If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7.

Click on the Start button and install the type of search CMDbox.
Now you can see a CMD to the Summit.

Just right click on that one and select Run as Administrator.

If you use Windows XP, by default it will open as a administrator.

Please press Crtl + Alt + Delete key on the keyboard. Now, you will get a new manager called tasks window.

Now, please hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard and click file, new task on the Task Manager.  Now, you will get a new black window.

  • Why the firefox profile is messed up and does not restore the tabs when you replace the Windows shell with something like bbLean

I use Windows 8.1 x 64 but I can replace the Explorer bblean shell and when I do that firefox has issues with the profile such that cancel last closed tab or not to restore the tabs at startup.
I was able to use the replacement of shell of bblean for years in previous versions of Windows, but he always had a weird behavior with firefox. Of course, I am currently in contact with bbLean developers working on the problem, but I would also like to hear what may be the cause of this.
    Thank you in advance.

    @guigs2
Thanks for responding but I solved it somehow.
'Replace the shell' means that I have deliberately change value in HKCU NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Shell so it does not point explorer.exe but blackbox.exe.
After the reset of my installation of windows and get rid of all programs, including firefox now I use firefox portable (not installation of vanilla from the original site) and found, I have no problem with profiles so far.

  • AppleScript shell grep

    Hello

I don't know a lot about shell grep and need help. I have a file name variable I want grep and return of the variable back to ACE.

value filename to "I need [remove this bit] .indd by name of file.

I would like to delete the media including the content and the white space 1 in front of the first slice.

Something like this model in Javascript.

    \s\[.+\]

Could someone recommend me a resource for beginners the shell grep.

    Thank you very much.

    GR

You can try to use sed instead of grep to remove white space leader + media and anything between the two:

value filename to "I need [remove this bit] .indd by name of file.

the value newfilename for shell script "echo" & filename & "|" sed 's/ \\[.*\\]//' "

This is a resource for sed: http://www.grymoire.com/Unix/Sed.htmland one for grep: http://www.grymoire.com/Unix/Grep.html

and here's a nice regex "cheat sheet": https://www.cheatography.com/davechild/cheat-sheets/regular-expressions/

  • Put 'do shell script' multi-line with comments

I would like to integrate a Bash in Applescript script, as it is on several lines with comments.

The only documentation useful, that I can find is tn2065, but as far as I can see, it does not say how.

    What is the correct syntax?

Maybe I'm missing something, but you can just write your script bash as a text object and passing to the shell script:

game of longBashCommand to "# some relevant comments.

    CD /somedir

    / bin/something - foobar

    # one other comment here

    / bin/Gisèle

    ' # one other comment.

    the shell script longBashCommand

The trickiest part is perhaps the need to escape some characters such as quotation marks in the command shell.

  • Right-click in accidents of navigation because of NVIDIA shell Extensions pane

Whenever I have click on the Windows Explorer navigation pane folder, Windows Explorer to crash and restart. From the web to research, I learned to use ShellExView shell extension which was responsible for finding. A process of elimination I found that disabling the following shell extension corrected the problem:

Extension name: Microsoft NVIDIA CPL Context Menu Extension
    Type: Context Menu
    Description: NVIDIA Display Shell Extension
    Product name: NVIDIA shell Extensions
    Company: NVIDIA Corporation
    File name: C:\windows\system32\nvshext.dll
    File extensions: Directory\Background

I'm sure this isn't the only expansion that is causing this problem, but I hope this helps someone.

  • The terminal commands/help shell initialization files

A few days ago, I opened the terminal on my MBP and tried the help command. Here, I tried ls help. I was expecting to get help for the command ls, but I got this instead:

LS: help: no such file or directory

I know that ls , it was just try random commands on my terminal. However, after some searching on Google I realized that some people had similar problems with some commands doesn't work is not on the terminal. And most of the problems appear to be related to the shell initialization files.

    How can I fix this?

It was just try random orders

Orders randomly won't work. You must enter commands that make sense. "ls help" is a command to list a file named 'help' in the current directory. Since there is no file, all you get is an error message. If you want to learn how to use the shell, I suggest you only begin by reading a book or a tutorial online. I don't have a specific recommendation.

  • HP CSI Shell has stopped working - cannot install the printer driver

I just bought a printer LaserJet MFP M127fw Pro, but the installation of the pilot program still crashes. I tried 3 different modes of driver installation: the installation CD install HP Smart (USB) and download online, but I keep getting the same error.

10-15 seconds after I start the driver installation, a pop-up Windows appears, advising me that:
"HP CSI Shell has stopped working".

I called HP customer care and they post in the computer section of the Support Forums.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

I have a HP Media Center PC with Windows 7 64 bit.

    Update:

I tried the feature "Add a printer" windows default in Control Panel, and my printer is finally functional - only when used wireless. However, if I connect the USB cable from my printer, it will be recognized as a different printer and always unsuccessfully installed the drivers for it.

If it works wirelessly, it is good enough for me.

What I can't get my head is the way to ask the user for the tag to be applied (either as a literal or choose from the list) and then pass this as the file list for the shell as a parameter.

    You're talking about text tags?

You can use Ask for the text, and then set the Variable, then before run you Script Shell, Get Variable.  If this is the only variable passed, then it will be '$1 '.

If you click on the [results] in the action before to run the Shell Script, you can see the order of the variables passed:

  • Satellite L300D - how to get rid of the Aston Shell software

    Hello

I bought a new computer Satellite L300D last month and was very happy with it.
Unfortunately, yesterday, by chance, I ran a progrmme called Aston Shell.
My computer the entire screen has changed.

When it came to MacAffee, he asked if I wanted to change my registry. I hit on no.
Now, it will not be closed properly, I don't know where to find my files. He also tells me that there is a trial, thirty days if I fear at the end of the thirty days that my computer will be any good.

Someone told me I should be able to return to the Explorer of Windows through my preferences and my BONES should not be affected.
I don't know what that means. It has been suggested also not uninstall Aston until I do it.
Although I am grateful to that person to get advice here, I don't know what to do. I'm a little bit of panic.

Can someone help me please. Thank you.

    Hello

I think you should simply set the back bone to the point of time at the beginning.
Vista and XP supports this feature called System Restore tool.

Check this tool and turn the BONES until that time before the Aston shell has been installed.

    I think it should work!
