Should I have JRE on my Windows XP system?
I have a Pentium III 800 MHz Dell with 512 MB RAM and running Windows XP. Recently I got a technician to do a new installation. The system works well, however I noticed that I don't have a JRE on my system. That I should? It will slow down the system? Are their security problems?
I use Microsoft Security Essentials and Spyware Blaster.
I suggest you do not install JRE until you come across something he needs.

should I have put windows 764-bit on this laptop - hp dv6000 2006 edition, came with xp? Dual processor 1.7, 2gbs ram
Hi, Steve.
My suggestion, because you do not know your exact model laptop, is to run the tool to scan the Crucial memory and it should tell you how your PC can take memory and how fast. I'm assuming that PC2-5300, based on your processor. PC2-6400 also works if it's cheaper to buy. It will just downclock at low speed 667 MHz.

You will need to borrow an installation disc to a former operating system Microsoft - Windows 95, 98 or me. There is no way around it. If person don't you know is an older drive, you can borrow for a few minutes, you will need, you will need to either buy a copy full XP or take the unit to a local computer professional to do the XP installation for you. Yes. In addition to an anti-virus program, you must also at least one
anti-spyware (two or three is even better) program. Windows Defender is
an anti-spyware program. But keep in mind:
I think McAfee is one of the two worst anti-virus programs on the
market (Norton is this one). I recommend that you run eSET NOD32
If you are willing to pay for anti-virus software, or one of the
the following three if you want for free anti-virus software:Avira
Avast
Microsoft Security EssentialsFor anti-spyware, I recommend running all three of the following:
MalwareBytes AntiMalware
SuperAntiSpyware
Windows Defender.

should I have reinstalled el capitan on flash part of the promenade of the merger?
Don't ask me why, but... After reformatting MacMini I rebooted ElCapitan on the web. He asks whether to load on the hard drive or what I imagine to be the flash of his fusion drive part. I loaded it on the hard drive. Should I have chosen the flash part for best performance? Any way to move it?
On another issue, any reason why I do not see standard folders in the finder window (such as photos, movies, etc.), or a users folder? Was it a result of reloading the system?
Thank you!
Joe
I know not what year Mac Mini you have. I'll assume you have a Mac Mini 2014 you bought with a Fusion (128 GB SSD, 1 TB of HDD) drive.
Looks like you have not re-Fusion your drive. If this is the case, you can restart in the restoration of the Internet (Command + Option + R), select disk utility, select one of the drives (SSD or HARD drive) and I hope disk utility will ask you to CHALLENGE or IGNORE the fuser unit. If you get this choice, choose FIX, so it can recreate your drive of Fusion. Then, you must reinstall OS X. Make sure have a return flow upward.
If you want to keep readers separated, they so that you install OS X on the SSD performance. But we must be aware that the SSD is ONLY 128 GB.
Your 2nd question, you will probably need to open Finder/preferences, then on sidebar. Check the folders you want to display in the sidebar.
