size of tc - 605 Acer pc case fan?

I am trying to add the new fan in my pc acer tc 605 case, but I do not have this size fan can fits into the rear slot of your case?

sukup6,

According to the link below, you can measure distance between the holes to determine the size.  I think a fan 80mm or 92mm fan will work, but not quite... remember as it has been a while since I measured.

Also, there are a couple of molex available on the harness of the ps... so it will be "always on" full speed at less than case fitted with a speed switch fan.  It isn't a sysfan of work on the motherboard to auto regulate the fan speed.  So you might want to consider a case fan which includes a 3 speed switch, if you're not running full speed all the time, even at idle.

An example of a case with a three-speed switch fan:

I have a case in my tc - 605 fan, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I installed a GTX 950 in my HP 700-414 played overwatch for maybe 3 or 4 hours max and my time cpu has reached 85 - 87 c and my gpu is between 80-85 C. So I was wondering if you guys know how I could find the size of the case fan and how many mounts for fans are available? Because I can't find anything on it I searched and searched. And do you think I could adapt a CPU cooler to spare in this case?

    Hello92, welcome to the forum.

The time of your video card do not seem to be too bad.  The absolute maximum for the GTX 950 is 95 C.  Ideally, you do not want to keep at least 10 to 15 C lower than that which is yours according to your figures.  Your time CPU however are much too hot for me.  When OC I am very cautious and want to see time about 50 C.

You may need to get a little inventive when it comes to add case fans.  It's always a balance.  You can actually get fans to work against the other.  In other words, a fan air may cause another do not work effectively.  Trial and error is the best way to go.  When the fans run correctly, you will see an increase in cooling.  In addition, it probably not places to mount fans.  This can be overcome by using velcro or other means.  There's not enough connectors, so you will need to use adapters.

After walking coolers are normally very large.  You will need to measure carefully to make sure that the cooler you choose to insert in the case.  I have recommended a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO to a member and it was too big.  Cooler Master makes some very good, but you must find one that will fit in your case.

  • Dell Studio XPS 9100: Case fan care? Cooler CPU upgrade options?

I want to upgrade the case fans in my XPS 9100, but I've seen much contradictory info in the actual specifications regarding size: are these 92 mm or 120 mm?

In addition, it is an i7 960: is there a compatible upgrade for the CPU cooler? I don't want or need to COO liquid: want to let it cool a bit. Basic time are constantly around 52 C.

I think that on all processors in the LGA 1366 socket, the hoses are the same.  On the 9000, I used the cooler DBX - B on 4 different processors in the LGA 1366 socket.  Any socket LGA 1366 cooler should operate, regardless of the CPU.

The DBX - B can be installed to direct the air in 1 of the 4 directions, depending on how it is mounted.  I have mine pointing upward, to the power supply.  (Note fan blows air in the direction of the fins in aluminium).  Idea is to keep the heat away from the other components of the motherboard and direct it to two fans at the rear (one being in the power supply), which are tailpipes.

  • Case fan runs at full speed

I accidentally shorted the circuit case fan on my motherboard HP (explanation below), and now the fan runs at full speed all the time. Apart from the fact that it was a stupid thing to do, it will be a long term problem and should I try to reset the fan speed switch?

(Long version) It's hot here these days and my computer fans seemed underpowered. I put a splitter at the exit of the case on the motherboard fan and added a second fan in addition to the original fan. All it worked well except the new fan seems to run pretty slow. I wanted to get a voltage reading card fan, but I accidentally hit the two sensors on my voltmeter and the computer shuts down immediately. He has started up and worked well, except that the throttle was no longer working and the fans were running at full speed. This also explains why the second fan turned slowly before when they were both being strangled.

I guess that in the end I got my wish to have my fans running at full power, I just wanted to see if there are future problems leaving this way.

    Hello design_guy,

You should not have problems with the fan rotating at high speed, with the exception that you can reduce the life cycle of the fan.

You can install software on the computer that will allow you to adjust the speed of the fan to the computer which may help you extend the life of the fans and give you a bit of control over them.

Something like SpeedFan should do the trick.

    Hello Chris,

Today, I received two 80mm Arctic F8 case fans with an adapter fan 3 pin molex.  The difference in thermal performance is deep.  I have attached four photographs, one of the fan box, one of the back of my case, one inside my case, the molex adapter, and a thermal profile up-to-date.

With the last test after installing fans, the system seemed to stabilize round 70 C.  Although, I let only the test and monitor run for 15 minutes approximately.

  • Elite E91XX: CPU/Case fan help please

    Hello

I got my Elite e9150t for over a year and I was very happy with it. This Christmas, I've added a video card MSI GTX460 with a cooler ventilated internally. The video card use on 150W under full power and it is not a little too hot for my taste.

My PC is in a custom-made in the office with the construction of ventilation in. The Office currently has a USB-powered fan that pulls 17 ft3/min, and I'll add two more this week. I hope that will solve my problem, but if it is not my next step is to upgrade the case fan in the PC. It's really painful to remove the desktop PC, so I'm hoping to get some answers here.

From what I see the fan is a 92mm unit. I don't see the brand name, what type of connector, there or CFM rating.

Of you can look at the fan in your system to e91XX of elite and give me some info that you can find on the fan? The fan has a 3Pin or 4pin on the motherboard connector? It blows out or in the case?

    Thanks in advance,

    Chris

    Chris,

I use the EVGA GTX 460 1 GB but not the EA model (venting).

You must still understand how to get fresh air in the office and the hot air outside. More ventilation top and bottom will help you. You may even consider using some fans to stream manipulation.

  • Acer Predator AG3-605 case fans?

Hello, I saw that the predator AG3-605 does not come with box fans, but has the slots for them, I just wanted to know what size fan do I need for the side and rear of the case.

    Saniro,

You made a good observation, but the system is designed for energy efficiency and the optimal use of the way in which it has been designed from the factory. I just found a location for a system fan and it's backward. Looks like it can accommodate 80mm or 120mm fan, but I'm not sure that these specifications are not included because it was not designed with the idea of using or needing the extra airflow.

  • Installation of Predator G3-605 case fan

    Hello new here 1st post.

How can I install a back box to my PC fan. Ive pushed into a GTX970 in lieu of the GTX745 and its loads all good but very hot, hot air coming out of the back. Want to install a case at the rear fan. The case has a place for a fan, but how can I power. There is no header with the exception of the CPU that is used. So can I use the connection SATA spare part for power a constant fan. Hope you know what I mean.

    Hello

Ok. I just forgot one small detail. You will need 4 screws to fix the fan like these. They don't are not shipped with the fan said because it is part of the OEM. You should find them in a computer or a local electronic store.

Now, you have all the information, so good luck!

  • HPE - 590t: Suggestions for replacement CPU Cooler & case fan

    Hi all

I would like to replace the fan in my HPE - 590 t.  Recently, he made loud noises and yesterday it sounded like a car was at my house with the idling of the maximum RPM.

I know that some have recommended the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO in previous threads, however I have some concerns regarding this cooler would fit in my case, as it seems that I have about 1.5 inches of space to the left of the cooler and about 1' of headroom above the stock cooler.

Here are the specs for my motherboard.

I have a case of average size, I would be grateful any recommendation for the appropriate CPU cooler.

Ideally, I'd like something that could last another two years and be as quiet as possible.

    Ruette,

I wanted to let you know that you were right about the question of the back plate on the motherboard.   I decided to order the aftermarket cooler that I mentioned, and when I went to install it, it appeared to be welded directly on the motherboard.  I was puzzled because I've never seen such a design.

Because I could not remove the back plate, I couldn't install the new heatsink.

Being faced with the choice of either ordering a heat sink used as you have suggested to the origin or the HP part since the website claiming to sell the stock heatsink heat, I decided to remove my HP Elite system and build a custom system.

I built a new system with a motherboard MSI Gaming 5 and 4790 k i7 processor and used the ram, power supply, SSD, GTX 750 ti and other components in my system HP Elite for my new build. All these elements I just mentioned were anyway under a year of age.  Of course, I had to spend money on a Windows 7 operating system at retail, but also a new case, but overall it was worth the money. I also think that in the end I started to the cultivate my HP and it was just time for me to upgrade.  Now, that I'll stay with custom desktops built and stay away with OEM computers due to the unusual limitations that the OEM wants to place on their systems.

Thanks again for all your help!

  • My Acer Aspite M3 fan is on all the time. Is it OK?

    Hello!

I bought a new Acer Aspite M3. The fan is all the time and made a noise of annoying. What is a fault on my computer or a drawing or model 'feature' of Acer?

    Thank you!

It's me again (I started this topic). That's when a day later, to work with the computer, fan to shut up. I don't know why, but now everythink is OK. It could have been something more high antivirus analysis when first analyzing the hard drive or it could have been a mechanical boot problem. In all cases, the computer is fine now. • M8000n - replacement case fan?

    Hi people,

My son-in-law has a M8000n with a defective rear fan (also known under the name case, or chassis and system fan) and I would replace it for him. I bought a new 80mm fan, but felt that it was too small, the mounting holes do not align the holes of the rack back.

Can anyone tell me please what I need size? I'm sure it's 90mm or 92mm, but I don't know who. I searched every document from HP, I can find it and googled until my fingers are numb.

    Thanks in advance! :-)

"wb2001" - thank you very much for your quick response!

I've never personally used HP products before, so I wasn't aware that 92 mm is the standard.

Exactly what I needed to know whether Live & Learn, right?

    Thanks again! :-)

  • Acer TravelMate P653 - fan noisy at startup

I didn't not use my laptop for Christmas as I was away. He was left connected to the power grid, but turned off.

The first time I started after my return started abruptly fan when starting Windows message appears. It remains then to near maximum speed, long after everything had loaded. It's never happened before.

I managed to work around it by pressing Fn + F4 which puts the laptop in mode 'sleep'. After several seconds, the powers of the fan facing downwards.

If I then press a key to wake up the laptop everything which is very good and the fan does not work at high speed. I hear him quietly running in the background.

For the rest of this session, the fan is behaving itself. But when I start the laptop from the cold the entire process starts again and I have to repeat the actions to turn it off.

I'm puzzled why he did this. I uninstalled and reinstalled Acer ePower Management v6.0 through the eRecovery Management utility but it made no difference.

I also checked the BIOS (F2 at startup) and can see nothing that affects the speed of the fan.

Any help to fix this problem would be appreciated.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

In the end, it was something simple, but I really don't understand why this action fix.

With the laptop off, I removed the battery then removed the power cable. I then put the battery and reconnect the power cable.

Propelled to the top that the laptop and the fan do not supply at maximum speed.

Thanks for your help Lawrence and I hope this can help others.
