5 and return the LR6, screen windows photo and side sparkle every time that I left click of my mouse when working more with the same photo.   I recently needed to make room on my PC so I transferred my complete file of photos on my hard drive external. Apparently the photos I had edited in CS5 and saved in Lightroom were moved and I can't find where they are registered to locate in Lightroom. When I click on them in Lightroom, it just says: "this file is not found." Its only for photos edited in Lightroom and CS5, that were only in Lightroom on my external drive where I saved them, I'm only looking for files with "edit" in them (for example _DSC6181 - edit.tif). Any help to find those files that have been moved from apprently would be great, thanks!

  There is no published file. Lightroom stores the settings described in the catalogue. It applies to these adjustments to the image when you choose this image in Lightroom. As you have moved all your images on the external hard drive, it's where they are. And you have to go through the process of linking everything again.

• How do I reinstall cs5 after hardware failure with no media

  My hard drive has failed. I can't find my student original media edition for CS5. When I connect to the license page, I don't see my student edition product associated with my login. I could have used a different email address when I bought the product. Is there a phone number to call to Adobe support for help? Is it possible to download the product again? With my days filled with classes or work, Chat support never seems to be available when I am available.
