I have also run the sfc/scannow command in the prompt nd at the end he told me that the corrupted files have been found, but not all of them could be fixed. I have no no that much about computers of operation but I suspect that it is a bigger problem then just DVD Maker because when I try to put these files in Movie Maker, they're fine, but then when you play them or drag them to the timeline is no sound or picture. I've only had this computer for a few months and reallly wish I can use DVD Maker because all I have not use it and really like it. Please help me

  I'm having some trouble adding a second digital signature to an already digitally signed PDF file. The library that I use to manage PDF files is open source, so I change the PDF files programmatically. The first PDF I produce, PDF1 (PDF with a signature), has a valid digital signature. The second PDF file I produce, PDF2 (the PDF file with two signatures), has the second marked signature as valid, but the first as not valid with the following error:

  Error during signature verification.  
  Unexpected byte range values defining scope of signed data.
  Details: The signature byte range is invalid
  

  I have read and applied all the "best practices" on the PDF digital signature, so I add the second signature in incremental mode and I am sure that the second PDF has no change in the first part, this is because if I do a binary comparison of PDF1 PDF2, the first part of the PDF2 equals PDF1. So, if you remove the part of PDF2 (after the first %% EOF), you get PDF1, once again, with the digital signature is valid. So the problem seems to be in something again in the part of PDF2 making Acrobat Reader X think that the first digital signature is not valid.

  I don't know if this helps, but I found something unusual with your PDF2. Just at the beginning of the second incremental update (with the new signature), the first object is added without a carriage return. This the last line of the previous update mark looks like this:

  Perhaps which leads to an incorrect analysis and then invalidates the signature? Not sure on this subject, but as far as I can read offsets, your ranges of bytes are correct.

• ACS 3.3 invalid or corrupted SSL certificate installed

  Hello

  I installed a new SSL certificate to replace the old one which was about to expire. After this update of cert, I can access is no longer the ACS server for admin purposes. I get the error "cannot establish connection cifered because the certificate presented by is invalid or damaged. Error code:-8101 "or something similar that the message is in Spanish.

  I tried to restart the CSAdmin service without success. I also watched ath the different CS tools but none of them does this nor is the Guide to GBA.

  Is there a way to remove the certificate from the command line or other?

  AY help would be appreciated because I don't want to reinstall/rebuild the server.

  If the EC is 3.3.4 or below then it can be disabled through the registry. 4.x do not have registry settings to tweak.

  For 4.x

  A possible workaround we have is that if a GBA backup taken prior to activation of the HTTPS is there, we can restore the same and work around the problem.

  For 3.3.x

  To restore access using http on your server, you must change the registry setting

  to disable the https. Here's the location of the key "reg":

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOFTWARE \Cisco \CiscoAAAv3.2 \CSAdmin \Config \HTTPSSupport

  Change this value from 2 to 1.

  Using Acrobat 9 Pro with a new server certificate to a different certification authority that I tried to put a signature invalid in a pdf file. For some reason any acrobat gives me the "Signature is invalid" message with a red cross. When I open the Details dialog box of the certificate I see a "!" down with the message "the path of the certificate selected contains errors: invalid policy constraint. I'm not really sure what it means? the constraints are not valid?   You came to the right place. Signature validation begins with trust. If you do not trust the signer, or one of the certificates in the chain of signature, then nothing happens. A signature string looks like this:

  Big Time CA root Cert

  Intermediate CA

  End entity (the signatory, or in this case, you)

  You must assign trust at least one of the certificates in the signature string. You can either add trust via the dialog manage identities approved or by a preference where you can inherit trust from the Windows certificate store (Windows only, not Mac). To see the string in the signature you want to do the following:

  • Right mouseclick on the signature
  • Select Show Signature properties in the pop-up menu
  • Click view certificate in the Signature Properties dialog box
  • The string is displayed in the tree view on the left side of the dialog box

  If you select the trust tab, and then different certificates in the output string, you will be able to see what is the anchor of trust.

  Enough confidence, to Restrictions of strategy. When a certification authority (CA) issues certificates, they will often add the certificate policy extension. You can find this by selecting the Details tab, and then scroll the list box for the certificate policies. Politics is a long number in dotted line that acts as a marker for a specific set of rules. The rules themselves tend to be published online in a "Certificate Practice Statement" document, but becomes a bit beyond the scope of your problem. The rule can mean something as all certificates under this political constraint problems are communicated to the employees of the company XYZ and must be a hardware token. This is an example of something you might see but I do not say it the exact scenario that appeal to you.

  The root CA generally do not have an extension of certificate policy, but all the certificates under it make sense that this string obeys a set of specific rules.

  On the application of the rules. Let's say you have this Big Time, which issues certificates for IBM, Microsoft, Apple and Adobe. Each of these strings contain a different certification policy. Now, let's say that I trust it Big Time, which means that each signature that created this channel until Big Time would be reliable and valid. Now let's say I want to only trust the signatures coming from my fellow Adobe employees. What I would do, is add a policy of Restriction to the trust setting, which makes the more granular trust.

I mean something data in the certificate policies field edition which seems to be gray. If Yes, then the signatory certificate and other certificates in the chain must have the numbered in certificate policy Extension.

  If the restriction is there, you can remove it by going in the dialog Manage approved identities , you can get from the menu Advanced . From there, you will need to select certificates from the drop-down list display. Find the certificate that corresponds to the anchor of the trust, selected in the drop-down list, and then click Edit Trust . Finally, select the policy Restrictions on the dialog box change the Certificate Trust. However, I'm not, and advise you to break any policy of the company if they want the restriction in place.
