Siri cannot find applications or play music

Just upgraded to the 6s and am having some problems with Siri.

It cannot open one of my apps (more comical, the App Store - see picture attached) or play any of my music. I am able to solve the problem by disabling Siri, restart my phone and then activation Siri yet BUT as soon as I turn on "Hey Siri" back, it plays dumb.

Can anyone help?

Thank you

Toby

Hello tjknight83,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

If you have trouble with Siri opening applications, you can take a look at the following article for assistance:

Use Siri on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Specifically, the following article:

Help with Siri

  • If "Hey Siri" does not work, make sure that "Hey Siri" is turned on under settings > general > Siri.
  • Could Siri say, "Sorry, I have problems connecting to the network", or "Try again in a few moments." It is probably a problem with the network. Check your Internet connection and try again later.
  • If Siri is not available or responding to questions, see the next section.

If Siri is not available, or do not understand or answer questions

After each step, see if you still need help:

  1. Make sure that your iOS device has an Internet connection via Wi - Fi or cellular data.
  2. On your iOS device, make sure that Siri is enabled in settings > general > Siri.
  3. Restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.
  4. On your iOS device, go to settings > general > Siri and turn off Siri. Then turn on again.
  5. Ensure that the microphones on your device are not blocked. For example, if your device has a protection case, remove it.
  6. If you use an iOS device, try to use Siri with headphones. If the works of Siri, get more help with the microphones on your device.
  7. Contact Apple support.

If Siri does not make a noise when you press and hold the Home button

On your iPad or iPod touch, Siri sounds when it's time to ask a question. If you have an iPhone with iOS 9 or later, Siri begins to vibrate in place. You will hear only the ringtone on your iPhone with iOS 9 or later, when you use headphones.

Siri also sounds when you use "Hey Siri" on an iOS device 9.

Best regards.

I noticed when I try to use Siri, it is impossible to open applications.

    Thank you for your courage!

    Hi all

I tried a variety of combinations to turn siri, reboot the phone, the deactivation of siri, turn off phone, then activation siri, allowing siri on screen lock etc etc etc with all the success...

Finally, I then tried a hard reset of the phone (hold down the power button and the home button until it restarts).

After the phone rebooted, the question has been briefly resolved but returned shortly after.

I waited about 1/2 hour (not sure if that makes a difference) to see if it resolves on its own, but it didn't.

I then did a hard reset (so far!) and second, the problem seems to be resolved... Siri is able to open my apps and normally responds to commands such as what is in my calendar, a message from my wife, etc... Hope that I jinx myself not.

    Thank you for your courage

  • Cannot find application in the store

I am trying to download my football team Hungarian app, but the research says it can't find it, I got the app before, I have it on my ipod, but it can not find for ipad, why?

He has a very good chance that your application has been removed from the App Store. This can happen for a variety of reasons. What you could try (if you have transferred your applications on your computer) you can install directly on your device.

  • Cannot find application loaded on Simulator

    Hi all

When I try to launch my application with eclipse the Simulator starts, but the application is not running. When I try to load the code from the Simulator itself I have this message in the eclipse console - ' CMM: BBMSDKDemo (3056) exists already, I can't find the app in the Simulator.» Is there anything else I can try?

I'm using the blackberry Simulator 9800.

    Thank you

    Greetings.

Try to remove the five files related to said request (.cod, .cls, .cso, .debug and .jar) of your way of Simulator (in my case, 'R:\Eclipse BB 1.3\plugins\net.rim.ejde.componentpack6.0.0_6.0.0.30\components\simulator') and run the project again. This will allow eclipse recreate the files again with the new settings and the source code for your project.

    I hope this be useful.

the new app Gallery, could you please tell how to get the application SOA model?

    Kelvin

Also, I think it's a problem with the installation of the extension. Download the extension of SOA on yout pc (http://download.oracle.com/otn-pub/jdeveloper/11.1.1.7.0/extensions/soa-jdev-extension.zip) and start jdev form a shell (jdeveloper/bin/jdev.exe or jdev64.exe for windows). install the extension of local file and don't restart jdev questioned after installation. Close jdev and start again from the shell. You should then see that a messaged that generates the installer.

  • Cannot find application in app manager to uninstall

I initially downloaded an application called clock radio.  It didn't keep the screen on which I wanted for a visible clock at night.  So I downloaded "Best alarm" which works very well.

The problem is that I can't uninstall 'Waking up' because it does not appear in the list of applications in the application manager.  When I opened the Apps drawer he sits there, first of all in my list, but it does not appear in the Appl. Mngr.

  • Why Siri cannot play music?

Whenever I have ask Siri to play music or a playlist, or an artist, song, Siri said "Sorry, I'm unable to play your music." Why? And how can this be repaired?

    Hello cohenmd,

Looks like Siri has trouble reading your music, but otherwise very good. I would start with these troubleshooting steps in the following article:

    1. Restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.
    2. On your iOS device, go to settings > general > Siri and turn off Siri. Then turn on again.

From: Siri use on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the problem persists then I would leave the settings and music apps:

Force an app to close the iOS

    1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
    2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.
    3. push upward on the overview of the application to close.

When you have done that reboot the device and test again the question:

iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset

  • Windows tells me it cannot find the files to play in one of my music, why is this?

When I click on any track, I get a message saying that Windows Media Player cannot find the file. Why is this and how to solve the problem?

    Hello

    (1) is this problem occurs with any format of file in particular?

    (2) what is the exact error message?

    (3) have you made recent changes to the computer before the show?

I suggest to refer to the following articles and perform the troubleshooting steps out there.

Method 1: Solve the video issues in Windows Media Player and other media or library

Run the Microsoft Fixit mentioned in the article.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/mats/windows_media_player_diagnostic

    Method 2:

You receive an error message of codec or audio plays video but does not play when you play media files in Windows Media Player 11: http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/926373

  • Error: "Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you try to play, burn, or sync an item that is in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed or deleted'

Original title: laptop won't read the music files stored on external hard drive

I have an old Compaq laptop Windows XP, so it was out of memory I transferred everything on a Portable Seagate (500 GB) hard drive and started to access it. It's worked well for over a year, but lately, began to stop playing my music files. Absolutely everything on the hard drive opens, however, images, files and folders, but when I go into Windows Media Player, it pops up with this error message:

Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you try to read, burn or sync an item that is in your library, the element can point to a file that has been moved, renamed, or deleted.
I have not modified parameters or anything that moved. I used to be just able to restart the laptop, or disconnect and reconnect the hard drive and it works again, but now it or not will be not at all, or it will cut off half way through a song and then not to play anything more.
I can't find any support for this problem because the phone reads that the hard drive is there, and everything else works. Only the music doesn't. I tried to play music on a connected USB and it works fine. I'm so confused!
