  Is there a way when you use the calendar control type in a command prompt to force do not display the timestamp of the date part? I tried to use a column with any type of DATE as the quick column but it always shows the full date and timestamp after I select my calendar values and hit go.   There are more partitions on the HARD drive.
  You can see it in disk management.
  Right click on computer and select manage.
  Now you should be able to go to the disk management which will show you all the available partitions.

  A hidden partition is used for the Windows 7 backup files that are needed to fix the Windows 7 in the case where something goes wrong with the OS.
  Then, you can find a Windows partition and the other partition is used for HARD drive recovery. The point is that you are able to run the system recovery from the HARD drive without the use of the recovery disc (recover disk must be created using the recovery disc creator)

  OK, I just created my first page of the login of the user (using the dreamweaver builtin functions).  Nowi have successfully built a MySQL database, insert a table with username, userPass and e-mail.  The login page works correctly and redirects to the authorized page

  Now, this is where I get lost.  On the authorized page, I want that it lists the information related to that user only, IE display their username and your email address.  What I can't work.  I'm sure you must filter to show only the logged-in user, but I can't see anything at all.

  1. I have a variable of type DATE, which I attribute the value of SYSDATE

   mydatevar DATE:= SYSDATE;

  2. I want to find * «today» *, truncated to DATE

    TRUNC (mydatevar, 'DD')

  TRUNC function returns the DATE data type. So I get to the point for example 2 *'2010-01-13 00:00:00 ' *.
  
  3. I want to assign the value of the point 2, to a variable of type TIMESTAMP

    mytimestampvar TIMESTAMP := mydatevar;

  implicitly that will convert the variable DATE to TIMESTAMP.

  I don't think you lose necessarily any information whatsoever. It is probably more a function of your NLS_TIMESTAMP_FORMAT and NLS_DATE_FORMAT. For example, your NLS_DATE_FORMAT could be default setup for a HH24 (24 hours) which would report to midnight as hours of "00". However, it seems that your NLS_TIMESTAMP_FORMAT is configured with "HH" format with a Meridian indicator that means 12 hours time.

  Your comparisons should use date/timestamp data types anyway, so as long as the input value is correctly converted to date type that shouldn't matter in any case.

  You can see what is actually stored by using the DUMP function:

  As you can see the TSTAMP and DT store almost the same values (218,7,1,13), but the TSTAMP has more precision because of fractions of a second.

  Once I met a similar problem like the one you describe. I suspect that the problem was related to the data that the report was released.
  I was able to make the problem disappear by disabling "Partial Page Refresh" for the report. Define 'NO' for the attribute "Activate partial Refresh of Page" in the page 'Report attributes' disable PPR for the report.

  I have a form on apex 3.0 page. This form has a 2 textarea element and configuration of width for 110 and the maximum width is 500. After a user to enter data on all points, when he clicks on support I branch to another page that has been copied from the page of the form, but this time I want to make the textarea elements and other elements appearing on this page read-only, I have no success with making the textarea a readonly. I changed the readonly condition point to say always, it worked bu it shows the data on a long line it does'nt keep the same width as the text box has.

  In the attributes of your text box HTML form elements put disabled = "yes" or readonly = "readonly".
