• Database development process

  Hello world.  Here's a simple question for you.

  Currently I develop web applications using WebLogic and Oracle Enterprise Database.  For our Java development, we use Eclipse with Subversion to keep would be our version of Java files and all right.

  We like to use Jdeveloper to our connections of PL/SQL and development and we have 3 servers.  We have a Production, Test and development servers.

  However, when change us the SQL directly on our DEV server, we always find that are stepping on each other toes, because we develop on a central source.

  I'm not terribly familiar with Oracle products and licensing.  Is there an instance of Oracle database that can run on our workstations in local development that we do not have to pay for my dev team and who will work for the development right?

  We are already a local Weblogic instance on our workstations for development.  Are we able to do the same thing with the database without having to pay for the licenses?

  This works, however, we have about 12 people in the dev team and about 10 different schemes that we use for our applications.  This would require to create 120 new patterns that looks like a pain in the thigh.

  Another approach is for the version of 'official' dev to be in the scheme of the app with public synonyms on the necessary objects.

  Then the developers to create their own tables in their own schema and run the code in their own schema. That code will be first reference their own object/table and then make reference to that indicated by the public synonym.

  If each developer can have tables named DEPT and EMP and the regulations in force will use those but then uses the application for other objects schema.

  I just bought 6.6 development.  I had built a 6.5 software development process which was the trial of 30.  Now that the client has taken the lead with this project, I can't load the process which was built on the 6.5 to the 6.6.  I get an error message of:

  file.14P was created by an older version of Lookout.  Please recompile it by opening the source file .lks.

  I get no further than that.  I'd appreciate any help in getting this resolved. Thanks in advance.

  For a start more fast start:
  Go to start-> type msconfig-> press ENTER. Opens the System Configuration dialog box. Go to the Startup tab and disable unwanted software that start at startup.
  Go to Services tab-> disable any unwanted service. But here, note that you can disable any service for which you feel is used only by you, but Windows / other installed programs depend on a lot of these services, so pay attention to what you are doing. You can disable services like google updater, etc.
  Restart the PC and check.
  The fastest stop for:
  Go to start-> type regedit-> press ENTER. Navigate to the following location:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control
  Once you click on the right pane, you will find a value with the name WaitToKillServiceTimeOut. Double-click it and change the value from 100 to 500. Click Ok. Now, restart the PC to check if it works.
  Answer if the problem persists.

  Hello! I want to know if I understand the App with JHeadstart development process (see-http://my.jetscreenshot.com/2677/20111006-nnjj-66kb). Based on this schema, I wrote the below process:
  
  1. first of all, we create ADF BC using Assistant JDeveloper.
  2. can activate us JHeadstart on the RESUME draft that creates the application definition file.
  3. then we create DEFINITION of Service JHeadstart (ADF BC metadata file) created BC.
  4. use of these ADF (definition of the Service) metadata in approx. Definition Editor, we GENERATE application that uses templates.
  5 generator model generates the necessary files, JSF, JSP. JSF + ADFc; ADF model, data binding, data controls.
  
  Am I right, I described the process in app development in JHS tool correctly? If not, then say where I'm wrong?

• development of mobile iOS without possible Apple/Mac?

  Is it possible to develop/deploy an application mobile iOS (for iPad) on a PC?

  I have already developed an Android using Flash Builder application and now I would like to build the app for iOS also. I found conflicting information on the web. On the site of the iOS developer program, I found the following: "You need a Mac with Intel processor running Mac OS X Snow Leopard or later to develop iOS for the App Store applications."

  Is this correct? Or can I use my Flash Builder (4.6) running under Windows to create a package for iOS? Finally, download it in the App Store?

  Any comments would be appreciated.

  You may find it useful to refer to Chapter 4 management of the development process in the APEX User Guide: http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17556_01/doc/user.40/e15517/teamdev.htm. If you take a look at the section creating a function - http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E17556_01/doc/user.40/e15517/teamdev.htm#CACFFGDJ - you'll see that point 6 refers to the creation of new topics as liberation, assigned to:

  To add the new editable selection lists values, enter a value in the field with the new title. For example, to add the name to feature owner list, enter a value in new feature owner.

  So, when you log in to your workspace and access development team, click the icon of features. This will branch to the main dashboard page. Click on the button create feature and note that the 'Feature' area on the main feature page has items such as 'New owner' listed. When you add a value to this field, this will fill the 'Owner' associated selection list. The status of "To Do" is a little different, because it is a list of values with values set, you cannot change. Maybe it's something that will be addressed in a future release.

• The addon compatibility?

  Just a thought.
  I had a complete theme I really liked called Silvermel.
  So, with the latest updates, it is more compatible with Firefox. I went to complete themes in Firefox Addons to see if I could find something else I liked and found that 95% of them are not compatible. It is not as bad with my other addons as with complete themes, but I'm still losing the use of 1 or 2 update of Firefox addons.

  Firefox is always talking about how customizable they are and then their advances make less. Improve things to the point where you're tell them improved it is counterproductive.
  Would ask you the developers of Firefox not change the things that the addons must be usable? If they don't then they should not be updated.

  With regard to the compatibility of the add-on broken; updates do not usually break a lot of modules. But right now Firefox is going through major changes in how modules work. We worked closely with add-on developers to ensure that their modules are updated to be compatible with these changes.

  Unfortunately, some developers are trolling or have abandoned their modules in total. You can read more about these changes in the blog of Mozilla post titled The Future of development of Firefox Add-ons

  Mozilla continues to develop and work on new updates to the mobile Firefox OS System. These links you've shared are all accurate - I also use these pages to stay informed on the latest updates.

  What you refer to, is that the last "Commercial" of a device of Firefox OS version is 1.3.

  Newer versions are already available to test and debug and can be flashed on devices roots for users who want to experiment or help Mozilla in the development process.

  Once a version has reached 'Code complete' Mozilla, they are expelled to manufacturers and partners-material testing and certification. This process can take several months before the end, and until the final version is available on commercial aircraft.

  Perhaps the best device to install Firefox OS development versions is the reference of the flame device. I am running versions v2.0, v2.1 and v2.2 on different devices.

  Although - please keep in mind that these newer versions are not recommended for developers and advanced users.

• Battlelog Plugin does not work with every night but works with other browsers!

  Hello, I use the latest nightly and each time I want to play battlefield 4 in multiplayer it forces me to install the latest plugin from battle, a few days ago there was no problem and I could run the game after you have installed the plugin but now even if the plugin appears in the add tab and I always leave work it still says its has not been and I need to Download and install so that when I have my default browser IE value I could very easily run without a problem so I can tell the plugin isn't the problem, but there may be some problems with the nightly version that may be incompatible.

  Unless you are intentionally 'testing' the Nightly version, and are familiar with Bugzilla, and Bug reporting, you should not use every night. Nightly receives updates almost daily and it may be unstable for days at a time as Bugs are fixed, new code added to test and code is corrected for additional work. Nightgown is the first of the 2 Alpha stages of development process.

  You're better off with almost nothing accept ZA and Kaspersky, both are absolutely the worst security editors to keep in touch with updates of Firefox this last year: everyone has had at least one add-on Firefox being several weeks or months of delay on the schedule of release of Firefox. It's almost as if they don't know week 18 of Firefox development process and they are waiting until their Firefox users complain of their shit doesn't work don't not with a version new version of Firefox, before even to think to do their updates. IMO, the smartest thing is to test the version of channel every night (first alpha stage 6 weeks) for compatibility issues once a week to see what problems may exist with their software, and once the new version hits the channel Aurora (2nd week alpha stage 6) begin to develop a plan calendar for what they should be fixed and begin to repair their stuff, while intensifying to test a little. Once the new version Beta 6 weeks channel hits they should be completed their corrections and expand their tests to include the combination of the Add - most popular add-ons used by Firefox users so that they can see all problem users could hit and fix what needs to be fixed before the release of the new version of Firefox.

  Another thing these security vendors could do is some clients do their beta testing to find flaws and weak spots in their substance, as organizations open source like Mozilla done with Firefox. Honestly, I miss the "good old days" when these security companies ignored Firefox and only support Internet Explorer.

  I use Avira Personal Free - http://www.free-av.com/ - who does not feel the need to develop Add-ons for Firefox which really don't add anything to Firefox and only provide a 'bells and whistles' version of something that is already integrated into Firefox. Good solid anti-virus protection that is updated twice a day.

  I think what you describe is the function "Tip." You can stop these appear automatically.

  The setting is located in the Station Options > Preferences > Expression editing Options

  My screenshots are from 2014, but it's the same on 2013. Not sure about 2011.
