Should I buy now or wait for LR?

Currently have a PC, hope to buy a Mac in a few months.  Don't want to buy LR twice.  Should I just wait to buy LR until I got the new computer?

If you buy the boxed, online or in a store, its cross-platform product; so you get two DVD. You are also allowed two activations. So you can install it on Windows and Mac. You can download the free trial of 30 days immediately from the link below. When you purchase the product, no additional installation is required. Simply enter the serial number of the packaging of the DVD and the trial becomes permanent.

When I'll be able to find a tablet on the shelves of stores Best Buy with ICS on that? Want to buy my first android Tablet and wait it killing me.

Generally, things are getting cheaper and better times light on, except automobiles and services by cable, so if you wait it will be better BUT you lose the use of it NOW!

If you are looking for the Xoom to does what you want then I would buy it. I bought my Xoom almost a year ago and I have never regretted. Not like the time where she said "Marine Hey let me show you something."

Seriously, if you use a product then there value and the value of this product is lost when you do not have to use. It will be cheaper and certainly better later but all this time how could did you use your Xoom for what you wish for, then you are indeed lose this value. If you have never purchased a Tablet, you would save a lot of money but it is better savings for not having to use?

If the Tablet does what you want today, then buy and enjoy now. The Xoom is supposed to get ICS and you will be able to use it while you wait for ICS.

  • Install the LR 5.7 update now or wait for bug fixes?

What's new in LR 5.7 and should I install the update now or wait for bug fixes (if any). I am currently using LR 5.6 running on Mac OS X 10.7.5.

No new features other than the camera doesn't support, but I think it is good to always run the latest version (sometimes there are bugs that have not been mentioned, and sometimes there are subtle performance improvements..).

If you have a problem in Lr5.6, you wonder if it's also in 5.7, it won't be others if report you it etc...

If you have no luck with the latest version, you can always downgrade, but it is unlikely that you will need to do this...

  • Should I buy a Base Station for my Apple products to use Time Machine?

Should I buy a Base Station for my Apple products? I have a Netgear CG3000D-RG gateway and also use Windows with this modem/router. I'm not able to backup using time machine and bought an external hard drive PassPort but I find it pretty annoying having to plug it in to my MBP whenever I want to do a backup. I would like to use the most convenient airport on my MBP feature, however, it seems pointless unless I have connected to my Netgear router/Modem base station. If I have to buy a base station to make the backup of my MBP easier? I also use 6s and iPad Air iPhone. I would be able to save these features too? Thank you!

    1. you must either have a Time Capsule or connect the drive to your computer when you perform a backup.

    2. Time Machine isn't back from iOS devices directly; they should be stored on a computer and the computer saved Time machine.

  • Should I buy a MacBook Pro now or wait for the WWDC

    Hello

Well, I want to buy a MacBook Pro (my first one ever). However, I have read on some sites there is a new version of the MacBook Pro this year (at WWDC).

Now I'm totally confused. I want to use a MacBook Pro 15 "(8 Go de RAM et 552 Go SSD) to work on large data / Business Intelligence technologies and programming."

But I don't know if I have to wait for these new features or go ahead and buy this one now. And if these new features will be most useful for what I want to do.

    Thanks in advance.

Apple has specifically discourages discussions on these forums about what and when the new products will be introduced and what changes there may be.

The best advice is, what your needs are and this current model meets the.  If so, buy it, if not, don't buy it.   My observation of past changes in the introduction of new models is that the changes are incremental, not radical.  My primary MBP is a 2011 model (with 16 GB of RAM and an SSD hard drive) and I still do not feel outclassed by the current culture.

    Ciao.

  • Should I learn flash now or wait for the update?

    Hello

Thanks for looking at my question. I just the edge of Adobe and since it seems that adobe is moving more html5 to Flash I need to learn flash. My question is what do you think I should start to learn now or wait until the update is happening? My concern is that I don't want to waste time if the program is supposed to be a lot of changes or the user interface would see significant changes. I'm still new to development and have other things that I could learn in the meantime but still see it as a compelling for my skill set in the future.  I have a pretty good understanding of the edge and I think some will be translated into flash, but I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Yes, start with Flash now. Everything you learn now will transfer to animate.

  • Should I buy now FCPX if a new version may be on its way at the end of October?

I'm considering the purchase of FCPX at level of iMovie, because I must be able to work with multiple cameras and work with more than one PIP at a time.  Also I'm not a power user in anyway...

In any case looking around, I see rumors of a possible major new version announced in late October.  I don't know about how the purchase and update of FCPX works so if I had to buy now, I would be able to upgrade to the new version (assuming that it is a major release) or would I have to pay all over again?  Could I be better waiting four weeks until the end of the month?

    What do you think?

I would like to know.  I have to pay for future improvements.  At the end of the 1990s, Adobe Photoshop cost 1299.  You would have to pay to go to Photoshop 5.0 to 6.0, etc.  It was sold to the library at my college, and students got a small discount.  My first digital camera was a pd150.  From interested parties.

  • Buy X230T or wait for Windows 8?

    Hello

I am interested in buying tips.  I think I have a x230T for my son to use at school (at home).  I like the idea of him being able to take notes, and then draw in the formulas, molecules etc right in the document word (or whatever it ends up being).  I'm only interested in the ThinkPad (vs current Fujitsu) due the durablity and available education discounts.

I read about Yoga and other hybrid tablets expected with the launch of Windows 8 and do not know if it is wise to wait or buy now (or if they will be prohibitive prices).  It seems that the new Tablet hybrids will be lighter than the current x230T.  I also read that it is sensible to wait for Windows 8, designed in the spirit tablets.  Here again, we have a first generation of Thinkpad Tablet and maybe make us just that.

Advice appreciated (while I continue to find customers - have got to say that I was disappointed by the comments of x230T.  I bought my own X 220 last year and it had good reviews in all areas.  BTW, another reason for my interest in the x230T - I already have the extended battery and docking station.)

    Thank you!

Yoga and other types of tablets are touch the base, if you use it for taking notes or drawing, get the Tablet XxxxT or Fujitsu tablet.

If you got the multitouch screen, so you would be able to use metro on windows interface 8.

Reviews are the first point of the search, but personal experiences count more. I think that you have X 220, you know the kind of things you can expect from the X230t.

  • Take the OCAJP 7 (1Z0-803) now or wait for 8 OCAJP (or similar)?

I intend to take the exam of OCAJP 7 1Z0-803. But since JDK 8 was released, I think that Oracle will come out of the JAVA Programmer exam based on JAVA 8 soon.

They could even provide updated JAVA 7 to 8, but will cost just extra money since JAVA 8 exams may be available soon.

So, should I wait OCAJP 8 & get the latest knowledge (and certification) or give the review OCAJP 7 & wait for his upgrade to JAVA 8?

Also any beta exams available for JAVA 8 that I should consider?

I generally do not recommend that to your certification plans on hold while you wait for Oracle University release a review.  They may well not release examination six months (maybe more - probably not much less).  Once it is released, the exam will be in beta for 3-4 months.  Then once it is beta, there will be a wait of three months while the OU uses the test results to determine where the review need to be corrected before it will go to the production (and know you whether or not you have passed).  Essentially, you might be looking at a year from now, give or take a few months, before you could possibly be certified in Java 8.

In addition, Java 8 is not that most of the applications are developed at this time. It is not this that companies looking for people certified at this time.  In a few years, the market for people with Java 8 knowledge will pass.  For now, I would recommend complete your certification of OCAJP 7.  When the beta for version 8 comes out, you could go ahead and take - because the cost of the review will be low and most of what you have learned in the review of the v7 will apply.  However, remain idle pending the review of version 8 is displayed.

  • PS $9.99 deal - sign up now or wait for January?

    Hello

I'm new to this and want sign up for photography for $ 9.99 (PS / Iightroom) process.
I will definitely want the last PS and will probably use it indefinitely, but I'm not 100% sure of price.

I have read all the questions and understand that Adobe will not be specific re. higher prices, if this happens, etc, but can someone answer me these questions:

-If I'm on a month to month contract and stay tuned for a year, the option pricing change?

-I see that the $9.99 contract has not changed since then? So I'm safely assuming that it won't?

-Should I register now (in which case the price increases in January) or start a Jan 1?

-The annual contract is worth it if you intend to hire adobe for a year or more? I guess it avoids the shock of price increase, but is that all?

    Thank you very much!

Well, you can visit plans pricing and membership creative cloud | Adobe Creative Cloud for plans and prices.

You can certainly go ahead and use the trial and once you can subscribe for the same thing.

For price comparison, please see the plans page.

  • What is the cause of the message "Waiting for Service ' Console CVD activity

    I have two related questions.

basis, I just started centralizing 200 computers ish, all except 2 appears fine, 2 questions, one below and another with VSS errors.  This message is just for the question "in waiting for the Service.

    1. What is the cause of the message "Waiting for Service ' Console CVD activity and is there anywhere that documents these meanings of status.
    2. No idea where I should start troubleshooting the message "Waiting for Service ' I get to the computer below.

I have a computer with this status which comes to have installed the client and will not be to centralize.  Other computers seem to work properly (centralized).

The computer is to ping requests, but appears as disconnected in the console.

I deleted the CVD and restarted the centralization CVD using a different policy on a different volume without change.
