  I was trying to Visual Basic 2005 Express edition. It stops in the middle and gives me an error message: Visual Studio 2005 has a compatibility problem known with this version of Windows. And the Solution online is given as to install "Visual Studio 2005 SP1" and "Visual Studio 2005 SP1 update for Windows Vista and Windows 7". I could still run the installation and fill it. But when I start the Visual Basic Express Edition the above error message is copied.

  When I tried to install above two 'VS80sp1-KB926601-X 86 - ENU' and "VS80sp1-KB932232 - X 86 - ENU", I get the error message "the upgrade patch cannot be installed by the windows service install because the program to be upgraded is may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program." Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade patch. »

  I am in the process of migrating a Visual studio 2003 project in Visual studio 2005.While recompilation of code with VS2005, I'm getting below error-

  ' 1. ' Microsoft.Vsa.IVsaEngine ' is obsolete: ' use of this type is not recommended because it is is deprecated in Visual Studio 2005; There is no replacement for this feature.

  Could someone please suggest me any solution for this problem?

  This customer is having a problem with Visual Studio 2005. It wondered if there was a specific shortcut, which disables certain keys on their keyboard. Both as it mentioned in order to not work the period and the comma. It runs Windows 7. If they close and reopen the program it will work, but then stops after a while. They claim that they suspect that there is a toggle button, but they're not sure. Any suggestions or ideas on how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

  I looked on the VS site and couldn't find a definitive answer to the use of this version on my new OS.  I know, they use Visual Studio 2010 and al.  I don't have the kind of cash they are trying to get at me.

  At least, if I use it, I can do some free projects made/self-used.  I download free development systems.  But, they run out after 60 to 90 days.  I still need to get MS Office Standard 2007/10.  Urgh! I wish that I coould win the lottery or something.

  I just tried to convert my cvi application to compile with visual studio 2005, the conversion of the CVI 9.0 Wizard. It seems to work in the sense that it interacts with my application labview correctly but the console is not displayed. Is there a setting in visual studio to make appear the my console?

  Visual studio updates will be offered if you have visual studio installed on the computer.

  First of all, I'd say you check in the programs and features to see if visual studio or visual C++ is installed on the computer.

  (a) by clicking on the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking programs, and then clicking programs and features, open programs and features.

  These services are offered through optional updates in Windows update.

  If you do not either of the program installed on the computer, or you don't want these updates, you can hide it on windows update so that it is not available again.

  (a) open Windows Update by clicking Start , all programsand then click Windows Update.

  (b) in the left pane, click check for updates , and then, when Windows finds updates for your computer, click view available updates.

  (c) with the right button the update, you do not want to install, and then click hide update. The next time you check the updates, the update will not be automatically selected or installed. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  I download and open visual studio 2010 express, it downloads ok, but when you open Internet explore it opens the window and gives you connection message, when it connects it flashes on the screen and then close the window

  An ISO file is an image of a CD.  It must be burned using image burning software.  ImgBurn is free and easy to use.

  This file is not intended to be opened with Internet Explorer or any other application.

• Visual Studio 2010 Express hangs after Windows Update

  June 11, 2010, I have 19 updates from Windows Update for my Windows XP Home SP3 Swedish (exceptionally many using the computer every day). After I rebooted, Visual Studio 2010 Express crashed at startup saying "(défini par l'utilisateur point d'arrêt-un point d'arrêt dans une application indique erreur de programme)." Re - installation of VS) did not help. Being run/scannow CFS does not report a problem any. Run the program in WinDbg, the program stops at a breakpoint in ntdll.dll. This should indicate that there was a problem with ntdll.dll, but all the tests that I ran to the DLL files are all problems. Other programs on the computer seem to work normally, including AVG 9.0 free virus checker, I installed to compensate for the NIS. NIS experts spent several hours in my computer without finding the reason. All clever out there who can help me?

  The problem is solved!

  I run the SDK Direct-X (latest version) in Debug mode and when I changed the retail fashion problems disappeared. Since there is no problem with Debug mode, before the updates of Windows, I guess that these updates were not compatible with debugging DLLs in the SDK. MS has probably forgotten to test in Debug mode or something. Instead however, annoying because the Debug mode is useful during the development of applications of DX.

  When I run it on my computer in the Panel of control/updates section to update, it fails. I get an error from the A66 without details.

  I am running Vista Home Premium.

  It has been suggested for this A66 error to go to the section control/uninstall Panel, click on the "MS .net Framework 4 Client Profile" and fix it. I did it successfully. I tried to run the update again; and he failed again with the error of the A66.

  I did tutor which is used to record the Windows Application to the learning process. It is a 32-bit application that works fine in Windows XP and Windows 7 32 bit OS operating system. But after the upgrade of Windows 7 Service Pack 1, it doesn't now. When we try to record something, it's giving the guardian has stopped working and program disappears.
  Any product from Guardian:
  1. it is a Visual Studio 2005 application.
  2. in execution of tutor, turn us the key to register PEHOOK.
  3. some of the DLLs we use are: Interop * and other user defined dlls.
  4. it can be used to record any application Windows 32 bit OS.
  When searching I got a solution in the forum:
