  I'm trying to insert a screenshot image into a page of quiz of hotspot on my site my users access - when inserted or pasted, the text in the image distorts so that you can't read.  I tried many things to fix it and nothing works.  I tried to save as a .gif, .png, .png24 .jpeg, tried to change the resolution.  I've never had this problem before.

  You must put your HBox field annotated in your document FXML controller. Put in your application class will have no effect (unless the application is the controller, but I'm guessing that this is not the case).

  I shot images on a camera decent (not HD) - a Canon Vixia HFM30, it must have a decent image quality. I saw the regular difference between HD and video footage, but it's horrible. It was exported on a Mac on iMovie, then transferred to my Mac Book Pro. I tried to do some research online; He pointed toward the download or purchase the appropriate codec.   If you drag a subform on the page (not in the table) and then in this subform place an ImageField and a TextField. Configure these as you want them to appear in the table and the value of the subform a Flowed layout.

  Then copy the subform and paste it into the cell in the Table.

  To the user, it will appear as a textfield and a field of the image in the same cell.

  It should work, as we have done similar in the past.

  In regards to the screenshots, the ImageField object will only allow the user to click on it and go to the place where on their computer image file exists. Can't drag an image file and drop it on the ImageField in the PDF. Nor can paste you from the Clipboard into an ImageField.
