Sheet of labels to fill

I want to create a sheet of labels return address to complete 30.  I want the person to enter their information in the fields on the first label and have this info to fill in the fields on the rest of the labels.

The fields on the 2-30 labels must be UNEDITABLE.  The end user opens the form in Adobe Reader, will type their info in the first label, and then print on the label paper.

What I have tried-

I tried to create fields, and copy those fields to the rest of the labels however these fields are editable.  I am now at a loss for what to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

You must use two domain names. Assume the editable field is called 'Name' and the fields not editable with the same value will be called "NameCopy".

Use the following code as the custom field 'NameCopy ': calculation script

Event.Value = this.getField("Name").valueAsString;

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

It could be your template file which is trashed, in other words, your label template document itself could be the problem.  You need to maybe start over, in other words, create a new document from model to model appropriate size label size label.

The latest version of the Avery software, which let you can indeed use, moved in recent versions of Word.  Most of each model you can buy is installed within the software:

    Avery Wizard for Microsoft® Office

The document that results from (.doc / .docx) can be made to be put a blank label, to which you could add - manually, your little Clip Art Santas.  In fact, if you have created a blank label template (by clicking through the process of 'create' model), you can add a Clip Art or a different photo on each label.

If for some reason, the software will not be installed in your Version of Office Word, I believe you can use the software online and then print the labels on your printer.

    =========================================================================

You could also simply any reboots:

Router, computer, printer - just restart everything and see if the "strangeness" clears.  It is less likely to help, but it really depends on where the problem lies.  The question might be a little communication problem between the printer and the queue of work - the printer needs to process the job once it is taken from the queue; Maybe is not read the file correctly.

  • HP F2480 - aligning not printing labels

    Hello

my HP F2480 is a great little Office all in one, but I've never been able to print labels in word (office 2007). There seems to be a problem with the alignment and the tags do not match the model selected in word. It is strange, however, that sometimes when I come to print on a normal A4 sheet it works fine. So I guess that it may be the different thickness of the sheet of labels.

In any case if someone has had this problem or could help me that would be great. ~

    see you soon,

    Jeremy

HI - you might try defining the type of automatic paper of plain paper in the printer driver, printing of labels.  If it works fine on plain paper, it might have to do with the automatic paper sensor.

    Hope that helps

  • HP office jet pro 8600: part of the sticky label stuck in the printer. Paper jams.

I ran a sheet of labels into the printer, part of the top of the sheet of labels is stuck inside the printer.  I ca not see the piece to remove it. I cleaned the rollers and it still jams.  How can I remove the piece of stickypaper? Or what I need to take the printer to get it fixed?

I had a similar problem when someone brought me a printer with a label stuck on the inside.  I was able to get out the remains with the tweezers, a flashlight and a lot of patience...  With the Officejet 8600, I suggest to unplug the printer, removing the duplexer back and open the cartridge access door.  Do not tip the printer, if you did a lot of printing, there may be excess ink in the service area.

The document here can help find areas to search for the remains of the label.

  • OfficeJet pro 8610: print labels avery

just started using my officejet pro 8610.  love it but I can't seem to aline sheets of labels when I print multiples.  When I print 3 copies it will make good on the 2 / 3. I have the tray loaded with about 50 sheets of paper of reg and then ask my sheets of labels above.  Have I not it overloaded or what.

    Hello pauldc,

    Welcome to the HP Forums.

I see that you experience a problem when you attempt to print more than 3 pages of paper for labels at the same time.

You said that you have plain paper in the status bar, as well as the label paper.  Please delete.  Use just the label paper when you print labels.  It would be the same scenario that you were printing photos and using photo paper.  Remove all of the regular paper.

If you still have questions or if you have any other questions, feel free to write me again.

    See you soon,.

  • Print Avery labels

The site of Avery will be models that be downloaded to allow printing on their labels. I have included a link here.

As a word of caution when you print labels - "do not feed more than once a sheet of labels into the printer. Re-use of a sheet of labels can result in damage to the glue of the label printer. Labels must cover the whole sheet No exposed spaces. »

  • HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless: Unable to print labels on my HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless color inkjet printer

    Hello Forum,

I don't want to appear redundant, however, I always have the same problem, cannot print on different media (for example. Labels, Matt / glossy papers, etc.) other than plain white paper. As I said in my original post (below), I tried different settings, different programs, etc., without any result. The printer does that pass through without printing media, leaving the error / blinking yellow light.

I believe that this printer is able to manage different media other than paper white just to 'stick '. Again, I ask your help to solve this problem. It is and has been, very frustrating trying to overcome this restriction of printing!

    Thank you all!

    (Original post)

I can't get my HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless inkjet color printer to print CD / DVD labels. I have tried various printer / paper options but the printer just feeds the media (in this case 'Fellows' brand matte CD 2-top) then spits it right back with result error amber light flashing.

Printing has a sensor that determines if the paper is loaded and feeding properly into the printer.  If you print on media that is colored or printed features we can confuse the sensor.

One thing to try - cut a strip of the sticky part of a post-it note maybe 1 "wide by 1/4".  Attach it to the top left of the sheet of labels on the side to be printed, the long side on the short side of the paper.  This will then put face down into the printer, with the band on the upper right of the tray paper.  After printing, you can remove it and reuse it for the next page.

  • HP 6700 Premium: problems printing labels

To print labels on this printer, I place the label stock upside down on the top of the paper in the paper tray. Often (but not always) the printer pulls the label stock, then ejects and prints the labels you want on the sheet of ordinary paper that was immediately under the labels. This happens with a fresh sheet of labels and partially used sheets. The label stock varies depending on the brand and type of label, but all are 8.5 "of 11.0". I prepare labels using templates (usually Avery) in Word 2007 on a PC.

  • Specifying the Destination of Avery Label Printing

I have a hp 6700 premium all-in-one printer. I have an iMac OSX 10.9 running. (although I don't think it matters, does?). I'm trying to print an address label with the standard of 3 rows of columns x 10 Avery label paper but I want to CLARIFY that column and row to print to (so I can reuse the labels not printed on the page and run the page through the printer again and again until they are used to the top). Years with another printer and the computer I could do but I can't understand how doing it now with the software and the hardware. What can I do if I select an address to print from my Contacts list is printing it in the default location: 1st column, 1st row. And that would mean that only two labels can be printed by every label page (when I want to print a label), wasting the other 28. So is there a way I can print just a single label and specify that it print to, say, column 2, line 7 (for example)? Thanks for any help!

    Hi MrBobboh,

I did some specific research label printing and found some information for you. First, I would like to point out something important, I found. "Do not feed more than once a sheet of labels into the printer. Re-use of a sheet of labels can result in damage to the glue of the label printer. Labels must cover the whole sheet No exposed spaces. »

    Source: HP.com label printing

When you print labels, you would typically use a model. You can go to the website of the brand of paper and download a template.

Your question is "is there a way I can print just a single label and specify that it print to", the best way to respond, Yes with a model, but consider my first quote. By running the sheet of labels into the printer several times you take a risk, as this may damage the printer over time.
