How to copy pictures on cd

HP TouchSmart 600

Windows 7 64 bit

I'm new on this pc and can't find anything about this operation. How to copy pictures from the hard disk (drive c) on a CD? I don't seem to have all the apps that will do. HP offers to burn a DVD, but not sure it will work for a cd. Thanks for any help.

You should be able to click with the right button on the folder of photos, click on "send to" and select "DVD - RW" to write your photos on a CD in the optical drive.

  • How to copy pictures to a new directory?

Is it possible to copy a bunch of images in a new directory in LR?  I tried the trail of usual click the right button and now Ctrl-down while dragging, but none of those who work.

Ideally, I would like to make virtual copies in a new directory, but if this is not possible, is there a way to copy a whole bunch of LR images in a new directory?

Please do not suggest using virtual done deal in the same directory that I am already aware of this and I would like to find an answer that is easier on the management of my image to that.  I want to significantly different changes to a bunch of images and I don't want these images in the same directory as the original for reasons of image management.

Lightroom does not have copies of the way you are trying to use. Therefore, the simpler you do what your request is to make the copies outside of Lightroom, give them a new name and then import them.

    Hello

Your pictures folder should be in your USER NAME folder... you can do other institutions, you discovered...

My photos link appears when I click on libraries, but you don't seem to have listed...

One thing you can do however, is to access your folder of IMAGES as you wanted just to see and once in the folder, right click on FAVORITES on the left and select "Add current location to Favorites".

  • How to copy or send pictures from windows photo gallery to my pictures in Windows Vista?

How to copy or send photos of the Gallery Pho Windows to my pictures (Progr. is Windows Vista), or to copy them to another external hard drive

Your photos are not archived in the Windows Photo Gallery... it access
the files for viewing and changing the location, they are saved in the
your hard disk... probably your pictures folder.

The only pictures actually stored by Windows Photo Gallery are the
original versions of photos that have been published. It is for the purpose
back to if you are unhappy with the version published the photo.

The original photos (unpublished) are located in the following folder:
    C:\Users\\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows Photo Gallery\
    Original images.

If you right click on a thumbnail in the Windows Photo Gallery and choose...
Open the file location... you can find the current folder, the file is saved in.

You can right click on a picture or a selected group of photos or a complete
folder in the menu... Choose... Send to... a menu is displayed
which should include your extra hard drive.

Also you can drag and drop or copy and paste files from one hard disk to another.

  • How to copy a slide show on my desktop for a dvd disc? It has music and pictures on it.

I made a slideshow with music and images and it works fine on my computer I want to burn to disc dvd, how do I do this?

    Hi Daniel,.

I think that the simple article will answer your question: http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/how-to-copy-your-digital-image-slideshow-to-dvd.pageCd-storyboard, pageNum - 1.html.

This article may be a little more in tune with what you try to do with what you have.  Procedures are very detailed: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/dvd-photo-slideshow/.

The following article covers the process in a series of questions and the second to last covers how to include audio and the last how to burn the DVD.  http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Burn-a-DVD-Video-disc.  If necessary or useful, see additional article links along the right edge of the item for more information and details (and with those, do the same) and finally you will get to see all that Microsoft has on the topic regarding the useful articles.  It will take longer than the other items, but will give you a deeper understanding of the entire process (and may be the best way to start to learn the basics and then move from there to an article on the procedure that seem you so much easier to understand (and can change the way that you want to create the slide show).)

It is a little more detailed (and at the same time less detailed), but covers how more info on how to create the slide show that the way to move physically to a DVD, but it can be useful, I included it: http://www.ehow.com/how_4797332_dvd-slideshow.html.

I suspect the first or the second will be the most useful - if the third gives the best overview, if you follow through all the articles referenced as well.

If your problems persist, please explain what exactly goes wrong and where, and we'll try to troubleshoot it.  If that proves to be too much trouble, we will download a special burning software and do it directly - but I had rather you try these options first because they are simpler and should be available and are already well explained (as I need to explain this another solution much more in detail because it is not prepared in advance anywhere).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • How to copy or delete location?

Here is my latest for tonight:

Often, I import photos from two or three cameras or phones. Some of them without GPS. However, I would like to have info important location on my photos, as a search criterion.

(I know that you can add location via the popup of tiny Information. It is good to have. But it would be good even if I could resize it. "And as the display of standard maps missing quite often the details, it would be nice to be able to switch to the satellite view).

I often assign to photos location information in the same place as the other photos have the location information. So I open the mark Information and copy the location, select the photo without location and paste the location of the fist photo. It seems to work. Unfortunately, it does not copy the data of the actual location, but only the text string. And after it was stuck for the second picture, he's trying to find the actual location, according to the channel. In most cases it does not get this right.

And if you go back, you can't, because there seems to be no way to remove the manually added location... I guess that it is stored in the database and not on the photo itself, as the Photos done with any changes.

So if you know how to copy - paste location and/or remove location through some less than obvious, please let me know

You can buy external editors for extension of Photos in the App store ($0.99) and use it in edit mode to look at the details of the location in the Inspector pane and you can then enter theminto other photos

  • When I click on "Copy picture", when I use the dough, it's to show the image URL

    Hello

I'm having a problem about the exemplary Image resource. I need to copy and paste a lot of images to work.

I click on an image, holding control and then press "copy picture". But when I paste, it shows the URL of the image and not the image. I tried on different browsers and apps, but the same error occurs.

Can someone help me please? How should I do? It has changed from one day to the other.

    Thank you

It looks like you use context Menus to copy your images. Depending on your machine or software, each user will have different contextual shortcuts.

You might do better to use an application like SnapnDrag, which is free in its basic mode.

  • How to copy an iPhoto Library AND photos

With the help of iPhoto Library Manager I made a copy of my iPhoto library to a new external drive, but I noticed that when I opened the library copied, the photos it contains are always referenced to the original photos, no copies on the new drive, as I had hoped.

If as expected, how a copy an iPhoto Library AND photos referenced to a new location, on an external drive, as is any independent on the new drive?

    Thank you

    Geoff

    Simple:

Go to your pictures folder and find the iPhoto library here. Drag it to the external hard drive. It will make an exact copy it

    Fact.

Warnings: the player must be directly connected (USB, lightning etc.) and Mac OS extended (journaled) format

Are you running a Managed or referenced library?

A managed, library is the default setting, and iPhoto copies the files in the iPhoto library during import. The files are then stored in the library package

A referenced library is where iPhoto does NOT copy the files in the iPhoto Library when importing because you have made a change to iPhoto-> preferences-> advanced. (You unchecked the option to copy files in the library to import) The files are then stored wherever you put them and not in the library package. In this scenario, you are responsible for the management of files.

If you have a library that is referenced, then it is much more complicated.
