  my request in real-time has a motion control loop and a loop of data acquisition. Before the move, the starting position is read once in the motion control loop and recorded as a shared single process with fifo variable single active element (I want to save only the last value). The starting position is then read several times in the loop of the acquisition of data and compared to the actual position. The movement is stopped in the DAQ loop when the difference between the starting position and the actual position reaches a certain displacement of the target.

  It is a strange behavior, usually the variable should return the last value written. You write the variable in another place of the code too? You debug the application?

  What is the RT platform you are working? Version of LabVIEW?

  I suggest using a "functional Global Variable" and see if you still get this random values.

  I read the NOR recommended for communication between a loop deterministic and non-deterministic loop.  He is said to use SVariable ingle-process Shared FIFO and single element.  OK I can't have something... because in my mind these two things must be mutually exclusive.  How do you have a single item 1?

  

  What 'RT FIFO activé' means, that when you use the variables shared in a timed loop it actually is written to a RT FIFO created automatically.

  The key here is that generally shared variables are shared resources and can add jitter to deterministic tasks if another loop uses the variable at the same time as your loop of deterministic.

  So here's the takeaway, when shared with RT FIFO active Variables using:

  • Normal loops read and write the shared variable in the same way as they always do.
  
  
  • Call loops read and write a FIFO RT rather
  
  
  • The data is automatically passed between the RT FIFOs and shared in a nondeterministic loop variable

  RT FIFOs exist because their architecture referred to as non-blocking so that when the timed loop trying to access it is guaranteed immediate access to a memory space.

  It is called sharing resources.  When you use a variable shared unique process, only one thread accesses it at a time.  So what is happening is a tent to read, but B is busy writing on it.  So wait, adding a jig.

  With the RT FIFO active, you don't have this problem.  One can read from the FIFO as B adds another element.

  For many of the projects I'm working on that I need to provide customers with a high resolution, low resolution and ready to print their documents. It is not a huge deal to run the export of Indesign 3 times, but I wonder if there is a batch process that can do at once? For the moment, I'm archiving work and it's a major pain to do this for each file!

  I have been a script, perhaps a droplet of acrobat or action, Distiller affecting thinking, or perhaps a third-party app?

  Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I looked for something like this for a while, but the only thing I found is out factory of Zervik - I'm not yet sure he does several types of indd. But surely there are free tools or some intelligent workflows that I have not yet stumbled...

• Single-click buttons requires two clicks to work. Someone at - it solutions?

  In Captivate 9.0.0.230 I have a slide with two buttons that beep if you click on it. However, one of two simple clicks (not double-click) required to work.

  Settings are the same on both buttons.

  Problem returns only if I publish/Preview in HTML5 (even in different browsers on Windows). All buttons works fine in Flash.

  Someone had the same problem, or better, a solution?

  Seems that the problem only comes up (in the combination, I described above) if I publish in the form of a scorm package and view it locally. If I publish to LMS (in this case Opigno) it works fine.

  Because tasks human istances are indipendet since the life cycle of the process, my end of process, but I have same human task always open.
  
  How can I close these human tasks always open when the process is complete?
  Is there sort via the BPM API or any other way to do it automatically in the path?

  I'm sure I misunderstood what it is that you do, but it seems you have a parallel gateway in your process and you have a path (your 'B' path) that comes out through the join and the other path (your 'A') has the opportunity to go out with an end event.

  If this is the case, then you might want to change that a parallel to the contrary to be a bridge parallel and complex gateway. Before you start, you want to add a new string data object in your process that store the result of the Interactive activity specifically in your path A (for example, "outcomePathA"). You would then be the right mouse click the parallel join-> click on "Configuration of the bridge of change to"-> click on "parallel and complex." You might, then right click on the new complex join-> click on 'Properties'-> click the "Application" tab-> check the box 'Abort pending flow. " On this same tab, set the logic to verify your result string variable to know if they clicked on the Cancel button of the track 'A' (for example ' "outcomePathA == 'CANCEL'). You also want to change the sequence flow for the path 'A' to connect to the join. Know you want to leave if she takes A path, so after the join, you can then add an exclusive gateway to check to determine if the user clicks Cancel in the path and have a sequence flow to go to an end event if this is the case.

  With the help of several profiles is not something that yell us on this forum. This is I think seen as too advanced. But there is no certain dangers that you may accidentally delete profiles for example. It is however possible to backup profiles manually and that can be a good precaution to take. I strongly suggest you to follow this good practice (at least until you're competent enough to manually recreate and modify profiles)

  Hello! It is not possible to activate alarming for unique shared process Variables. A workaround to set up a Notification of change of value would be to create a network shared variable that reads in your Variable single process, but at this point in time, it could be useful that replace your variable with a variable that is shared on a network.

  Your logic will not work unless idRegional is a project variable.
