Siri cannot open applications or access calendar

I recently upgraded to a new iPhone 6 s 5 s.

I have updated to iOS 9.2 and restored the phone from a backup to iCloud iPhone 5s after its purchase.

I noticed when I try to use Siri, it is impossible to open applications.

For any application I try to open, as the music, messaging, etcI say on it to open it it tells me: 'you don't seem to have an application named xyz. We could see if the App Store has it"

If I ask him what's on my calendar it tells my I have no entries...

I tried the telephone deactivation / activation and Siri and the... Don't know what to do with what I have never had this problem before the new phone.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thank you for your courage!

Hi all

I tried a variety of combinations to turn siri, reboot the phone, the deactivation of siri, turn off phone, then activation siri, allowing siri on screen lock etc etc etc with all the success...

Finally, I then tried a hard reset of the phone (hold down the power button and the home button until it restarts).

After the phone rebooted, the question has been briefly resolved but returned shortly after.

I waited about 1/2 hour (not sure if that makes a difference) to see if it resolves on its own, but it didn't.

I then did a hard reset (so far!) and second, the problem seems to be resolved... Siri is able to open my apps and normally responds to commands such as what is in my calendar, a message from my wife, etc... Hope that I jinx myself not.

Thank you for your courage

    Hello mia_sn,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see from your post that you have a problem with the Finder leave unexpectedly, and that causes a problem with the opening of some applications. I know how it is important to ensure that you have access to all your applications. I have a couple of things I want you to try.

First of all, try to start your computer in safe mode. Safe mode (sometimes called secure boot) is a way to start up your Mac so that it performs some checks, check your startup disk and prevents certain software from loading automatically or opening. The following article will help you start in safe mode:

OS X Mavericks: start in safe mode

Once you're in safe mode, test and see if you can open these applications. After that, give your computer a fresh reboot and then log in normally and test again.

If you continue to have a problem, try to test in a new user. Test in a new user account can help circumvent the problem of your main user account. This article will help you set up a new user:

OS X Mavericks: set up users on your Mac.

Once you are in a new user account, see if you get the same result when opening these applications.

    Hello tjknight83,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If you have trouble with Siri opening applications, you can take a look at the following article for assistance:

Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    Specifically, the following article:

    Help with Siri

    • If "Hey Siri" does not work, make sure that "Hey Siri" is turned on under settings > general > Siri.
    • Could Siri say, "Sorry, I have problems connecting to the network", or "Try again in a few moments." It is probably a problem with the network. Check your Internet connection and try again later.
    • If Siri is not available or responding to questions, see the next section.

If Siri is not available, or do not understand or answer questions

After each step, see if you still need help:

    1. Make sure that your iOS device has an Internet connection via Wi - Fi or cellular data.
    2. On your iOS device, make sure that Siri is enabled in settings > general > Siri.
    3. Restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.
    4. On your iOS device, go to settings > general > Siri and turn off Siri. Then turn on again.
    5. Ensure that the microphones on your device are not blocked. For example, if your device has a protection case, remove it.
    6. If you use an iOS device, try to use Siri with headphones. If the works of Siri, get more help with the microphones on your device.
    7. Contact Apple support.

If Siri does not make a noise when you press and hold the Home button

On your iPad or iPod touch, Siri sounds when it's time to ask a question. If you have an iPhone with iOS 9 or later, Siri begins to vibrate in place. You will hear only the ringtone on your iPhone with iOS 9 or later, when you use headphones.

Siri also sounds when you use "Hey Siri" on an iOS device 9.

    Best regards.

  • constantly reinstall XP, error messages, cannot open applications or get online

Whenever I turn off the computer, which is at night or when you don't use it, I have to reinstall XP from CD. It is very annoying to say the least. The office looks like the screen is in safe mode, but is not. I can't run any system, or take the line. The taskbar is white instead of blue.

When installing XP I get the following error messages:

1 GetRequestedRuntimeVersion procedure entry point could not be loaded in the dynamic link library mscoree.dll.

    2 - c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v2.050727\mscorwks.dll could not be loaded.

I receive each message once... then message 1 pop up to 16 times and the message is 2 shows 1 time.

Also, the speakers just stopped working when these problems started.

    Hi EricLeonard,

Reinstallation of the operating system of Windows, or upgrade your OS on-site is a troubleshooting step extreme that you should only take if you fully understand the ramifications and risks involved. A relocation cannot solve the problem you are experiencing.

The two dll files you mentioned in your query is related to the .net framework.

    · What is the service pack installed on your computer?

    · What happens when you go online or open the application?

    · You receive an error message or error code?

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

Determine the version of the .net framework is installed on your computer. You can check the link below:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318785

  • Cannot open the file, access is denied

I recently put a password on my user in XP Pro, and when I went to reconnect it does not recognize the password. Not sure if I've mistyped when I entered it or what. I logged in SafeMode as administrator, removed the password of this user, and he gave me a message about the saved passwords, etc.

I am now able to connect to my user, but all the files that I had encrypted long ago now cannot be opened. I tried to decipher them and I get access is denied message. I can not open them as an administrator.

    Any thoughts?

Now that I got the login figured out, I returned and changed the password to an old password and now I have access to these files. Decryption of now.

  • Cannot open applications

I just download XCode. After it finished installing, I tried to open it. He gave me an alert saying, 'XCode Can t Open,' and that's the only thing he said. Then I tried to open Google Chrome to see if I could get help. He gave the same warning. Then I tried to open another application, and he gave the alert again. So I restarted the computer and tried to open the XCode again. Exactly the same thing happened. I couldn't open any application. So I rebooted again, and I could open all of my applications until I open XCode. So basically, if I open XCode, I can't open anything until I restart the computer. How can I fix?

BTW, I tried to reinstall XCode a couple of times.

    Hello

    1. What happen exactly when you try to open the applications?

    2. you receive an error message?

    3. this happens with all applications you are trying to open?

    Method 1:

You can try to start the computer in safe mode with networking and check the issue in the clean boot state.

    Step 1:

You can start the computer in safe mode with network. See the following article to start the computer in safe mode with network.
A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

    Step 2:

You need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.
How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353/en-us
Note: when you have finished troubleshooting, proceed as explained in the article to reset the computer to start as usual.

    Method 2:

Try to scan your computer with the Microsoft Safety Scanner and check.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: the Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
Important: when running Scan disk hard if bad sectors are found on the hard drive when parsing tent repair this sector if all available on which data may be lost.

    Method 3:

You can check the question in the new user account. Consult the following links.

How to create and configure user accounts in Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/279783

How to copy data from a corrupted to a new profile in Windows XP user profile

  • I get a pop-up window at startup every time that says: "cannot open osoyugup.dll, Access is denied." I close the box and everything seems to work normally.

Why do I get this popup each time, and how to fix it?  I did a system repair and re-installed xp pro, but the pop up still appears whenever I turn on the PC.

See if the following sounds like your situation:
It is sometimes easy to get rid of the error message by doing something like disable the startup item in msconfig (if you can still find), but I suggest you fix the problem and difficulty not only the symptom of the problem by simply deleting the startup message.
I would also not recommend you start digging in the registry to try to find the startup item and remove it unless you have a backup of your system or at least a backup of your registry, because there is no 'Cancel' or 'quit without saving changes' option in regedit.  If you make a mistake, that's all.
These ideas relieve 'rapid' and sometimes risky of the symptom if they not even work at all, but they can't actually solve the problem.  Also, I'd be suspicious of ideas that begin with the words "try."  You don't need to try things, you need to fix things.  You don't need to try ideas that might work, you must do something that will always work all the time.
Here are the detailed instructions that protect you and solve your problem in the 'right' way.
There is very little. DLL files that should be loaded from the C:\WINDOWS folder and is not one of them.
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira
!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..
A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message at startup is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind him a startup item or the registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist.
It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed.  The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed. If you search your system for the referenced file, you may not find.
Windows attempts to load this file but cannot locate because the file has been deleted for most probably during an analysis of the malware. However, an orphaned associate of remainders of startup parameter or registry entry and tells Windows to load the file when you start or connection.
So you should delete the referenced entry Windows stop trying to load or run the file. It may or may not be included in the registry, but you can still find it.  Autoruns (see below) you get the elements no matter where it is.
If you just locate and uncheck the item in msconfig, which disables the element but does not remove the reference to the element of false starting your computer.   The msconfig program is not a Startup Manager, that's a troubleshooting tool.  Disabling things in msconfig to put an end to the messages and think that your problem is solved is short-sighted and leave behind him a sloppy XP configuration.  Just disable the display of a start-up error message should not count as a 'solution' to the problem.
If you are comfortable editing the registry, you can find and remove the reference directly from there or remove it using a popular third-party tool called Autoruns.  The problem can always be found in the registry well.
Before making any changes to your registry by hand or with third-party tools, don't forget to first make a backup of the registry. There is no cancellation or exit without saving the option in regedit.
Here is a link to a popular registry backup tool:
You can use Autoruns to find the element of start remains little matter where he's hiding.  Autoruns does not install anything on your computer.  It will display all startup locations where the reference may be then you can turn it off or remove it completely.  Here is the download link for Autoruns:
Run Autoruns.exe and wait that he at the end of the filling of the list of entries.
When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner.  Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information.  You are really interested only a few sections.
The problem is usually to start the system or the user startup entries, then click the connection tab and see if the startup item is there.
Scroll through the list and look for a boot entry associated files in the error message.
If you can't find on the connection tab, look in any tab.
You can also click file, search to search for logon, or any tab for all or part of the name of the element.
Right-click on the offending entry and choose Remove
.  If you are not sure what it is, you can simply disable, restart and if the problem is resolved and then remove the offending entry.  If you don't see it in Autoruns, you may edit the registry and remove the item from your startup folder it.  Autoruns shall display the same information however.
Given that systems currently has or has had an infection, follow up with this:
Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:
Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
They can be uninstalled later if you wish.
Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.

Do, or do not. There is no test.

Just in case there are persistent pieces of malware here is the method of complete elimination.

Try Mode safe mode with networking - repeatedly, press F8 that you start.

The best two methods allow scanners to run and/or AV.exe out of the way or removing.

    1.
CTRL SHIFT ESC - task manager OR right click on the taskbar - task manager

Process tab - complete the process on AV. EXE and continue with the uninstall Guide.

If necessary use start - computer or Windows Explorer to navigate to

necessary right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes - Properties - tab - target line to see where it
    is installed.

Right-click on it and rename it to ZZMbam.COM (or something different than now) and
Double-click it, and then run it like this. You can rename it back later. Do the same with
other programs according to the needs. Use this method to others as needed - NOT assume all
a program deletes all or that it is no other malicious software.

    2.
Another method is to use them:

Use Process Explorer to "Suspend" the process will not stop

Then use AutoRuns to delete the malicious program startup items.

Now use UnLocker to delete the files in the malware.
