Should I keep my size of the slightly larger image for better quality?

I put my images at 60% quality JPG files from photoshop that seems to give a very nice representation.

I created a site to make a full screen, so I expect to be greater on a larger screen so what I see on mine.

I thought that to maintain each full-size image to 25% greater when the necessary finlal size in the layout, so if the site is never the larger screen then images have some stored resolution to be enlarged and receive an increase in size.

So all mine images are resized to about 75%.

It is a good practice or things don't work that way in Flash?

It is perhaps preferable to keep the images at 100% (rather than import intentially enlarges images) but to make maximum quality? Or the two senses, kind of work?

There is not a way to manipulate images is better for everyone.  more pictures, less pixelated they will appear when furred (use of smoothing) but the larger size and more they will take for a user to load.

You must choose what meets your needs and that works best for you.

  • Size of the very large file for a single slide - is this normal?

    I work at 8 Captivate with .cptx file size ~ 500MB. I wanted to send an example of a click box (including placement, size and text indication) to a colleague. To make it easy for him, I want to send a single slide with this interaction, so it can copy and paste.

    I saved the file under a new name, and then I deleted all other slides. The size of the new file was still almost 400 MB! Then I deleted all unused library items and the link to a .ppt presentation. This reduces the size to about 300 MB.

    It's normal... Unfortunately.

    I still want to find settings that will build a DVD that can be played by viewers who don't know how to change the settings on a DVD player or TV sets.  I'd like my DVD disc to play in the same way that a disk trading DVD play a movie full screen with no adjustment for the DVD player.

    Is not possible.  Even commercial/Hollywood records are incorrectly displayed by users who cannot or will not set up their players and televisions properly.  For example, to insert a DVD widescreen anamorphic in the DVD player and say the DVD player the TV is 4:3 (even if it's a 16:9 HDTV).  Cycle then the TV through all its report parameters; you will see quite an array of distortions and image sizes, only which is the right size of ratio and image.

    That said, if commercial discs if displays correctly using parameters you have, then properly drafted widescreen DVD from en should work correctly as well.  2 BD players (which assume a TV 16:9 by default) display it correctly also indicates the settings on DVD players are false.

  • [CS5] Change the size of the possible related images by updating the source?

    In a catalogue, I use 400 cases of 10 small labels. The labels are in a linked Illustrator file. I would like to be able to adjust the size of these labels simply by changing the file source and updated the link.

    I know Indesign is normally set up to preserve the physical size of the images, but I thought I could change this by a combination of options of file management and mounting the frame object Style options. I tried various things but so far without success.

    Is this possible?

    Update: I can change the size of the image allright, but the image does not follow. The mounting frame object Style options work only the first time?

    Is there a solution?

    Preference to preserve Image Dimensions when rebinding, when not checked, should retain the same scale, but it is not all cut a dry with an illustrator file, I think. Much will depend on how you change the dimensions to Illy your cropping choices when you have placed the art. If you chose the media and you do not change the size of the artboard, ID is not going to see a change in size. If you chose the rectangle enclosing or Art, most likely a size change will be detected. Is this clear?

  • In IE9, it has a zoom feature that is the size of the screen larger or smaller. I don't find any such feature with Firefox. Can he do this? Do not confuse my question with 'full screen '.

    In IE9, under Tools, there are a zoom feature that adjusts the viewing size. Zoom in or Zoom out. Is this possible in Firefox?

    If you select the menu bar, the View Menu contains a Zoom feature. You can also access the shortcut Ctrl + and Ctrl - if you are not using the menu bar. If you have a mouse wheel, you can hold Ctrl and scroll up and down to use the Zoom feature.

    I believe that by default, the Zoom feature only increases the size of the text. You can change this by activating the Menu bar and unchecking 'Zoom text only', as indicated in the pictures below.

    Your D drive is the configuration of your Partition recovery by the manufacturer of your computer.
    It is used to restore your system in case it crashes.
    It is not to be touched, adds anything in or remove anything from him.

    Start/Search/*.jpg should be able to locate the folder, though it may take a little. Or, check the settings for the screen saver on the old machine to see which directory is used.

  • How long should we keep logs archived in the comic book?

    11.2.0.4 DB Oracle Linux 6.5

    We have a database whose archive generation is as follows.

    Average of generation of archive log: 400 GB/day

    Max log generation: 900 GB/day

    Archive log diskgroup size: 4 TB

    Backup strategy: we take full backups on Monday and Wednesday and Level1 for the rest of the days.

    -----------------

    Sunday-> level 0 backup

    Monday-> level 1 backup

    Tuesday-> level 1 backup

    Wednesday-> level 0 backup

    Thursday-> level 1 backup

    Friday-> level 1 backup

    Saturday-> level 1 backup

    Both Level0 and Level1 scripts have MORE ARCHIVELOG; (without a clause to DELETE all THE ENTRIES )

    We have archiveLog backup script that runs at 10:00 and 16:00 which does not REMOVE all ENTRIES either.

    We serve the archivelogs of Level0 and Level1 backup scripts, with the following command

    delete noprompt archivelog until 'SYSDATE -2";

    Question1. What is the industry standard to keep (retention period), archiving within DB logs? Is there a 'formula' / rule for this? When a restore, recovery lose us not a lot of time restore backup media archivelogs. That's why we stay 2 days now archivelog within the DB.

    Question2. We have 4 TB of space to store the archivelogs in this particular PB. With 900 GB Max generation arch daily newspapers, we can keep safe the last 3 days of the archivelogs. Right? I mean, is there a possibility of hitting the terrible archiver error if we increase the shelf life of the archive logs using the delete noprompt archivelog until 'SYSDATE -3';

    N ° DELETE OBSOLETE removes old newspapers also all the log_archive_dest.

    I could be wrong, but this is the first I hear of this and on a quick scan, I found no support in that either rman reference or guide the user to rman.  Could cite your source?

    DELETE OBSOLETE is not the same thing as REMOVE EXPIRES.

    -EDIT

    Never mind.  I found it.

    DELETE

    OBSOLETE Removes backups of data files and copies stored in the repository RMAN which are obsolete, in other words, is no longer required (see example 2-66). RMAN also deletes the log of the obsolete filesand archived redo log backups.

    RMAN determines what backups and copies of data files are no longer needed, which in turn determines what records (and backups of logs) are no longer needed. RMAN considers that the creation of a data file as a backup to decide which connects to keep.

    Historically, I saved my archivelogs with the option to DELETE the ENTRIES, I never had reason to notice or question this behavior... a rman DELETE OBSOLETE reach out to the archivelogs themselves.   Thinking maybe it was related to the maintenance of the FRA, I just tried a little test in two ways... archivlogs wrote to FRA and archivelogs writes destined for non - FRA.  Of course, anyway DELETE OBSOLETE also deleted real archivelogs.  I don't know that I'll change my procedures as well, but it is good to know.

    I learned something new today.  Can I go home now?

  • Change the size of the screen once created for publication

    I hope it's a simple Yes or no question.  Little a newbie - here's my first attempt

    I created a new project, but the published file is too large for the browser and you scroll to the top and bottom to see the buttons and control part of the screen.

    What I would like ot be able to do is the change in the size of oiutput now that it has been created.

    Is it possible, or do I just start from scratch and resize the window of the application that I'm capturing from.

    There should also be a link to a survey at the end - i've got this working through these forums (I hope)

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    You can resize a project, but I recommend you keep the aspect ratio in order to have less loss of quality. It is a little difficult to show the way, because you don't mention the CP version you are using. If it is version 5, you will find the scale option in the menu edit, but in previous versions, it was in the Project menu.
