should I service pack of microsoft office if I don't have microsoft office?

Do I need microsft office 2007 service pack if I don't have microsoft office. It's a big file, and if I don't need, I would remove it from my computer.

If you installed Office 2007, then you may need service pack. Otherwise, it is not necessary. MD MOEEN AJAZ KHAN - MCP, N +, A +.

    Hello

Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.

It will also tell you here what Service Packs, if any, are already installed.

Then, choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Packs, first of all the installation of SP1.

  • If I delete the backup of the Service Pack files to create more disk space, I have created a potential problem?

Periodically, I use Disk Cleanup to create more space and speed up the startup time. Today when my computer is on, it took an extra long time but when I ran disk cleanup, the amount of space to win does not jive with the time it took to load. Then I pulled the top "Clean up System Files" and cleaning the my backup files of the Service Pack, I have everything to gain from 920 MB of space.

Question: If I delete those, am I causing potential damage to my system?

  • Why the automatic updates to install the Service Pack 4 (KB2463332) on my computer? I have windows XP

I have Windows XP Professional version 2002 service pack 3, this computer is on a network, but it is NOT the server. This update hase until now tried to install 24 times, and continues on a daily basis through automatic updates. Initially, I tried several things to actually force the installation until I found a link here, who said that he was only for servers. So, I need two things... If I do not need this update and how to stop it coming as an update critical for my computer? or if it's my computer, how can I install?

Thank you for your time, Jenny

KB2463332 is an option, not the security update. Do not hesitate to 'hide '.

    ====================

    1. stop the automatic updates service:

    Start > run > services.msc (enter) > [OK]
Double-click Automatic Updates > click Stop
(Stopping the service will take a moment)

2 remove the contents of the download folder:

    Start > run > %windir%\SoftwareDistribution (enter) > [OK]
Open the download folder and delete its contents
    Close the window.

    3. go to the Windows Update Web site. Select CUSTOM and allow the analysis to be performed. Uncheck the box/deselect KB2463332 (look in the SOFTWARE OPTIONAL category on the left side) and hide ("don't show me this update").

    4. start the automatic updates service:

    Start > run > services.msc (enter) > [OK]
Double-click Automatic Updates > click Start
(Starting the service will take a moment)

  • Update Service Pack 2

I already have Service Pack 1 on my computer and Vista.  I'm trying to automatically upgrade to Service Pack 2 and the error code: 80093102.  I'm not in a position to know what means this error code.  When I try to manually install Service Pack 2, I said that I don't have Service Pack 1.  So I try to install Service Pack 1, but tells me that it is already installed.  I go back to try to install the Service Pack 2 but tells me once more that I don't have Service Pack 2.  Sounds like a Catch 22.  Any suggestions?

I try to activate the Fax Service. He keeps asking me: a CD with 'Windows Professional Service Pack 3 '. Of course, I don't have such a CD. When I try Microsoft doewnloading they tell me this service pack is 64-bit, but my computer is running 32-bit. Anyone has an idea how to get around this and activate my fax service?

XP is expensive now, or maybe you can get a legal CD of a person. You won't have to reinstall you can move the license to your computer, and then install the fax from the CD. You will have also the CD incase never reinstall you or need something else of it.
