Show database Service Name In wrong LSITENER Service listener

Dear gurus,

I need your help to understand such things listener.
Resume:
Server: Linux RH5
Oracle: 10 2
In this server, I have 2 allows instances of so-called database DMWEB and PIE
Because many times we need to restart the listener to PIUS I opt for listener separately for each database.
So, I created 2 Listener:

LISTENER_CFMP =
(DESCRIPTION_LIST =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = srvldbp13) (PORT = 1522)
(SEND_BUF_SIZE = 4194304)
(RECV_BUF_SIZE = 4194304)
)
)
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = srvldbp13) (PORT = 1521)
(SEND_BUF_SIZE = 4194304)
(RECV_BUF_SIZE = 4194304)
)
)
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC))
)
)
)
SID_LIST_LISTENER_CFMP =
(SID_LIST =
(SID_DESC =
(ORACLE_HOME = u01/app/oracle/product/10.2)
(SID_NAME = PIE)
)
)
)

LISTENER_DMWEB =
(DESCRIPTION_LIST =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = srvldbp13) (PORT = 1523)
(SEND_BUF_SIZE = 4194304)
(RECV_BUF_SIZE = 4194304)
)
)
(ADDRESS_LIST =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = CIP)(KEY = EXTPROC1))
)
)
)
SID_LIST_LISTENER_DMWEB =
(SID_LIST =
(SID_DESC =
(SDU = 32767)
(ORACLE_HOME = u01/app/oracle/product/10.2)
(SID_NAME = DMWEB)
)
)
)

When I get the status for each listener, I get:

LSNRCTL > set current_listener LISTENER_CFMP
Current listener is LISTENER_CFMP

Why the Services belonging to the DMWEB database are on the listener PIE?
This Services are in LISTENER_CFMP when they should be in right LISTENER_DMWEB?

What have I done wrong in the listener configuration?

Carlos

LOCAL_LISTENER should be used as soon as you do not work with the default port 1521.

  • ERPI adapter - eRPI configuration database Service name

    Hello all-

    We do a first installation on a new 11.1.2.1 eRPI planning environment. We have eRPI pull EBS data successfully, but the stage of importation of FDM gives an error: "error of creation of the database link. Import using the FDM adapter and format linked to this format to import was created at the location of the FDM.

    We followed PowerPoint presentations on the website of Oracle created by Mr. Paffhausen during the configuration of the eRPI, as well as the Readme file for the adapter. When we set up the adapter, a field that I wasn't sure was "eRPI database Service name". We went with put the server name that is on the database of the eRPI. Is this correct? I want to rule out this possibility before going down other paths.

    Thanks for any help in advance.

    I've set up a new service of database on a cluster of 3 nodes running 11.1.0.6 and I can start service manually without any problem, but if I bounce the database, the database service does not automatically start even if the database is running - what is the procedure to make sure that the service starts automatically with the database?

    Hello

    you kill the instance or has he stopped?

    If you stop it then it is planned. You must move the service first.

    If the instance is aborted abnormally (or the server is killed) it should failover.

  • Database service

    Hello

    I created a database using DBMS_SERVICE basic service. CREATE_SERVICE.

    The environment is a very basic 11.2.0.3.6 single-instance database running on Linux. There is no Infrastructure of grid not installed so no Oracle Restart or using srvctl to create, start, and stop services. It's just an installation single instance RDBMS software and a database.

    My question is how do the database service start to restart the database?

    DBMS_SERVICE. START_SERVICE ('serv_name'); of course, works and if I run this command, I can see that the service appears as registered with the LISTENER.

    After I start the database that I have to run the DBMS_SERVICE. START_SERVICE manually despite service in the SERVICE_NAME and DBA_SERVICES setting.

    I have to use a trigger to start to start the service at the start of the database? How are user created services that are started automatically in a database to single instance in the absence of grid Infrastructure?

    Any input appreciated, thank you.

    Hello

    You can use a simple trigger to start the service.

    create or replace trigger serv_trigger

    AFTER THE START WE DATABASE

    BEGIN

    DBMS_SERVICE. START_SERVICE ('serv_name');

    END;

    Just an FYI, in case you decide to use srvctl - add/edit services with srvctl as changes with DBMS_SERVICE will be always lost unless they are also made with the corresponding srvctl command. Attribute of service changes will take effect immediately starting with 11.2.0.2 when the service is started or changed by srvctl.

    Kind regards
