  The only option to hide the user's preferences (ringtone, volume, language, date and time, etc.), it of if you have a Touch 8 or 10 with the codec.  If you use the remote control, there is no way to hide or restrict access to the settings.

  One option is video OSD LoginRequired, but who's going to stop anyone using endpoint unless they log in with a user name and PIN first, however this does not prevent access to one of the parameters once connected.

  The only options you have are trying to keep the disabled setting auto answer, but there is no way to keep off 100% of the time, see below:

  • Using a model of persistent configuration of the TMS, which will define auto answer OFF on a periodic basis.
  • Using the not persistent on the codec, configure endpoint configuration as you want, and then select this mode lock in this configuration.  Every time whenever the SX20 restarts, it will default to whatever the configuration was made in the time mode not persistent has been activated.

  So it may well be that some units have one unit of distance, others not... before buying a remote control, make sure that you check whether your device supports a control unit remotely.

  Generally all applications supports an own help option.

  New installation on Qosmio x 300 is quite complicated and more free stuff you can use after Win7 upgrade (Vista upgraded to Win7 using the Toshiba upgrade kit).

  I did a few months ago and all went well. With a clean install is a bit complicated and I had problems with several hardware components. Quite simply, was not able to install so I have dropped. You can try to install Vista stuff for all the missing components.

  Hi all, I have a 40RL953B Toshiba 3 yr old 40 "Smart TV TNT HD, the problem is that he is stuck on HDMI 2 port and will not respond to the remote control or the buttons on the side.   I don't know how to make my remote for the Toshiba multimedia center work. The only instructions accompanying the product as a whole were safety guides and a quick installation guide, but nothing about setting up the remote control. When I press any button on it, the Multimedia Center are turned on, so no doubt is picking up a signal, but it does nothing. The only button that sometimes doing something is the key mute. I went into the remote control and OSD settings, and everything is checked. Remote control model is the RM-1500 and I changed the sensitivity settings, but none of them seem to have no effect. I'm trying to use it with Creative MediaSource Player, which I assume must have native support for it, but nothing works. So can someone please help me how should I set up?

  As I wrote in the subject line really. Buy Toshiba laptop with the option of upgrading to Vista by releasing. Setting up my new laptop and waiting for Vista to arrive, I ordered the direct remote control (with USB wireless "dongle") of this Web site.

  He arrived soon and I was up and going, watching video content HD via DVI - HDMI cable I bought also from the comfort of my armchair.

  Then came my copy of Vista. I was so happy! Then I discovered that drivers do not seem to work and there is no update on the Toshiba site.
