Shift caps lock for keyboard Razr?

I just bought a Razr Maxx and tried to type something in all caps, but hitting the SHIFT key twice he brought back to lowercase. I noticed that it is using the keypad of Motorola... and is remarkably absent from the default keyboard Ice Cream Sandwich (I don't like Swype). Is it possible to return to caps lock shift, or do I have to download one of the Ice Cream Sandwich keyboards on the market?

Its here again, from no caps lock shift, hold down the shift caps lock and it will have a blue light on the subject. This means that its on.

If you start in caps lock, shift, or on the first letter he will not enter lock hope this helps boyfriend.

    Hello world!

    Can someone help me solve these problems with the SHIFT key?

    * 1st problem: *.
    The led on the key caps in my Toshiba Satellite L50-A-1F2 is always on.

    * 2nd problem: *.
    I did some tests using MS Word:
    When caps lock shift is not active, I can write without problem.
    When shift caps lock is enabled, I have problems with some keys (all in the same "column"): 3, D, E, C.
    When I press on:
    3: I get the symbol ' - '.
    D: the cursor moves to the line below
    E: I get the symbols TM; Sometimes it activates Intel graphics deal
    C: the cursor moves to the beginning of the first line.

    Thank you in advance for help you!

    Usually the CAPS LOCK key can be turned on and off by pressing the same button once more.
    If this isn't possible, I'm afraid that this could be a hardware problem m.

    But new Toshiba notebook s supports the special feature called the special function mode key.
    This mode allows you to use the FN keys without pressing the FN key extra.

    I put t know if this mode may affect the functionality of the CAPS LOCK, but its worth a check.

    However, I would recommend you to connect external keyboard and check if the same problems of CAPS LOCK would appear. In case the external USB keyboard would work correctly, the problem of LOCKING of UPPER is related to malfunction internal keyboard.

  • Windows 8 does not indicate anywhere if shift caps lock is enabled or disabled

    Windows 8 bought in December 2012. Am still terrible trouble with him. I would like to know how do I know if shift caps lock is enabled OR NOT.

    Look on your keyboard for a witness to caps lock. As a general rule, it is at the top of the keyboard, top right, or on the button itself.

  • Tecra Z50 - A - 11 c: without capital letters when shift caps lock is enabled

    Hello

    I have a laptop Toshiba Tecra Z50 - A - 11 c with 3.70 BIOS...

    I noticed a strange problem with my laptop. Occasionally, when the CAPS LOCK is turned on, I can not write in capital letters when it is off, I can write in capital letters. I couldn't find the thing to replicate.

    Is there someone with a similar problem?
    What could be the problem?

    Thank you.

    The keyboard should work as follows:

    SHIFT CAPS LOCK is enabled-> uppercase
    SHIFT CAPS LOCK is on and down SHIFT-> small initial letters
    SHIFT key-> uppercase

    If this isn't the case, test the external USB keyboard.
    The use of the external USB keyboard can be useful to find out if the internal keyboard is malfunctioning.

    Hello again jeffrey27.

    It is difficult for me to say what would be the price of disks (as much as you are in a country other than mine).  However, it should be a minimal cost and a good thing to have a system failure such as having to replace a hard drive.

    I don't think using another PC to create a recovery disk is an option.  The disks are specific system (it might have small differences in the two booklets), and also may not be valid under the license agreement for Windows.

    I think it's information about your location.

  • Shift caps lock flashing but the computer usually turn on g6

    Just my computer stopped working. I turn it on and it acts like it will start but then nothing. The Caps light is on but nothing else, not to mention that the power button.  All of the suggestions. I took out the battery and you just plug it in and the same thing.

    Hi McGlen,

    The caps lock and power button flashing is a way for your computer to tell you that something is from bad material, most likely serious.

    Hello

    1. did you of recent changes to the computer before the show?

    2 do you have uninstalled all the programs?

    Check if the problem persists in the new user account.

    I suggest you follow these steps.

    1: Look at the taskbar and see if you have the Quickset icon there. It is in the form of a Q that is blue with a yellow tail coming out there.

    2: click the icon and uncheck the 'disable on screen volume meter.' (On some versions you must right-click it.)

    3: If the icon is missing under start programs and see if you have the Dell Quickset program. Follow the arrow to the word "Quickset" and click on it once and the 'Q' icon should appear on the taskbar.

    4: If you do not have quick setting program you can download it from the website of the computer manufacturer (dell).

    If the problem persists, contact the computer manufacturer for help.

  • Is there a way to disable a single model viewer (rather than Caps-Lock for all)?

    Working on an animation in a subcomp, I often need to see how he's going to sit in his model of the parent, so I open a second spectator alongside.

    Works fine, but if I do something tedious and complex, it would be nice to be able to disable the second spectator that AE does not continue to try to make the parent model whenever I've finished interacting with something.

    AE did a good job of maintaining interactivity in titting on with stuff, but the second spectator slow down things a bit (not to mention the Visual introduction of noise/distraction because it shows his bar rendered etc.). I could simply close the Viewer, but then I have to open it up again a few minutes later.

    Shift lock disables all. I want to just disable an individual Viewer.

    If it's possible, I can end up having more than two viewers open - my projects end up with huge hierarchies of comps, and it would be nice sometimes to be able to have a certain number of viewers I could turn on and off individually as needed. I'm not short of screen real estate and that would mean that I always know where to look (rather than having several possible sources to viewers)

    [EDIT to add:] Man, what would be good is if it worked the same way as the zoom control panel - press the tilde key and any component is under the mouse cursor is zoomed. Having an order of keys 'turn off the viewer under the mouse cursor' would be super quick to use...

  • stopped to get an alert in the lower right, every time my caps lock shift is on

    original title: caps lock alert

    Having recently replaced my hard drive after the old one fried, my Dell Studio 1555 (Vista) has stopped giving me an alert in the lower right, whenever my shift caps lock is on. Also, I can't see the taskbar at the top of the screen or the other (the one with IE and the trash that appears whenever I used to spend my mouse up there). Does anyone know how to fix this?

    I tried some google searches and asking autour, but all I can find is to know how to stop messing around in the registry and it's asking for trouble.

    As far as caps lock icon in the notification area, it is not a feature of Vista and probably came with other software provided with your computer.  I would check for keyboard software (whether in the discs you got with the computer or on the web site of the manufacturer) as is likely, it is where he is.  Because it's a Dell, it may be a problem with the quick set button.  See the following thread that describes how a similar problem was found on another machine from Dell:http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/256075-caps-lock-popup-dell-inspiron-1545-a.html.  According to me, a new and updated Quickset updated download can be obtained at the following:http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&ServiceTag=&SystemID=STUDIO1555&os=WLH&osl=en&catid=&impid=.  Just install it and I think that your problem will be solved.

    As far as the upper toolbar will, I believe you are referring to the Dell docking station.  You can get that here:http://www.delldock.com/.  Simply download and install on it and you'll have the toolbar (if you have set up to be the settings you had before or what you want now).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Types of keyboard uppercase with CAPS lock OFF and vice versa - with laptop and same and external keyboard the on-screen keyboard

    During the night, something happened to the way that Windows 8 reads at the entrance to the keyboard.  It doesn't matter if I use the laptop keyboard, external wireless keyboard or pop-up on-screen keyboard, the results are the same.

    If SHIFT CAPS LOCK is DISABLED, the entrance presents itself as CAPS.

    If SHIFT CAPS LOCK is enabled, the entry is lowercase

    Regardless of the status of CAPS, entered numberic is impossible, either from the top row of keys OR number pad (with NumLock on or off).

    It is therefore impossible to connect to the computer as the password there.

    The laptop is an ASUS (sorry, don't know not the model and it's home now while I'm at work), bought in the last 2 months.  Everything worked great yesterday.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Fixed!  Here is the solution:

    "By pressing the right SHIFT key for 8 seconds in the word 2003is filters a shortcut keys. When you click Cancel if it changes the configuration of the keyboard. When you press a letter key you will get capital, even if you don't have a behaviour the key to the capital. When you press a number key, you will get the symbol above the key as if you had hit the SHIFT key with her.

    To correct this problem and return to the normal mode by default words

    Press the two SHIFT KEYS at the same time. This will cancel the change in the configuration of the keyboard.

    To cancel the shortcut key shift so that this problem does not happen

    * Hold DOWN SHIFT RIGHT for 8 seconds to appear popup filter keys

    * Click on SETTINGS

    * On the keyboard tab go to filter keys and click SETTINGS

    * Under click on shortcut key on the box USING the SHORTCUT to remove

    brand

    * Click OK

    * At the bottom of the Accessibility Options box, click APPLY, then OK.

    * Press the two shift KEYS to disable changes.

    Keyboard should now return to normal mode and if you hold down the SHIFT key for 8 seconds or more, you should never have this problem again. »
