Hello. Can I reinstall CS2 with its upgrade CS5 and Lightroom 3 on my new computer in Windows 10?
You need not install CS2 if your real intention is to install CS5. You should be able to simply provide the serial number for CS2 as the eligible product when you activate CS5.

Hi there, I need to be able to read the raw files on an Olympus Stylus 1 via CS5 and Lightroom 4. I downloaded Raw plugin v 6.7.1 file but still cannot read the files?
Read this http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html table
The Olympus Stylus 1 was first supported Camera 8.3 crude which is compatible with the CS6 and CC.
It is not compatible with CS5 or more and never will be.
If you do not upgrade to CS6 or CC, then you can dwonload the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all Stylus 1 Raw files to DNG, and then edit the DNG in CS5.

Can I uninstall CS5 and CS6 before downloading CC?
I have Master Creative Suite CS5 (drive) installed on my iMAC running Mountain Lion 10.8.5. Some time ago, I subscribed to the creative cloud and installed CS6. Problem it caused me to have to wipe the hard drive and restore from the backup drive. My last backup was in September last year which was before I installed creative applications Cloud CC. I would like to install the CC apps. Uninstall the CS5 and CS6 apps first? At this point, neither CS5 or CS6 applications have been updated.
Hi Stormy_Weather,
It would be best to uninstall CS5 and CS6 before installing creative Cloud applications as previous versions are restored from a backup who could cause problems.
Kind regards
Akshay

Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom hangs up
I have CS5 and Lightoom 3 installed and both are executed correctly, installed photoshop a week ago. When I run photoshop he hangs up on the blue loading screen in preferences and just stay there. Lightroom will stop on the first image to start loading. There was no change in my part of them work for now does not. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
As it may seem to be stuck trying to load preferences, try return preferences to default values of compensation:
Here is some info on how to restore all default settings preferences. Basically, press and hold Ctrl - Shift - Alt immediately after starting Photoshop since its entry icon or menu.
http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/Photoshop/CS/using/WSfd1234e1c4b69f30ea53e41001031ab64-74aaa.h tml
If the approach "Press and hold the keys" does not work, then you might just try to delete the preferences file. All the locations of the special files are provided on this page:

I have recently install my CD of CS5 version as my old computer crashed. I think that I have installed the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. When I tried to download updates, what told me please close the following applications to continue; Adobe Bridge CS5 (Bridge.exe)
However, Bridge is not running and when I found the file, then click to uninstall I get a message that the action cannot be performed because the file is opened in Adobe Bridge CS5. I'm going along in circles. I want to uninstall Bridge and Photoshop, so that I can reinstall again. I'm on Windows 10.
What can I do?
Hi michaeld1,
Please, open the Task Manager and find the Bridge.exe running process and interrupt the process.
Kind regards

I then downloaded lightroom 6 and couldn't open it
you need VC 9.0 or better.
your cs5 and the lr5 can not update to that. Use the dng Converter:

Loading of CS5 and Lightroom 4 on new computer
I have CS5 and LR4 on my laptop. I have all the disks. I bought a new desktop computer. I understand that I can get photoshop & lightroom on 2 computers under license. To load the CS5 and LR4 on the new desktop computer, would copy LR3 and download updates and then load LR4? If that makes any difference, these are some student edition with licenses.
You don't install older versions. They are not required.
Just install CS5 and LR4, enter the serial numbers and the installation program will ask you a previous version serial number during the installation of the LR4.
