My computer is an old and runs pretty slugglishly at this stage. Should I WM Player and Quick Time Player?  I use Windows 7.

Thank you.  P Bern

QuickTime Player (by Apple) is not part of the Windows operating system and can be uninstalled if desired. You can, however got it installed when you installed iTunes so that you can to keep for this reason.

With regard to your slow computer, here are some tips:

FWIW... Win XP cannot natively recognize Commercial

is not a DVD decoder on your Win XP Pro drive.

If you could play before commercial video DVD...
do a system restore to a time before this started

Or you could buy a DVD decoder at the following link:

I took a video on my Iphone 5 on 11 June 2014. I can see it on my phone. When I have this message to other cell phones, they can see it. When I send it to emails, no one can open it except gmail. We get the message that there is no Association set for .mov. I went .mov in the list of the association and "attached" to Windows Media Player, which does not recognize it, or open it. Should what media player I use?

    HELP PLEASE!

.mov is not a format very widely compatible. Anyone who designs will require a third-party video player, such as Apple's QuickTime. A better solution is to save all in another format, such as .mp4. (Keep in mind that I know almost nothing about iPhones). Maybe you could use a Media Converter. (be careful with these)

The latest version of QuickTime is a requirement for Premiere Elements. Among other things, without him you don't have QuickTime export presets when you arrive to the exports to publish + share/computer/QuickTime. Then download and install the latest version of QuickTime for computer with elements of first 12/12.1. QuickTime as Premiere Elements requires that it will run with you as an administrator. Hello

I think this explains the problem.  The 2 entries here should be deleted, because the first will try to index all of your user profile and the second will attempt to index all of the Windows Partition.

    C:\Users\Rick

    C:\

To remove them, click to the left of the entrance, highlight it, and then click Remove.  When these two entries have been removed, reboot the laptop and you should find that the problem has been resolved.

  • How can I reset Windows Media Player to use songs on my external backup drive instead or in addition to the songs on my desktop with Windows Vista Edition basic hard drive family?

How can I reset the Player Windows Media in Windows Vista Home Basic to use the songs on my external backup drive instead of (or in addition to) the songs on my desktop hard drive?  Currently, the Media Player library indicates that the hard drive (C:\) is my only option of disks to use for sources of songs.

Basically, I want to have Media Player external drive for all the songs from research and build his library on this disc instead of on the C:\ drive.
My problem is that the songs are hogging too much space on my hard drive, so I want to move to my external drive to backup instead, but Media Player will not access it.  I saw an option in Media Player to add a song to a different drive to the library whenever I play a song of this player, but that would require me to play all the songs moved one at a time, which is not practical, and which would not solve my problem because Media Player could still be maintaining the library on my HDD to say.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you.
