  Note that the "Adobe" in front of the names of these applications ([Player] Flash and Shockwave)--> you are asking in the wrong place--> Adobe would be a better place to ask questions about these products.

  Not to mention that it can be as simple games that you are trying to play is not compatible with the latest version of Adobe Flash Player or Adobe Shockwave.

  My general suggestion is to uninstall all versions of Adobe all products listed in your Control Panel programs & features, restart your computer and manually download and install the latest version directly from the Adobe web site.

  You can also try other browsers (Mozilla Firefox (15.x) or Google Chrome (I think that the latest stable version is 21.0.1180.89) to see how they react.)

  It is specific to a particular file or all the files that you are trying to open, gives you the error.

  You will have problems in the construction of a 99 X system for this budget. You need 32 GB of ram if you do that will be a large part of the cost with DDR4 right now. If you have a room on the X 99 budget would certainly be the way forward. The 5960 X is the best processor out right now but $1100 will probably push your budget. The 5930 K would still work and a much better price for your budget. I suggest: 970GTX with this budget as well. Forget the Xeon V3. They are out of your budget and not worth the price with this budget in mind. You can get a system much better with the I7 Haswell E chips.

  I've used Adobe Photoshop elements 9 and Adobe Premiere elements 9 times on my old computer with Windows XP operating system without problem. Now I have a new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit operating system.  I installed both programs, but when I try to update I get a message saying "the update server is not responding.  The server may be temporarily offline or the internet parameter or a firewall may be incorrect.  Please try again later. "I tried several times with the same result.  I tried two programs uninstall and re - install, but still get the same message.  What should I do to be able to update these programs in order to set up and use? Information with the said programs that they both work under Windows XP and 7.

  I've experimented on the use of < iframe > instead of < object >. No change. Cache cleared on each attempt.

  If it works in Firefox Safe mode and then disable all extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) and then try to find out who is causing by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.

• Excel and Adobe Acrobat say "no printer is installed.

  Running Vista on a desktop computer.  Just installed SP2 and since that time cannot print from excel or adobe acrobat.  Both of them give the error message that no printer is installed.  Tried to remove all printers and reinstall the drivers directly from the manufacturer's Web site.  The same problem.  Word and other programs to print very well.  Someone at - it other ideas on a solution.
