site updated bilingual Web advice

I have an English site created in Dreamweaver cs5.5, hosted on Go Daddy and I want people to be able to access a version in French of my site. I need not translated content since I do myself. How can I set this up so that there is a link between the English content and the French content?

I've never done so the tips are greatly appreciated.

If it is a small static site (maybe 5-10 pages), I make a translated version and place it in a french record on my normal site, then give the viewer a link which brings them to the English version and vice versa. The structure of the site would look like...

index.html

French

index.html

images

pages

Page1.html

Page2.html

images

pages

Page1.html

Page2.html

Your English viewers would see www.yourdomain.com/page.html and the French would see www.yourdomain.com/french/page.html

In larger sites, I would probably go with the help of a data base to fill the content according to their choice (flag of the buttons in the main toolbar).
